Review Time
The light I ordered, arrived damaged, and was completely made of cheap plastic and rubber material when the website stated that it was metal and acrylic. I Emailed the website five times, sent pictures showing how it arrived damaged and asked for money back(over 300 cad) and still have not heard anything, not even a generic response email. Do NOT order from this company.
Despite frustrating shipping difficulties, that I don't believe were the fault of BulbSquare, the light fixture I ordered was a very pretty, seemingly hand made, leaded glass fixture and I was glad I waited for it to arrive. It is hard to tell online how something will look once you get it, but this fixture was well made. Customer Service answered my questions thru email and dealt with the situation as well as possible.
When I purchased from this company there was a misunderstanding. However, the after sales support was very helpful. They resolved the case and I can enjoy the product. I love the follow up and the way they keep in touch despite the time difference. Will buy from them again.
Ordered my lamp Jan 3. It’s now April 6 and updated tracking shows the package apparently just meandering around China every couple days. I hope my patience will pay off, I hate dealing with refunds and customer service so I’m taking my time
I was a little worried at first to order my suspended lights with BulbSquare when I saw their reviews, especially for the delays. I ordered on February 11th 2023 and got my order on March 9th 2023 and I live in Canada, so it took a little less than 1 month to receive my suspended lights.They look great! I ordered the sea snail suspended lights (gold) for my kitchen because of the cool/unique look and good price.There is a very light scratch at the top of 1 of the light (not really noticeable). Overall I am happy with my order. I also contacted the warehouse by email and they updated me with the shipping (because I was worried about delays). Now I am waiting for the renovation team to start remodelling my kitchen, so I will not be waiting for the lights!If you like a particular model of lights, I recommend this company if you are willing to wait a few weeks to receive your order.
(Technically Zero stars!). Please take note of the number of bad reviews BEFORE you consider ordering from this company; I wish I had done so before I ordered! I placed an order on January 2nd, and it is now March 1st, and NO lights have arrived. THEY DID BILL MY CREDIT CARD IMMEDIATELY, which today I started a block-and-dispute-the-charges procedure. When I emailed customer service they sent me back an obviously poorly worded/poorly translated email saying my product was "In Port and waiting to be released", but I have lost faith in this company and despite their slick and beautiful website, I declare that this company is NOT LEGIT.
This has been the absolute worst purchase Experiance I have ever had. Our light fixtures were ordered on December 1st with a 20-35 day shipping window and I still don’t have them on February 19th. In fairness, we moved at the end of January although we started communicating with customer service about that in late December… at first it was to make sure they arrived before we moved, and then once it was clear they would not, the conversation shifted to changing the delivery address. All seemed fine and well, they provided a Fedex tracking number and said I could reach out to Fedex once they received it (which they never did). Now I’m finding out that they actually shipped UPS instead, didn’t update me with details despite my persistent emails - and you guessed it the lights were delivered to the wrong address - yet according to them that’s my fault for not updating UPS while in transit (like somehow I should know that when I had a Fedex tracking number). All this would probably be easier to accept if I’d just been flat out scammed. Knowing they are a real company and are this horrific to work with is actually worse.I’ll never buy from them again, will never recommend them, and am going to try to get a refund though my payment method next.
Order late December, January 1st, got an email saying, it was shipped, and then nothing, starting to send email, by the end of the month and still nothing, UPS confirmed that yes, the waybill was created but never process, then, they change the tracking number to a new one and it's not even my order, my name, and my address…. Really, I feel I was rubbed by them.
