Emma is an absolute gem! She has offered me a great meal/workout plan, which didn't restrict me at all, and allowed me to eat more than i used to on a diet. She was always available to answer any questions, and helped get me into better habits. I highly recommend trying Empower Coaching if you need a little help in your weightloss journey or training.
Emma has helped me more than words can explain with my relationship with food and my body. Prior to joining empower, I was scared to eat a lot and heavily restricted. I worked out to change my body and as a punishment. After working with Emma my mindset has completely changed. I went from aiming to eat as little as possible to now making sure I hit my calories and get all my meals in. I have exceeded my goal and and happier in my body than I have ever been. Emma is absolutely amazing! She really puts her entire energy to ensure her clients are getting the most out of their plans! She is understanding that life happens and she is there to help guide you to get back on track. She has the most delicious meal plans! They are so easy to follow and so yummy! The team at empower help you through so much, the love checking in with you and will help you even if you feel like you’re not motivated and we can all get like this at times but thankfully I had the right coaches by my side to get time though it. Committing to a new fitness program can be daunting and difficult to stick to it. Emma makes it very easy & she is incredibly adaptable to your needs and limitations. I am definitely happy with my time working with Emma & I recommend her for anyone looking to build a healthy relationship with food, fitness & overall well being.
I started my fitness journey alone for a couple years before joining Empower. I joined Empower during the pandemic lockdowns because I had gained weight and dieting was not helping me lose weight. I felt like I did not understand what my body needed to get back into shape. Within the first couple months with Emma, I dropped 6kgs (and counting). Despite this, I still get to eat chocolate and pizza. Emma taught me healthier ways to incorporate these into my diet so that I can have a BALANCED diet of healthy foods and the foods I love as well. She’s also constantly coming up with new healthier recipes for the typical “junk” food cravings (like healthier recipes for cakes, french toast, ramen, etc). This means our meal plans never get boring, and she will include things that we’re craving for as well. I was brought up in Asia and I absolutely love ramen instant noodles, so Emma gave me a healthy recipe to satisfy that craving. Her coaching style is supportive and helpful. She never scolds you for going off-plan but instead she will give you tips on how to get back on track quickly. My relationship with food has become so good since I’ve been with Emma. I don’t feel guilty for treating myself from time to time, I don’t restrict any food type from my diet, and most importantly, I feel happy with the food I eat. I’ve also learnt so much about nutrition and how to fuel myself.Not only is Emma’s coaching really good and supportive, she’s also very flexible. She’s given me both home and gym workouts based on whether I could go to the gym. She gives advice and tips on building better habits and routines as well. When my financial situation deteriorated, she was flexible and offered solutions to either freeze my Empower subscription or offer me a discount which I could continue to afford. Even while my subscription was frozen, Emma would message me once in a while to make sure I was okay and doing well. I can’t tell you how much I have enjoyed my fitness journey since I’ve joined Empower. I’ve seen results while being so happy and excited about the food I’m eating. I feel confident in my skin, and I feel content with the habits and routine I have incorporated into my life. Emma is honestly more like a life coach rather than only a fitness trainer.
Thoughtful, amazing, supportive, kind are one of the many words I would describe Emma! I have been working with Emma since around July/August and she has honestly changed my life. For the past year I have suffered with an eating disorder and wanted to heal my relationship with food and exercise for good and I found Emma and she has been the perfect person to help me do this. I was with empower for around 4 months and received the best support and advice around food, exercise and general mindset. I had a very carefully thought out exercise plan which allowed me to get back into exercising with a frozen shoulder which at times was still painful. The plan helped me return to a more frequent exercise plan without causing further injury. The nutritional support and food plans provided helped me to completely change my mindset around food and identify where I was going wrong. I thought I ate really well, a healthy diet but the plan and tutorials helped me realise the benefits of a well balanced diet and in particular the role of protein something I ate very little of. The meal ideas were creative, tasty and filling they taught me how to creatively incorporate each food group especially protein as I would often go days without any substantial amount of protein. Overall it has been an education and Emma and her team were always quick to respond and offer advice or encouragement. I would highly recommend Empower to anyone.
I have been working with Emma for 7 month’s and I have recently stated my reverse diet. I went from 74kg down to 57kg, having such a thoughtful meal plan which included all my favourite foods made it so easy to stick to a calorie deficit. However even tho I was in a deficit Emma changed my mentality around going out and still being able to enjoy going out for meals and drinks without waking up the next morning and feeling like I’ve ruined my progress. Along with the great meal plan the workout plans are so well detailed that I knew exactly what to do and the videos attached are also so helpful especially when I first started my plan it meant I was able to see exactly how to perform an exercise. Along with this I have found the way Emma communicates with me over the app so helpful she is always there for a chat if I’m struggling. Especially recently going through a few hard experiences Emma was there to help make sure I looked after myself physically and mentally. I have honestly made so much progress and could not be happier! Thank you Emma and the empower team!💓
“I have been with Emma and Empower since April this year and honestly it has been the best thing I have done for myself and I have not regretted this decision once 💖. I have been always lacking of confidence and struggling with my body image in the past. I was following silly fad diets and working out quite a lot but with no visible results on the outside as well as more importantly on the inside . I came across Emma’s profile on Instagram and literally I applied to work with her. I am constantly receiving nutritional and fitness related knowledge from her.
