The ' Birthday Event ' with free postage and all orders will be emalgamated, then sent on 28th October, was the speel, with free postage as the real ' bonus ' It's a disgrace that they weren't transparent , as they didn't actually have stock for so many items. I am convinced that's why they gave that date thinking everything will be in stock in 2 weeks. They ended up with egg on their face, extremely unhappy customers and many like myself requesting refunds after placing orders during the event, with no sign of items in stock. They should have stated preorders, as honesty is the best policy. I have spent so much money with this company as a new crafter, however I'll look elsewhere first In future for a company that's honest and can deliver what I order in a reasonable time. Very unhappy with how crafters companion, handled this situation.
Incorrect delivery information supplied (and stated on product pages) and order was subsequently delayed. Upon querying the reason CC customer service advised I should have read a "birthday booklet" or done a deep dive into their delivery details (a few links in after the product pages) to know that the items I had purchased would be delayed. However, there was no indication on the product pages that the items were limited stock, had any issues, part of any "event" that would cause delays. Customer service instead shirked the responsibility and essentially blamed the customer for their inadequate site and product communication. The items I were buying were a gift, I'm not in the "crafting" world and have no idea about events etc. Either way, I won't be buying from them again.
I've ordered for the second time and what can I say, I'm delighted. They always have great offers and discounts. The service is first class, they help where they can. I order from Germany and delivery takes 7-10 days on average. I can definitely recommend CC! Customer friendliness is great.
I had an order come to me incomplete. I ordered the "Bundle of Joy" collection. I received the "Winter Wishes" collection. I emailed the customer service and said that I never received the "Bundle of Joy" with the rest of my items, but they said that the status showed as delivered, and they hoped that helped. Really? I didn't say that I received the wrong item, because I just never received the right item. So, I have an item that was the same price, but the wrong item, and the customer service won't send the right item. This item was about $50 alone. Then, my order keeps showing as "partially shipped," which is making me wonder if it is coming.
Avoid this company like the plague. I've had nothing but complaints over the years i've used this company. Spent hundreds of pounds buying the Spectrum Noir refillable alcohol markers. Had nearly finished purchasing the whole set before they discontinued them with out a word. They've also discontinued the refills so i'm stuck with all these expensive pens which have mostly dried up now. I've tried emailing them several times on this matter, not 1 response from them. Sara is a greedy wolf, all she cares about is your money, she's all sweetness and light on the telly but really she's ruthless.
To say I was disappointed with these cards is an understatement.I usually order my 300gsm linen card blanks from a different supplier but thought I'd give Crafters Companion a go.Apart from the quality of the card they have a slight grey tinge which is definitely not white. They are too flexible for 300gsm.If any 'wet' medium is used on them on top of a printed image the ink bleeds. This has never happened with my previous cards (different brand). The envelopes are also just 100gsm which I knew but I usually have 130gsm and the difference is huge, this isn't a fault of CC though.I won't order again, I was expecting more from this well established crafting company.
I love this company’s products but unfortunately I am unable to order from them. This is down to the fact that they only use Yodel as their courier. Although I live in a location that is very easy to find and I have spotted their vans delivering to my neighbours (I live in an apartment building), Yodel seem incapable of finding me or even sending me a message. I even set up an account with all the relevant information and more but it was never accessed. Trying to buy CC products from other retailers is impossible as most of them just send the order to CC to be fulfilled. Craftstash do a good job and so do Hazel’s Crafts, but I would prefer to order directly from Crafter’s Companion for their special deals and bundles or when products are out of stock with the two other companies. EVRI does an excellent job in our area and so does Royal Mail. If CC offered more options I would definitely turn into a frequent customer; now I am just frustrated and annoyed that I am prevented from ordering what I so desperately want!
I contacted Crafters Companion as my Gemini die cutting machine wasn't working properly. I have only good things to say about the experience I had with them. They answered my emails and my phone call efficiently. The machine was picked up for repair and a was returned to me in working order again.I do agree however, that the plates do warp very quickly.
