Beware! This is a Chinese scam company. Do not buy anything from them. The lamps I ordered came damaged and despite the fact that they sold me an insurance and gave a money back, safe shipping guarantee their insurance partner did not pay anything. The lamps were also very low quality.
BulbSquare Customer Service calmed my fears about ordering internationally. All of my questions were answered thoroughly and promptly by name, and I had a lot of questions due to my inexperience ordering internationally. Mainly, I learned tracking starts only when when order reaches destination country and passes through Customs. I call it the silent period unlike domestic ordering. Quality and beauty far exceeded my expectation.
After initial difficulties with a first set of lights, and a change in manufacturer, I am thrilled with my lights. Could not find comparable in Canada and price was spot on. Additionally, the customer service I received was outstanding. From the moment I reached out about the first set of lights until the second set were installed and working properly, I had prompt and responsive service from Rita at every turn. I will absolutely order from Bulb Square again!
Product did not match the description, the fixture was cheep quality and the return process was impossible. I ended up disputing the charge with my credit card because they wouldn't issue a refund. I would stay away from this company. It's a foreign company marketing to the US of some sort using direct shipping from China.
To all potential customers, heed this warning: do not buy from Bulbsquare.com. My experience with this company has been disastrous. Here’s why:1. Incredibly Long Delivery Times: I moved into a new house and placed my order in February. Despite their website confirming a delivery timeline of three weeks, I received the first batch of my order in April and the second batch in May. In total, I waited four months for my order. This is absolutely unacceptable.2. Customer Service: The customer service at Bulbsquare.com is the worst I have ever encountered. They consistently blamed delays on material shortages and falsely promised that my shipment would be ready in a week. This promise was never fulfilled. Here is the response from customer service: *"We've encountered some delays due to understaffing at the copper factory". *"We are awaiting materials from the copper factory, and we estimate that it will take approximately another week before we can proceed with shipping."Their communication was nothing but a string of empty assurances and fake timelines.3. Incomplete Orders: When the lights arrived, most were missing installation kits. This oversight added another layer of frustration to an already horrible experience.4. No Return Policy: To make matters worse, if you decide you no longer want the lights, you cannot return them. The customer service confirmed that returns to China are not possible. Here is the response from customer service."in the future, even if you refuse to pay, they cannot be returned to China. If we were to resend the lights, the combination of production time and air freight would still result in a considerable delay."5. Management: Trying to escalate the issue is futile. Even if you request to speak with the operations manager, you will only receive an email response offering a discount to close the matter. They do not address the root issues of delay.In summary, dealing with Bulbsquare.com has been a nightmare. They have proven to be unreliable, unhelpful, and dishonest. Save yourself the stress and avoid this company at all costs.
Needed a really hard to find glass leaf for a chandelier that was installed in our house prior to us purchasing it and they were able to match it and send us a replacement. The entire process took less than 30 days from our first email to Bulbsquare until we received the new part! Thank you!!
