Unregulated Financial Bully - No appeal process -No CCTV unable to tell me how I paid cash or card v

This company has a less-than-poor way of taking phonecalls or email queries, one star is too much.£29.97 of fuel plus £60 forecourteye admin chargeThe first customer service agent at Forecourteye, in my case, put the phone down on me. I stated I had received a letter from them, dated just after I had left for a two-week break, regarding unpaid petrol at WINSTON. I have never been to WINSTON a north of England town so immediatly I assumed they had made a mistake.I believed their letter was a mistake so I wanted to see the CCTV which they refused to offer me.They were rude just saying I had to pay their Admin charge or it would increase to £60! They could not tell me if I had paid cash or attempted so by card. I do not keep petrol receipts and have no reason to so I thought again the small amount of fuel of £29.97 was paid in cash or a card machine had a technical error. They had no interest in helping me understand quickly what had happened several weeks ago when they sent me a photo of a car being filled with fuel.RONTEC in Watford operate the Esso garages and instruct forecourteye operate to recover unpaid fuel.People who deliberately steal fuel would fill up their car to the top, perhaps fill extra fuel containers, using a vehicle not registered to them and avoid being caught. Therefore they rely on bully tactics as they are not regulated so are no accountable to a professional body. I did none of these things, which allows forecourt to bully innocent consumers when mistakes by consumers or perhaps a failed card transaction happen. I read other examples online about how impossible it is to communicate with staff at Forecourt eye.I reccomend contact the garage direct and Rontec. They threaten debt collectors which I understand they are not regulated to do by FCA and bully by threats of stopping the customer from using petrol stations by adding them to a database even when their is an ongoing query over a small amount of £29.97 that can resolved in a few minutes. Complain to RONTEC as they are who you are buying the petrol from

Terrible Service Company

Worst company ever dealt with no sympathy or understanding with this and would report if possible as not able to provide clear evidence

Ridiculous companies like this should be shut down!!

Absolutely outrageous administration fee I basically had to pay for the fuel and 100% administration fee so I paid double what was owed which I think is absolutely ridiculous

Not humans, just morons

I received my letter and I emailed and advised the £35 administration fee was not reflective of the admin required, I was willing to pay and went to the petrol station to pay it, but. sadly I had to deal with these morons. I then went away whilst waiting for their email response by which time my admin fee had doubled. What a miserable life they must lead, no human touch, no understanding just out there to squeeze unnecessary money out of people. What a career for these people on the other end of the phone, hope they take care of their wellbeing.

Terrible company

Terrible company. Shell's network failed to our fuel card provider, which has been confirmed by the provider. I kindly asked them to remove the administration charge due to it being no fault of our own, the admin from the business very rudely instead put the admin charge up and told us it's not their problem, even when I asked them to redirect the cost to the garage. You can tell that the administrators do not put their names on responses for this reason.

Wellingborough Tesco

Following receipt of a notification regarding an alleged incident of theft, I contacted your organization today to address the matter. Photographic evidence exists that supports my claim of payment at the time of the incident, suggesting a malfunction of the payment processing system. During the call, the background noise, including loud music and unprofessional conversation, significantly impaired effective communication. Despite my attempts to address the issue, the disruptive environment persisted. Subsequently, I was informed of a four-day payment deadline, which I find unreasonable given the recent receipt of the notification. The response from the representative, including the threat of bailiff action, was highly inappropriate. Furthermore, the lack of managerial oversight and the questionable identification of the representative raise serious concerns. Consequently, I am pursuing further action by contacting the authorities and will remit the payment directly to Tesco Wellingborough.

Plates stolen off the vehicle - call 0113 887 4870

Plates stolen off the vehicle, put onto another of very similar type which then tanked 2 days later thank you very much no questions asked...Except that the plates were reported stolen to the Police the day after they were stolen.Letter from these vultures arrived 3 weeks after that making a range of threats including:- you won't be able to buy fuel (false);- you have been added to a national (private) database of fuel thieves (really? does this actually exist?); and- our debt collectors will be around to take away your children (well, good luck with that).BUT call 0113 887 4870 (this number is in their Terms & Conditions) and gave them the crime number and the Police force that issued the crime number and the matter is closed with no further action. But for "no further action" include "we won't report back to the police either".Whether the national database is fixed or not is another matter. So for 3 starts read:- pain in the a**e (the fault was with the thieves who stole the plates deliberately to thieve the fuel);- threatening letter (true to type for a quasi-debt collection operation);- no clear phone number on the threatening letter;- but on the other hand they did remove the case without question.Moral of the story:- Report the theft of plates to the police- Don't be hoodwinked into paying- Call and challenge the threatening letter

Company made it impossible to pay

⭐️⭐️I found it incredibly difficult to make a payment from my phone — trying to call the company was practically impossible. I eventually had to switch to another device just to complete the payment. I had been expecting to be charged £10, but it turned out to only be £4, so in the end it wasn’t as bad as I thought.

should not be allowed to trade

I was going to write a review explaining my experience with this company but upon reading other reviews it seem that there are countless people who have experience the problem I had, shocking customer service with no option to appeal or explain yourself, just made to feel like your a criminal and have to cough up 35 quid for the pleasure
