We will never use K&N again. Shipping 3 pallets to France we were told that the pallets had 'dropped off the tracking' then 'the pallets are in our overseas warehouse' then 'they are in France awaiting customs' etc etc. The pallets were in Nottingham and had not moved. Our account manager blamed all of this on misreading the internal tracking and sent us an extract from the T&C's saying that were not responsible for the delays. Nothing but a pack of lies - shameful customer service!!
Please do not use this company, that is unless you want to lose your valuable clients.. the whole experience is very stressful next day deliveries seem frequently get lost and turn up maybe a week later. Customer service is also horrendous, your query/complaint is like a hot potato and gets passed around for days...AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Avoid using these guys at all costs. I've been waiting to load for 3 hours, they have no clue how many wagons are here, or how many they need to load. They have no clue what orders are going out from here. I've never been to such a poorly run delivery company.They don't care about your needs. DO NOT USE THEM!!
Shocking service. My pallet has been sitting in their Nottingham depot for well over a week although it should be a 48 hour service. They keep knocking back the arrival date and it won't surprise me if it's going to leave me without the delivery over Christmas even though it's vital to my business that it arrives. Zero response from phones or email. Please choose a different courier.
Kuehne and Nagel were employed by Beliani.fr from whom I ordered a bed. Beliani told us the bed was collected by K+N (Kuehne and Nagel) and it would be delivered within a week. Two or three weeks passed and there was no delivery. When we inquired at Beliani where the bed is they told us to contact K+N, we did that and they said they would come back to us. They never did, but they sent an email to say the bed is with their sub contractor delivery firm in a village 20 kms away from us. We called that subcontractor but the number was no longer valid. We called K+N they gave us another number to call which didn't exist, and again we called them they gave us a different number. My husband and I drove to that sub contractor, address given on google, but the premises were shut for good, no business was operating from there. When we called K+N they fobbed us off with another excuse, one being that the bed is near Annecy, some 400 km away from us. We called Beliani and said to them that we are cancelling the order with them. That is when things started happening and we received our bed. The experience of dealing with K+N was something never to be repeated again. We don't understand why sellers employ this time wasting transport company.
The service has never been great from this company - I would say about 20% of their delivery team are helpful the rest are just rude and aggressive. I get all the empties ready for them each week and help take in the delivery to speed it up. They never take the same amount of empties that they deliver but will argue with you about it - maybe they failed maths - who knows! You book in uplifts, the drivers rarely take them until you have complained several times, but mention you will leave them for scrap if nobody collects them and they get shrill! Also why do they never take empty 9G or 20L kegs. Won't take certain kegs 'because we don't deliver them' even though you are now are only beer provider so obviously do. They constantly now fail to deliver on delivery day so I have to give up days off to be here and then they arrive late - ok fair enough issues at the minute with petrol, gas etc I get it but seriously as a company you should be ashamed of the 'service' you provide for paying customers - truly shocking!
I recently ordered a book shelf. When the received the delivery, I noted that in addition to the package part of the shelf was chipped. I refused the delivery on Tuesday. On Thursday, the delivery driver calls me 3 times to check if can come into the street, can he park, requested I ask my neigbour move the car. Delivers the same package I had refused in less than 2 minutes and was off. I only noticed after he had left that the package was turned away and I couldn't see the damaged side.When I called immediately, the driver who couldn't do much, advised me to call the "office". When I finally reached them over the phone, the person on the other end of the phone very assertively explained to me I should call the delivery company and explain the situtation. If I request them to remove the damaged sheld, I will have to pay. Rather explanied what I should do - write, complain and coordinate.It became my problem to solve. The company, from whom I had ordered called and asked me why I accepted an already refused package. I didn't see is the answer. I would like to know, what is Kuehne + Nagel doing delivering an already refused package 3 days later!!!Bad service!!!J'ai récemment commandé une étagère à livres. Lorsque j'ai reçu la livraison, j'ai constaté qu'en plus du colis, une partie de l'étagère était ébréchée. J'ai refusé la livraison le mardi. Le jeudi, le livreur m'appelle 3 fois pour vérifier s'il peut entrer dans la rue, s'il peut se garer, me demande de demander à mon voisin de déplacer la voiture - ce qui était très stressant. Il a livré le même paquet que j'avais refusé en moins de 2 minutes et est parti. Je n'ai remarqué qu'après son départ que le colis était retourné et que je ne pouvais pas voir le côté endommagé.Lorsque j'ai appelé immédiatement, le chauffeur, qui ne pouvait pas faire grand-chose, m'a conseillé d'appeler le "bureau". Lorsque j'ai finalement réussi à les joindre par téléphone, la personne à l'autre bout du fil m'a expliqué avec beaucoup d'assurance que je devais appeler la société de livraison et lui expliquer la situation. Si je leur demande d'enlever le bois endommagé, je devrai payer. Il m'a plutôt expliqué ce que je devais faire - écrire, me plaindre et coordonner.C'est devenu mon problème à résoudre. La société à laquelle j'avais commandé m'a appelé et m'a demandé pourquoi j'avais accepté un colis déjà refusé. Je n'ai pas compris la réponse. J'aimerais comprendre ce que fait Kuehne + Nagel en livrant un colis déjà refusé 3 jours plus tard !!!Mauvais service
Please, if you can, DON’T use this company! I’ve been trying to get a very important shipment out of customs now for almost a month and NOTHING is happening. There was a discrepancy with some numbers on the freight bill, but as long as you don’t investigate this yourself, nobody from Kuehne + Nagel will contact you about this. Your order is just left standing there without anybody taking any action.Weeks go by without any response or action being taken. It is all up to you to get things going.When I finally got an invoice from them, they promised me that if I send prove of payment it would make things go quicker. But wrong again…… they still wait until the payment has gone through before shipping it.I will NEVER do business with them ever again!
