The worst customer service and delivery experience

I purchased a 12x15 jute rug on 6.26.24. Rec’d a call from Metropolitan their 3rd party delivery service informing they would deliver the rug the week of July 8th, more specifically on Friday the 12th. Metropolitan, then called back and said the rug wasn't in their warehouse (I later learned it was in their warehouse as of the 11th) and rescheduled for the week of July 15th. On July 15th I was advised that they wont deliver until the week of the 22nd, they will not confirm a date or time and I just have to be ready for them to call sometime between July 15 and the week of July 22-27 (Mon thru Sat). So when they say they are “scheduling” you really get no say. I tried to reach out to lulu and Georgia for help but they think so highly of of their customers they do not even have a live person to help you and they further waste your time with their live chat bot who sends articles for you to read with every question. I tried emailing (no response) AND i left a one star review on their site L&G on the 15th and it was removed by the 16th (they even verified me as a buyer). Im in love with the rug but would happily give it up for a full refund (including shipping) NOT to have to deal with their incompetent delivery company - Metropolitan. Note, I tried again today with a review, we will see what happens.So disappointing. BUYER BEWARE.

zero customer service. Emailed multiple times about my light which has not shipped that was ordered 7/6. NO RESPONSE. This very light is on the site and says “in stock and ready to ship”. Ordered two pillows, only ever got one

I ordered two throw pillows. I paid $21.95 to have them shipped - and that's not even "priority". I got one pillow promptly, but I was strung along on the other one for almost a month before I finally asked them to cancel the order. The pillow was still showing up as available/in stock on their website, yet they told me when I contacted them that they could not get it from their supplier. After I cancelled the order I had to ask them to also refund some of the shipping as shipping is a sliding scale based on the amount you purchase and it wasn't fair for me to have paid based on the full amount of both pillows. I don't think I will bother doing business with them again as I think you should be able to trust that your order will ship more or less when the website says it will ship at the time you order it.

Great products and great experience

The ordering process is so pleasurable! Communication is fantastic, noitifcations are given through out the process, ending with delivery. I got all my items quickly, except for those with special shipping - and they are promised in a timely manner. But the best is how beautiful, well crafted, on trend yet timeless products everything is!

I would not recommend purchasing from Lulu and Georgia

Update:Upon posting of this review, Lulu and Georgia customer service contacted me. They began to help, but have stopped again. They agreed to give me a credit of $399.50 back to my bank and to send me the missing bed slats (which they did). However, I have yet to receive the credit amount promised. Every correspondence is through email. No one will call you back. Still no resolution.I would not recommend ordering furniture from this company. I ordered the Nabiha Platform bed, which arrived damaged and missing bed slats. I promptly contacted their customer support with pictures and videos of the damage and left a message on their automated customer service line. Additionally, the delivery company they partner with, Metropolitan Warehouse, has also made multiple attempts to reach their customer support on my behalf, including sending pictures and videos. Despite their website's claim of a 1-2 business day response time, I have received no response. I plan to dispute this with my credit card service and the Better Business Bureau.

No response from customer support

I returned a rug I ordered through Lulu and Georgia a month ago and have not received a refund or any correspondence regarding the return. I have emailed customer support multiple times and left a message on their toll free phone line, but have still not received any response. I even ordered a new rug to replace the one I sent back but I now want to cancel it as I am not convinced I will even receive it. This is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. Hopefully this gets resolved, but I doubt I will ever order from this company again.
