I received a letter informing me I had not paid £15 for my fuel. I actually went into the petrol station and I thought I’d paid it but didn’t realise it hadn’t gone through. If I’d received a letter stating that’s what had happened I would have gone straight into the station and paid but I object to the admin fee of £35 when I didn’t realise and went into pay!!! It’s disgraceful as it’s too much
Aggressive communication with completely false accusation. Pictures of me fuelling a petrol car with a drive away claim for diesel. Tesco station log shows I paid for petrol on date/time stated, as does my bank debit card log. Tesco apologised ‘It happens all the time’ and told me they’d cancel the claim. Of course, ten days later yet another aggressive letter of claim.
A total shower or utter incompetence!!! Starts with a threatening letter, saying we’d not paid for fuel some 250 miles away. No ability or link in the correspondence they send to highlight they are wrong and challenge. They attach your vehicle (incorrectly to a database of unpaid debt) they lack any ethics, integrity or professionalism. The CCTV they sent clearly shows a Citroen, we own a Ford and they’ve stated Fors in their letter! The CCTV attached to the the threatening and demanding letter is so pathetic nobody on this planet could decipher the registration. When we have highlighted that, they refuse to drop the matter unless we report a crime of cloning our number plate!?!?! You could not make it up. Their levels of incompetence are dangerous.
The worst experience I was sent a fine for not paying for fuel,I wasn't aware that my card hadn't gone through, also wasn't advised by shell staff member at the till. Forecourt eye sent me a letter for the £20 fuel with £35 admin fee added, stating I had tried to steal fuel, I went into the garage to buy a coffee and pay for the fuel, if I was told the payment didn't go through I would of paid with a different card, I had good intentions to pay. I have been trying to dispute the charge and offered so many times to pay for the fuel. Ive also asked for cctv to show that I was informed my payment hadnt gone through, they refused to provide this. instead increased the fee to £120 and passed my details onto trace debt agency. I have asked for a break down to show what this £120 admin fee actually covers and I have continued to offer to pay for the fuel. I have spoken to shell garage who will not allow me to pay for the fuel and say I need to pay forecourt eye. I have also offered to pay the original £35 admin fee as a good will gesture, just to try and get this issue sorted, but forecourt eye say I owe them £120 admin fee now.Has anyone else experienced these issues from forecourt eye? how can they make me pay a fine of £120 on £20 of miss payment for fuel.
Received a threatening letter from Forecourt Eye about unpaid fuel. Not in a million years would I knowingly not pay for something and walk away. I went to the till, purchasing other items, stated my pump number. The cashier was struggling with lottery tickets and had to get another member of staff to help. I paid via my phone and assumed I had paid in full. There was clearly a cashier error and the wrong amount was processed. There is no appeals procedure and they ignore emails and aren’t helpful at all in the phone. I’m happy to pay the difference but not their admin fee as it wasn’t my fault. If I had received a letter from Tesco I would have promptly gone in store the pay the difference. I won’t be shopping at Tesco or Shell ever again and they need to think about how they treat honest customers.
I had a very disappointing experience with Forecourt Eye. I accidentally drove off without paying at Shell Fabian Way, but as soon as I realised (within around 40 minutes), I called the station immediately and returned straight away to pay. When I got back, the staff told me they had already created a Forecourt Eye incident and refused to take my payment. The photos and evidence logged by Forecourt Eye were actually taken when I was back at the station trying to pay, not when I supposedly “left without payment”.Despite me doing everything responsibly — calling immediately, returning straight away, and attempting to pay in person Forecourt Eye still insisted on adding an unfair £15 administration fee on top of the fuel cost. This feels unreasonable and completely ignores the fact that I acted in good faith and tried to resolve the issue right away.Instead of acknowledging my quick return and genuine effort to pay, they treated it like a full drive-off case. Very frustrating and not customer-friendly at all.
Absolutely disgusting company as with other people pictures of me in the shop making the payment I'm told it's my fault and I should have waited to make sure that that payment had gone through instead of relying on what shop assistants are supposed to do which is tell you card declined, benter pin.number etc talking to an absolute mindless automaton on the phone shocking outfit
Absolute scum of the earth.Unwilling to listen to what actually happened. Send envelopes through post that look like junk mail. Like the parking scammers they are scum. You should be ashamed of yourselves!! Further searches at Companies House will show you who the directors are and what other business they are involved in. You wouldnt be surprised to find out they have their fingers in the parking game as well. This needs to be stopped. .Please lodge your complaints with Trading Standards and the Financial Ombudsman. This would be a classic for the Jeremy Vine show or similar.
Very similar to all others. My son received a letter form Forecourt Eye stating he had not paid for £23.01 fuel on 18.9.25. He had gone to the cashier and told him the pump number. Then grabbed some food. The cashier did not ring up the fuel just the food items. My son's phone was not charged so he used a bank card. Did not get a receipt and left. Was not aware that the cahier did not include the fuel when he 'tapped' as my son had asked. We offered to pay for the fuel and disputed the £35 admin charge as feel strongly it was a cashier error. My son no longer has this car so getting more fuel is not an issue as they threaten in their letter! Whilst disputing the admin charge it has now risen to £60 as we have gone past the 14 days despite me pointing out the letter was dated 16.10.25 but took a week to get to us and we were in email discussions disputing the fee. I feel very strongly they are a rogue company that just scam money from anyone! If we don't pay the now £83.01 charge they will pass our debt to debt collectors.
I wish I could give this company somewhere below even 0. This is fraud company trying to scam people with their admin fee of 200 pounds and which will be increasing to 100 pound extra if you have not paid straight away . Secondly they don’t even give any time to investigate the incident legally. Don’t use any shell service stations as they are trapping innocent people to show at the till the payment has been made but then after 4 weeks they will send letter that you left the service station without paying . Even you provide proof of Receipt they will still blame you and nickel the money to pleased their workers . Big scammers and thief’s this company also the shell service station Kennford Exeter.
