Review Time
Nonstop emails, and 2 text messages. One of them was at 3AM on a Sunday morning. I won't go any further on the number of emails, or the reps name, because I don't want the rep losing their job, and I have plenty past wrongdoings I've needed someone to have mercy and overlook. The unnamed rep was so aggressive, emailing constantly, texting my private number (stating their name the same as the emails), and I assume this is an issue with the higher ups possibly telling their reps to do this. It was hard to tell, because it seemed like the rep was having fun with me after I addressed them and asked them why they continued to contact me, but I can't prove that. It very well may just be what they're told to do. It's just very inappropriate. As much as I need to save as much as possible on shipping, I'm concerned I'll start getting texts and emails again. After I finally emailed and asked why they were still contacting me they said if I wanted them to discontinue sending emails to respond and tell them. That doesn't make sense to ask a person who just expressed that they feel like they're being harassed, and are asking why they're still being contacted, to send another email to tell them that I don't want to be contacted if I don't want to be contacted. It doesn't even make sense reading it after I've typed it.The next morning I got another text to my private number a little after 8am sometime last week. Anyway, I'm only writing this because again I think it’s probably the higher ups pushing the employees to go after everyone so aggressively, and for the sake of everyone's sanity I hope the reviews here on TrustPilot will convince them to change how they do business. Harassing people doesn't get more customers. Most people avoid car dealerships because they don't want a salesman coming out to talk to them. Well, EasyShip shouldn't have any reason to have to convince anyone to use their service. It's really weird to be contacted so much via email and my private number. The savings on shipping should speak for itself if it really saves money.
They have lost at least 10 packages of mine. They lie to you on their website says 4-7 business days but it actually takes more than 1 month. This is the most ridiculous company I’ve ever used. Be aware and they never solved the issue with me. The worse shipping company ever.
I used EasyShip to ship a package to BC from Alberta. UPS dropped the package (visible drop damage on the box), and the espresso machine broke. I've started the claim on November 26th and it's now December 22nd and the claim has yet to be completed. A The unit costs as much to repair than the price I sold it it for (and cost of insurance). On top of that, customer has no repair center near them (remote area) and if they were to ship the package to me, it would cost 600 to repair (not including shipping back unit to me and then to customer). Even then, no repair shop has more than 2 of the 6 parts required for repair in stock. Somehow they insist on repair.Meanwhile , the customer is frustrated, he has a broken machine sitting there for almost a month, can't ship it back to me because it would void the claim (in case they need inspection). If you are a small business, the last thing you need are angry customers and claim process that takes a month. On their business page, they boast about their premium insurance taking 5-7 days from beginning of claim till payout, making it faster than dealing with courier company . This is deceptive marketing.I wish there was a way to NOT take insurance with them, but directly with the shipping company instead . I'm sure that UPS would not have taken a month to process the claim.I feel like their strategy is to make the claim process as long as possible so that the the seller gives up, refunds the customer, asks customer to ship back product, which basically voids the claim. If customer paid by Paypal or Credit card, they would be able to get back their money leaving you with no choice but to ask the customer to ship back and VOID the claim. I'm testing multiple companies, and I don't think I will use Easyship for items more than 100$ anymore.I'll try ShipStation next, hopefully the service is better.--Update December 28 2025--Still no response from support. I wonder how they expect a business to tell its customers to hold on a broken item and package for over a month for a claim. They should be ashamed of this level of service.
The WORST customer service imaginable. ZERO support, parcels lost due to their neglect and conversations that are borderline idiotic and always missing the point. So frustrating to work with them. If my entire fullfilment wasn't setup with their system, I would run away.
I am an ecomerce business owner that has used easyship for about a year. They are absolutely garbage and are extremely money hungry. The support is all overseas people that can't hjelp much and the site often glitches and doesn't work correctly. Please Take my advice and avoid at all costs.
The rare 1956 Buick Super upper grill trim was total wrecked in shipping. I purchased insurance, it was sent by UPS. I contacted UPS and they apologized, but told me I had to go through Easy Ship to claim back the cost of item and my shipping costs. I filed a claim with easy ship for the price of the grill trim which was $200 usd and for the cost of shipping which was $135.81 cdn for a grand total of $416.50cdnEasy ship insurance said they paid the claim and were going to credit me $280.69cdn. It showed up as a pending payment refund on my credit card and then disappeared as Easy ship did not follow through with the refund credit. They also did not refund me the shipping costs. It has been a nightmare dealing with easy ship. I just want my credit so I can a close the account. Do not deal with Easy Ship unless you want to be ripped off!!!!
I was looking for a new company to ship with a few days ago. They decided to text and email me at nearly midnight last night. I asked them to take me off their list but they proceeded to text me again this morning and send two emails. It's not even noon yet! This doesn't even seem like a legit company at this point. I will not be doing business with them and would not recommend it to others.EDIT: I had someone kindly reach out and they have now switched their process so they won't contact customers late at night in their time zone. They also offered a credit, which I appreciate. However, I will not be using this company after my experience and reading other reviews.
Stay away from easyship because you will get unjust courier adjustments (after you buy labels through easyship, UPS and FedEx will charge you more for the shipments). The easyship calculation algorithm is not aligned with what the actual courier intends to charge. This month, we received hundreds of dollars of adjustments for UPS. However, the adjustment dimensions and weights that the courier is citing, MATCH what we originally entered into easyship when we bought the labels. My constant request for assistance on these charges result in a response from easyship to provide proof which are "photos of the weight and dimensions of the package before I shipped them". The point here is that even if I did that, I will still be providing the EXACT same weight and dimensions that I originally inputted when I bought the labels. They encourage you to "mock up" the same size box and weight and measure it for these photos (obvisouly, nobody takes photos of their parcels before they ship). So, I flat out refuse to do this and explain to them that there is something wrong with their platform because of the discrepancy between their rates and the rates that the courier figures out later when they process the packages. So, their response back was the UPS charges were "out of area" charges... well, I ran the addresses through UPS carrier sites and they do not qualify for out of area upcharges. The bottom line is, STAY AWAY from easyship, Yes the rates you get will be great, but it is NOT the case. Like the shipment that easyshuip let me buy for a $33 FedEx 2nd day air shipment that went to Alaska, well, FedEx now wants nearly $300 that they charged directly to my account. The weights and measurements that FedEx is citing DO NOT conflict with my original weights and measurements that I supplied to easyship when I bought the label. SO easyship is a fraud - if they are re-selling probably milllions of dollars of labels.... WHY don't they adopt the exact pricing algorithm that the carriers are implementing ? The practice of selling these labels at these cheap prices is down right fraudulent. Like I said, NONE of my weights and dimensions differ in ANY of the dozens of adjustments. MOVE OVER TO PIRATESHIP - I get NO adjustments over there.
I initially was happy with the easyship services and was regularly shipping items. But then I got to experience the customer service and it killed the whole experience... My issue: abnormally high duty & tax fees for shipments to the US were applied to my packages (about 4 times the amount of the items value). All of them were of course refused by the customers, so I lost the value of the items and the shipping costs. The "contact person" at Easyship was not able to retrieve the most basic information about these shipments and kept misunderstanding the issue (felt like I was talking to an AI). I escalated the issue in a new ticket and got an answer from the "Customer service manager" who suggested a refund for one package. I have been waiting for that refund for weeks. This person has stopped answering my emails since and I am back writing to an AI... I had to investigate on the matter myself and discovered that the incorrect customs classifications were applied ("Made in China" but I am shipping out of Europe, "Raw steel" but I am shipping finished products...). Major mistake from Easyship and they won't recognise it.As a small entrepreneur this kills the whole business. You urgently need to improve customer service if you want to keep your customers. I have stopped using Easyship and I will certainly not recommend it to others unless I see a significant improvement here.
