I ordered wallpaper swatch.It was not a good piece to use as a sample to view in the room.Was disappointed.

I Placed an order for a Havenhurst Jute…

I Placed an order for a Havenhurst Jute rug and delivery was scheduled for Friday, July 26, 2024. Metropolitan delivery contacted me that the order was still in California and would have to be tracked down to be able to send it to the Dallas area and then I would be contacted again with Expected 7 to 10 days Delivery Before arriving in the Dallas area once the item was located. This is not acceptable customer service . Paid $215 for shipping and cannot get answers regarding estimated delivery or contact Lulu in Georgia with Customer Service.

Missing parts, no one is responding to messages

I placed an order for a pendant, the box was delivered damaged and parts are missing. The $760 lamp is useless, I have tried to call, I have filled out forms twice and no one is getting back to me. The customer service is terrible. I would advise not to order from them, because you will be out of luck if something happens.

I purchased an ivory Sarah Sherman Samuel x Lulu and Georgia mirror that arrived crumbling and with brown stains on it. I am echoing other reviews that Lulu and Georgia has been very tough to get in touch with. I don’t care if a company doesn’t have a phone line if they answer email promptly! Not the case. I have no assurance that my shipping and return will be refunded with my damaged item. How hard is it to approve a return with photo evidence within 24 hours in the case of a defective item that cost over $900?

VERY DIFFICULT to get in touch with

I ordered several items from Lulu and Georgia, a bed, a rug with pad and a coffee table. After placing my order on 6/11/24 I got an estimated delivery date for the bed 2-4 weeks from the order date and 8/5-8/19 for the coffee table. There was no delivery date for the ru although the rug pad I ordered came within the week. I have emailed customer service to both the trade department (I am an interior designer) and the regular customer service email a week ago (said they would respon within 48 hrs) and then again 48 hours after that and then again yesterday to both email addresses. I have yet to reeive a response.

The worst customer service and delivery experience

I purchased a 12x15 jute rug on 6.26.24. Rec’d a call from Metropolitan their 3rd party delivery service informing they would deliver the rug the week of July 8th, more specifically on Friday the 12th. Metropolitan, then called back and said the rug wasn't in their warehouse (I later learned it was in their warehouse as of the 11th) and rescheduled for the week of July 15th. On July 15th I was advised that they wont deliver until the week of the 22nd, they will not confirm a date or time and I just have to be ready for them to call sometime between July 15 and the week of July 22-27 (Mon thru Sat). So when they say they are “scheduling” you really get no say. I tried to reach out to lulu and Georgia for help but they think so highly of of their customers they do not even have a live person to help you and they further waste your time with their live chat bot who sends articles for you to read with every question. I tried emailing (no response) AND i left a one star review on their site L&G on the 15th and it was removed by the 16th (they even verified me as a buyer). Im in love with the rug but would happily give it up for a full refund (including shipping) NOT to have to deal with their incompetent delivery company - Metropolitan. Note, I tried again today with a review, we will see what happens.So disappointing. BUYER BEWARE.
