Terrible Company with Awful Customer…

Terrible Company with Awful Customer Service.This company are on the make. I paid £10 delivery charges for toilet hinges that could have been sent for £1.40. I opened the pack to discover they were the wrong ones so asked for a refund. I was told this was not possible as the pack had been opened and so £50 later (for them) I am left with 2 useless hinges. These hinges I have since discovered are widely available at £20 elsewhere on the internet. Their customer service policies are self serving and a complete rip off. Avoid them.

Don't buy from these people ...

Don't buy from these people- we bought a Duravit toilet seat for £150(!) less than 18 months ago and about 6 weeks ago it broke. They say we damaged it (we didn't - had a previous identical one for about 8 years with no issues, just discoloured) and won't enter into any further correspondence. They didn't even bother to reply to letters sent by 'Signed For' post.We were told warranty issues after 30 days (!) were direct with the manufacturer, Duravit, but when we called them, they said Mytoiletspares were not authorised dealers, so no warranty.If I bought a £15 seat from B&Q it would last years, and we had a reasonable expectation of some durability from a seat costing £150, which has not been the case, and Mytoiletspares have just washed their hands of it (no joke intended) after charging us this huge amount of money for an obviously faulty toilet seat & cover. Would not recommend buying from this company or from Duravit, better off with something cheap that will last.

I have been dealing wirh them this…

I have been dealing wirh them this morning. Very rude and unhelpful as I phoned to inform them that I had a problem with a toilet seat I puchased from them last week. It was fitted late yesterday and this morning in the daylight we could see 3 but now I have found 4 dents in the seat which are clearly manufacturing flaws not easily noticeable when I checked it in the box. I was told it couldnt be replaced due to hygiene purposes which I suppose was me being honest. I could have said it hadnt been fitted yet! However the hygiene argument does not stack up as this seat should not be sold to another gullible customer as it is faulty and flawed! I asked instead for some monetary compensatio.n as this was a £100 loo seat and told rudely that there would be none as my plumber could have damaged it! If I had found the flaws on delivery then presumably they would have said the same rhat I could have damaged it myself!!! I am extremely disgusted at the way I was treated and last week when they wanted my money they were falling over themselves to match the price of their rival site. Now I know why!!!! Avoid this lot and go to toiletspares.co.uk their rivals!!!! Not even an apology for damaged goods so £100 might as well have burned it. Our previous seat which has wear & tear has been in place 14 years so this company clearly deal with damaged/faulty seconds to try and compete on price so please if you can go elsewhere.

Prompt, efficient and courteous service from MTS

I bought a couple of items to replace parts in an older concealed flush cistern, which were otherwise impossible to source; even two plumbers that came to take a look had struggled to identify a source for the items. The parts were despatched promptly to me, and work perfectly. I have saved myself a considerable plumbing bill as a consequence. Also, when I contacted MTS by phone and email, the individuals with whom I communicated were courteous and efficient. I would recommend MTS without reservation.

At least I obtained a refund

At least I obtained a refund. This company kept saying they had the toilet seat in stock and would dispatch today and deliver shortly. Never happened. After an order on 21st Feb I eventually obtained a refund on 7th April after several phone calls chasing delivery.
