Not recommended. Pay a little bit more and avoid the stress.I got to their website trough GOOGLE FLIGHTS, I checked for round-trip ticket, all seemed good, lower price with luggage included, then I filled all the info and asked to add my credit card, I approved the transaction and then got the error screen message, but they already took the money of my account, in the error message they said they will contact me briefly. Nothing happened. Then I checked again, price had increased 70 EUR more, still reasonable price, I tried to book it again, boom, error message again, and money gone from the bank account. It sounds stupid but I assumed that the transaction have not been cleared yet as I didn’t get any confirmation from the company neither tickets. Minutes later an executive called me on my phone, TOTALLY WEIRD, I never received a call while booking a flight online. They said they will reimbursed me the money of the first booking and proceed to send me the tickets to my e-mail of the second flight (of course the most expensive one), I agreed, luckily money was sent it back to me and tickets issued to my e-mail. Then the story got better, my flight ticket was a simple PDF file with ticket numbers and flight details (I checked with the airline, it seems okay). However, I found errors in the ticket: 2 cabin luggages of 15kg? My connection flight back home was book as a 3rd flight, this means I need to pick up my luggage and then do the check-in again in the airport running from one terminal to the other one with just a 2 hours connection flight from an 11 hours flight! There was no information that I will have to take my luggage’s on their website.Again, not recommended at all. Book through other agencies or directly with the airlines. The uncertainty that my ticket is right and won’t be cancel is still there.
i bought a flight and it worked! I wouldnt recommend anyone booking with martigo, because of all the bad reviews they have and because indeed, their communication isn’t very professional. after booking a flight from Argentina to Bolivia with them I read all the bad reviews and got extremely worried, so I called Aerolineas Argentinas to make sure my reservation was actually made with them and from then on directly recieved updates about my flight from them, what reassured me. Martigo contacted me through WhatsApp and sent me a booking confirmation (in Turkish?!) but never sent me any updates/ information about my flight or notices to do the check-in. But in the end, I got to my destination without any trouble and without paying extra. Maybe I was just lucky, but for any poor soul that has already booked their trip, there is hope!And on a site note, if google shows you that the only way to book a flight with aerolineas argentinas and BOV is with them, its not true! AA does sell these tickets on their website, even though it might be a little bit more expensive.
Scammers - not sure how Google allow them to operate. As many have attested their model is to list cheaper flights then say your request failed after you e enter your cc details so they can still registered a charge on your account. They then call and say prices have changed and you’ve got to pay more. Very unsophisticated, basic scam, zero value provided, just bottom feeders. I’d take any of the positive reviews with grain of salt.
After I booked airline tickets with Martigo (from Europe to Thailand, business class) I was a bit scared after reading negative reviews about Martigo.Neverless, everything was 5 stars, I called them, they answer in 30 seconds, the booking was perfect and hazzle free and at 50 % lower price than anyone else so I have only positive experience from Martigo and will book with them again, thank you for great service :-)
Scam business.Booked through google flights, got confirmation from Martigo, checked on Aerolineas Argentina and saw confirmation of flights. Martigo then sends me a msg via whatsapp saying "confirm within 30 mins or we will cancel your flight". Confirmed.Then they texted saying "flight error, cost is 100 euro more". Told them I was fine with my original booking, thank you. They then cancelled my reservation.Looking online, you can see that many examples of people with the same experience - this is simply how they do business. Their flights aren't cheaper, they just have an extra step to booking (which is not visible at the time of booking).Don't give them your money and inadvertently reinforce that businesses can operate this way.
We booked with martiGo as they offered a the best price on flights to Europe. After booking, the airline changed a flight time on one of the legs resulting in an 8 hour layover. I contacted martiGo asking if they could move the flight back a day to allow us to visit the city in question. After no response via email I rang and was told it couldn't be changed. Then we get to the city for the layover only to be told our flight has been moved to the next day! With no bags or accomodation we had to beg the airline to fit us onto a flight the same day, which thankfully they were able to do.In addition, my wife had to depart ahead of us on the outbound flight. I contacted martiGo numerous times asking them to cancel my wife's flight. They replied, confirming they would cancel the flight and issue a refund, but nothing ever happened. $1500 lost...
Cant fault it so far! I paid for my flights, saw an error message and then saw some reviews online and panicked that I'd made a mistake.I rang the compnay and after roughly 5 min wait I spoke to someone who was already on the case and promised to have the information sent to me in 10 minutes, which he did.The call agent was helpful and continued to give me additional info via their WhatsApp messenger. I'd prob say give whatsapp a go first, but give then 10 mins or so to respond... I was prob a bit to eager to call. After the initial worry, the experience was positive!!UPDATE: WE WENT ON THE HOLIDAY AND WE HAD NO ISSUES WHATSOEVER ! GLAD WE DIDNT PAY TOO CLOSE ATTENTION TO REVIEWS!! would use again!!
After reading the reviews I was quite a bit worried but flight booking went without a hassle at all. Even pro active whatsapp followup from the website. Quite impressed! And 50% cheaper flight than other websites. Very happy so far - but flying only next month. So fingers crossed
Like many others, got an error message after booking. Then a silent call, then a whatsapp message telling about the error and a refund. I asked for a refund and got a refund confirmation a few minutes later. I needed to book new flights elsewhere but could not do that, because they took several days to process the refund and meanwhile my credit card had not enough balance. What a farce and a hugely stressful experience. Makes you wonder what their business model is! To reserve thousands on peoples’ credit cards?
