I just purchased Hats and Caps ultra-stylish sur la tête Women's Traveller Packable Sun Hat in shade Natural and paid for next day delivery. Arrived with a courier superbly and carefully packaged, and is a joy to behold and an absolute pleasure to wear. So very flattering, and I didn't actually need to tighten the inner brim ribbon for it to fit perfectly on my head to give brilliant coverage shade, both over my eyes and at the back of my neck (hugely important!). And yes, it does indeed flatten down into sort of tube shape, secured with the straw band that surrounds the crown of this hat. So totally perfect for packing in a suitcase when one is travelling on a plane or just popping in one's overnight bag for a weekender locally.I can't sing the praises of this hat highly enough, and urge everyone who wants a practical, lightweight and elegant sunhat to buy this item!
This has to be one of the best companies I've ever dealt with, first of all, the hat is so well made, and so comfortable, I ordered a hat that was too big, but the exchange policy is so simple, accompanied by a customer service second to none, I never knew buying a hat could be such a pleasure, but this company made it so, and when I do want or need another hat, there's only one place I'll be buying from, I for one recommend Village Hats

Just received my trilby,,,, it’s absolutely blooming marvellous,,, better than I ever imagined,,, The dispatch time was instant, the service department brilliant, I made a mistake with my email address but sure enough within the hour it was sorted AND delivery time was outstanding considering it was over a Bank holiday weekend,,, I have no problem in recommending and ordering again from this impressive company,,, thank you J&J 👌
The quality, shape, etc. of my hat looked great in the pictures but you never know for sure until it's in your hands. It arrived swiftly (ordered Monday and arrived Wednesday) and I couldn't be more happy. Definitely great quality and it looks great on. Going through a very stressful period, but the hat certainly made me smile.

It’s been some years since ordering from this company but all my transactions went relatively okay. However, there were some customer service issues that put me off from becoming a loyal customer.1) I have the strong belief that no two ‘identical’ products are exactly the same. When it comes to clothing and accessories, I am rarely proven wrong. In the case of headwear, I’ve always found that one product fits my head better than another identical product in the same size and colour. When I ordered from this company, I ordered two of everything, just to be on the safe side. This is where things got weird...Every single time, the company phoned me to check that I hadn’t made a mistake with my order! No other company has ever done that with me for online orders. Naturally, I found the experience very annoying, especially when two (seemingly) identical hats can fit very differently on the same head.2) Unless faulty, returns aren’t free… which makes the previous point even more annoying. If I’m paying for returns, why should it matter if I order multiple items in the same size?Having to pay for returns is one thing, but the company’s ‘nanny state’ style of its customer service was very off-putting.
