Falsely advertised a delivery range then put delivery in for 3 weeks later. Afterwards said they had already planned and booked all deliveries up 2 weeks prior to my order, but were still advertising those dates.Poor customer service in the follow up, including telling me after cancellation that the refund might not go through.Wouldn’t ever ever order anything from these people again.
I ordered a arm chair and couple of weeks ago . I went to go and pick up from the stores . I met with the store manager Samantha who I would like to give credit to . Samantha was extremely helpful and friendly I would live to give full praise with the customer service I had this morning. I love the arm chair ive ordered and I had a look around the store and I was impressed what they had in store . Please give credit to Samantha and I would reccomend anyone looking for arm chair or a sofa to visit this store . Thanks again for all your help very pleased with the service today .
Bunch of useless,so called business people.Ordered a sofa in September (website stated’in stock’) and paid extra for delivery.Only to be called and told that sofa will be delivered in November.Hello,where in the world delivery takes 2 months in Uk,unless the sofa was not in stock and/or sent from abroad.However for the price paid was expected flawless customer service but it was not.Customer service are the worst,barely understand or speaking english and been lied all this time.Called me multiple times,to confirm the delivery date,just to receive phone call from this company,the day before delivery,to be told the sofa we ordered is not in stock and will be sent a different one.Told them to stick the sofa up the ar*e and to get refund.They wasted 2 months of our time for nothing.Will look for more serious and reputable company next time.Be careful of these scammers before committing to buy from them….
Dont touch them with a barge pole! I did the 50% on order and balance to pay before delivery. My chair order was supposed to be with us in 3 to 4 weeks but took 7. I had to contact them 3 days before the expected delivery date that was sent to me to settle my balance, I was sent a link and paid.The day before delivery I get a call telling me I owed the balance, I could see it pending on my bank account, I called them and they told me I hadn't paid any money at all!I had paid the deposit through PayPal which I told them and that the remainder had been paid 2 days previously, they had no clue and asked me to call my bank regarding the final pending payment, which I did, it was their end not taking the money!!I let them know and they agreed all was paid, the chair arrived the next day.They never took the balance and it was returned to my account, I was furious! I left it to see how long it would take them to get in tough, it was 10 days later! To annoy them I ignored every message they sent as they had caused me such a lot of stress!I contacted them and paid the balance which this time went through.Useless communication and dreadful customer service, as said don't use them, they have no clue!
Would not buy anything from this company I purchased a chesterfield sofa got it delivered on the 29th of June 2025 and it has started too sag on the cushions and the leather has all stretched but not on the middle cushion just the 2 end ones and it’s a really bad mess looks absolutely horrible but the company are trying to say its age related won’t even send anyone out to look at it it’s shocking when it’s under a 12 month guarantee I payed £1400 for it and will now have to go and purchase a new settee as it’s fit for the bin not even a phone call from this company just emails so don’t buy from them your wasting your money
After delivery of our 4 seater sofa and chesterfield chairs we noticed some minor faults Andy from designer sofas came to our house to help with our concerns he fully understood and corrected the problems he stated"the customer deserves the best for their hard earned money"we received the very best service from this company from Bea in sales thru to the delivery crew. would recommend this company to anyone great quality, fantastic service and great value not many companies treat customers like we have been treated
I received my Armchair today, from Designer Sofas 4 U, and I am delighted with it. I am also delighted that they Deliver to Northern Ireland, I will be recommending this company to my friends, for they have some beautiful furniture, and reasonably priced as well. I ordered a 2 and a 3 seater leather chesterfield prior to moving home Oct 6th, to be delivered to my new address. I received a call the 1st week in August to say delivery would be Aug 20th. I explained that I couldn’t accept that delivery as I wouldn’t have the keys for the new property. Unfortunately as I live in Northern Ireland the next delivery date was today Oct 18th. I was pretty unhappy about this as I’d paid £300 for delivery and was quite short with them on the phone. Having calmed down I understand it’s not reasonable for them to make that trip every time someone from here orders for 1 delivery (the guys were heading to Cork after me, an unpleasant 6 hour drive). Received the sofas this morning. The delivery guys were excellent friendly and fast, I can’t thank them enough. The sofas look great and are very, very comfortable. I’ll update this in a year to let you know a longer term perspective. Would I recommend designersofas4U? Yes, very much so. Overall a great experience apart from when I threw my toys out of the pram about delivery dates 😂.
We ordered an Italian leather sofa and armchair in tabac brown, ordering was easy, everything happened when they said it would and the suite is beautiful, fully worth 5 stars. However, the company said that when delivery was made the courier would unpack the furniture and take the packaging away but the courier refused to do this saying it was not his job as he didn’t work for Designer Sofas so I had to do it myself and then make a trip to the local tip with a car boot full of cardboard and bubble wrap which took the shine off a little.
