This company used to have a good website. I used them in the past few times and was very satisfied. They changed everything and now only allow to schedule an appointment. No history no other info no way to edit linked accounts etc. and link to start the visit arrives to my phone. Customer support is useless. What happened to them and why they decided to redesign a working process???
Livehealthonline just sent me an email: "Choose a doctor and see the same doctor every time" but you can't pick your doctor anymore. I was excited that they may have finally fixed the problem of not being able to pick your doctor but you still cannot pick your doctor. Do they realize that it isn't working since the upgrade? I think the problem is that Amwell sends out these emails as indicted at the bottom of the email and at Amwell you can pick your own doctor. Livehealthonline does use Amwell's program but Livehealthonline modified it so Livehealthonline doesn't allow you to pick the docto anymorer. They need to fix this problem before more and more people stop using it. I have stopped using it and so have a lot of other people. Just but it back the way you had it before the upgrade on Dec 28...it worked fine until then.
I've honestly NEVER had a more terrible experience! I had to reschedule my visit 4 times bc of their new platform, Sydney, not connecting me correctly. Then they charged me full price for the appt. instead of charging my insurance company and last but not least, the doctor has yet to follow through on writing me the note I need for work after we spoke for an hour and she stated that I'd have the document within 24 hours. It's been a week now and I have yet to see it. Also, their customer service has no authority to really help patients and only "escalate" your problem to someone else who never actually calls you back like they say they're going too. I will NEVER use them again.
I had a good experience with app and service in 2023, however have run into some trouble in 2024. I was charged full price for my first visit in jan (visit is supposed to be $0). It didn't go through my insurance ,even though my insurance is saved in the app. I called next day and got a case created for the refund. It's been 2 weeks and I still haven't received a refund. I've called support a few times. They are very friendly, but it seems like they are under staffed.
I would give them a zero if allowed. This used to be a decent way to deal with low level medical issues. However the last couple of visits have been terrible. I basically paid for nothing and had to go to urgent care directly after, pay again and then receive the antibiotics/steroids necessary as I have chronic bronchitis. When you get bronchitis an average of two times a year for over 30 years, you know your lungs well. I also know if it goes untreated past where I currently am it will put me down for at least two weeks. The doctor stated that tele-doctors are restricted on prescriptions. If I was asking for opioids I might accept that response, but I only need my 10 day regiment of Augmentin and an oral steroid. If our old records were there for him to review, he would see my bi-annual fight with bronchitis. Pretty much the only time I am issued medication. Sorry if I fail to see this as excessive!! I will never utilize this platform again. I refuse to keep paying to be told that I should take an expectorant when I know that only prolongs my issues. I will stick to local urgent care vs. the useless platform this has become. I used to recommend it to other people, but going forward that will be a hard no.
I'm not sure how their business model is viable. I've seen 5 providers so far and the experience has frankly been terrible. The first time, the provider couldn't see me, but I still got charged a $40 no-show fee. Another provider (Gergana Dimitrova) didn't even show up to the appointment... still waiting to see if they're gonna try to charge me again. You'll get a better healthcare experience by going to McDonalds tbh.
First off there are some great providers on this app. However, since their update in Jan 2024 the app has been complete crap. My first 2 visits I got a message I wouldn’t be billed until insurance was billed. However, instead I was billed immediately after the visit despite a $0 co-pay. 2.5 weeks later and I still don’t have a refund despite calling and starting a case the next day. They have nice customer service people but they don’t seem to be able to actually do anything to help. So disappointing.
Great company. My mom and I both have Anthem and telehealth through LiveHealth came included. She used it to refill her blood pressure med when it ran out and she was assigned a new pcp that didn’t have appointments open for months. I used it to get a rx for tretinoin for my acne. It did require a prior authorization though which LiveHealth provides a number to contact for help getting. So I haven’t actually gotten the tretinoin filled yet but they took down my insurance info and told me they would email me as well as notify my pharmacy with updates.
Scheduled a 3pm appointment for today, 10 days ago. The appointment was confirmed. Today I get an email AND a text, reminding me and reconfirming the appointment. 3pm rolls around and no text or email with a link. I sign into the app and it's like I never had an appointment scheduled to begin with. Apparently they don't even tell you now when they've cancelled your appointment. Wish I could rate the service lower.
