Review Time
I had a terrible experience with a company's website while ordering a light fixture. Despite placing the order, I received a message a few days later stating that the factory would be closed for almost a month due to the Chinese New Year and that orders would only be shipped 45-60 days after the factory reopens. This is unacceptable. The company should have informed its customers about this in advance, as it is a holiday that occurs every year. After reading reviews from other customers, I'm relieved that we didn't receive the light fixture due to the issues that people have reported.On April 11th, someone from Bulbsquare replied to my review. However, I could not respond to their message, which is unacceptable. To ensure their response was visible to others, I edited my review and included their reply. Despite my attempts to discuss the matter further and explore possible solutions, Bulbsquare failed to resolve the issue, which is disappointing. Based on the other negative reviews on Trustpilot, Bulbsquare has copied and pasted a generic response to show they attempted to address the issues. In light of this, I strongly advise against using any of Bulbsquare's products or services. Despite their attempts to offer me discounts, they have failed to solve the problem or make things right.
I ordered a desk lamp in November 23 and have sent many emails to find out when it will arrive. Like many other customers, this company make the excuse of shipping delays..DO NOT USE THIS SITE. They take your money but do not deliver. IF I were to ever receive this item, have requested to return, especially after reading reviews from customers saying that after a very long wait for their product, they arrive faulty and of poor quality.
This company is great to work with! We had several lights that we wanted to look at and they helped us pick the right color and temperature of the light! We had one of the lights stop working a few weeks after we installed and they promptly replaced it, hasslefree!
I ordered my lights on October 24. By November 20 all they could tell me was that the lights were "in the Shanghai port" and that there was no way to stop the order or get a refund. To date, I have no idea if or when I will ever see these lights. VERY SORRY I ever did business with this outfit.
PLEASE READ! My husband is an electrician...we installed a ceiling light purchased from this site and within an hour of it being on, it started smoking, and caught on fire. The transformer was black. Thank goodness we were home. Customer service is horrible which I expected after the fact, don't waste your time buying from Bulb Square. Such a headache.** Review revised as of 10/25/23: The company emailed me back with a full refund, which I was grateful for, thank you.
I would give this company zero stars if I could. I waited 6 weeks for a ceiling light to arrive. When it showed up this $250 light was missing pieces, falling apart, with no instructions, and was clearly cheaply made. I had a certified electrician confirm the thing is a cheap piece of crap and wouldn't work. Throughout this the company was unresponsive and when I told them I wanted to file a claim for a return they responded with the polite version of "sod off."
