DO NOT USE!!! AVOID! Terrible customer service, if any. They don't reply to the emails (already emailed 3x and nothing but interestingly enough if you need locksmith they reply within few minutes) and they are totally overcharging for 10 min job. Not given options of locks, they will give you the most expensive product. Stay away from them. They should stop doing what they are doing!!! No help at all.
DO NOT USE!Charged a call out cost when the website says it doesn't, as everyone has said drilled out the lock then went on to tell us of the other charges to replace.When I (a women) challenged I was told that my husband was weak fortunately I have it all recorded and will happily share. Wish I had read the reviews before proceeding.
Please do not use these people. They quoted £160 to replace a lock and then used intimidation to get £537 from a vulnerable young girl who was really scared in Edinburgh. Have tried to contact them and no one responds, its despicable taking advantage of a vulnerable situation and dangerous individuals
Called these guys as I left my keys in the house. Only a simple yale to break into. I was told 30-40 minutes call out time. £39 if it was a consultation or from £49 if labour was chosen. If I had the tools, which I didn’t as I was locked out, it was a simple, take door post off to access the Yale locking mechanism. Hammer in a screwdriver and put weight on the door. But oh no, these foreign speaking guys called me back. The other ‘local’ guy had an accident so another guy would come 70 miles from Edinburgh. I explained to him that I wouldn’t pay him any more than £49 as it was such an easy job. But he insisted it would need drilled and that would cost around £150. I told him to shove it where the sun don’t shine. Then I knocked a few neighbours doors. Got a hammer and screwdriver and was in my house within 5 minutes. These guys will con you into thinking it’s a really hard job. Avoid these scammers like the plague. Karma always comes around to conmen.
STAY CLEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!These people will rob you left right and centre!! From saying over the phone the call-out would be £49 to then having to pay £279 ABSOLUTE RIP OFF! The job took 10 minutes and they’ve charged so so much money.
These guys need stopping. They were unclear about pricing on the phone and continued to be vague right up until the lock was drilled, then demanded £300 without even replacing the lock! Kicking the door in would have been cheaper. Horrible people that prey on those in times of stress. Total scammers. Their site needs taking down immediately.
Locked out of my front door. Called Emergency Locksmith 24 and agreed a price of £40. The technician managed to open the the door within 2 minutes, however on competition asked for £395 sayin £40 was just for call out, £250 to complete the job and the balance was VAT. When I challenged him he got very aggressive and I felt very threatened so had no option to other to pay. When I contacted their head office that £40 call out charge changed to price starts FROM £40Stay well clear.
Old lady in our block of flats locked herself out, we called this company, they said it would be £49 and they would be here in 30 mins. Took 50 mins, and then they charged her £95. All they did was use a plastic card down the side of the door, that was it. Absolutely ripped off an old lady, who is now very upset. When she told me this I called them, and the woman who answered didn’t care at all. Don’t use this company.
REPORTED TO POLICE & TRADING STANDARDS. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Vulnerable young naive female locked out house late at night. She was a target for these guys. Advised of no call out charge as stated on website. When the guy arrived an hour later he quoted £360 which was excessive but my daughter was desperate and crying. After drilling out the lock he then advised of another £250 to put in a new lock which we since found in screw fix for £20!! After job was completed he charged her £799. When questioned he said it was a call out charge and tax! My daughter being young didn’t have any choice but to pay as the work was done and he was going to remove the lock. The next day an invoice came through and stated the same price but different breakdown. Questioned with company with no reply. On returning home that night she was locked out again. Keys didn’t work in the lock and when contacting the company they had no interest in helping her. Despite telling her she had warranty. Contacted police and trading standards who advised writing a letter of complaint - NO RESPONSE TO THIS and we are now going down the route of Trading Standards which they advised us to do if no response. WE WILL TAKE THIS ALL THE WAY!!! No hidden costs they say, No call out charge!!! Lies and they use your fear and if you’re niave they will play on that. I have screenshots of everything on their page. They also use different phone numbers every time you contact the company. DODGY! Say they’re based locally. They’re actually in London and send any random out. My daughter’s door was hacked away at. They even drilled into the frame. She now has the additional cost of fixing that too along with the additional cost of getting another locksmith to let her in the property the following night as they wouldn’t rectify the mistake. WE WILL USE SMALL CLAIMS COURT IF WE NEED TO. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
