I bought a sim card for 10 euros to get the 2 euros/month plan. After 23 days, it no longer worked. When I went back to the store, they said the sim card had gone bad and I had to buy another sim card for 10 euros---but I could get a refund if I called 3244 (all in French, but they wouldn't help me understand it since I don't speak French). Coincidentally, while I was having this problem, another woman came in with the exact same problem---she had recently purchased a sim card and it didn't work. She was also told to buy another sim card and call 3244 if she wanted a refund. They said if you can't understand the message from 3244, "get someone to help you." This is a scam. I do not recommend Free.Addendum: By the way, the "new" sim card I purchased for 10 euros also doesn't work. I still cannot receive or send calls or texts.

Free mobile service..most fraud service ever!!the name Free mobile service is just a trap. There’s nothing free inside this sim card. Infact the company charges you too much for not so worth services. None the people speak english so there a bad quality customer service. The working people in the service center are often rude to the foreign customers. So in future if you want to stop the services they are not so supportive to process your things. Also they put your payments on autopay and if you want to cancel the autopay they dont have facilities to stop that from themselves. Rather they advice us to ask our banks to stop auto pay option..how uncomfortable ! So I would just say never…never ever go for this company for sim services.

Same experience as many people here. Was working in France for 6 months and used the 19.99 euro sim card (210GB). All well and good until I needed to cancel. It's impossible to cancel on their website, phone line was busy at the time so I came into the store to do it there. I was then given a letter which I had to fill out and post in order to cancel..?? A few days after sending, I was contacted by Free to say that they were unable to cancel my contract as my request was submitted "anonymously" (appaerently you're supposed to put the sender details on the envolope, SORRY France). I was pretty annoyed as I'd wasted my time and the 5+ euros I spent on expedited delivery. I was finally able to get through to them on the phone some time later, and had to jump through a million hoops in order to be connected with the correct department. Good luck if you don't speak English by the way - my French is limited but functional, so I was just about able to navigate through the automated service. After finally getting through to a human being, I asked them to cancel my contract, as by this point I had already been debited again for the next month. This woman seemed like she'd dedicated her life to stopping people from cancelling contracts, she would not give up!! She even suggested (and I laugh as I type this) "giving my sim card to a friend I might have in France" (ridiculous in itself)...but it was even after I had mentioned that I had already returned home to the UK!! After I kept insisting that I wasn't in France anymore so didn't need the card, I was told give proof that I was leaving the country - I was asked to attach proof of accomodation, travel tickets, and my new job contract?? I wasn't leaving France for work, I was GOING HOME!! Despite all this, it still hasn't been cancelled (31/05/23), so now I've just blocked my bank card (La Banque Postale) so good luck to them trying to get their mitts on any more of my money. I almost look forward to the emails saying that they couldn't take the payment from my account hahah. Obviously it's annoying that I even have to do that in the first place, but I guess that's my only option at this point. I just wish I had done that sooner instead of wasting my time, money and mental sanity on trying to cancel through them.
