Not happy at all. UPS put my package in one of these and I don’t even have one of these registered in my name. When I called customer service they said I’d only be able to get my package if I registered for an account. I don’t think it’s right at all that my package was put into their box with out my approval and then they want to charge me just to get it. I don’t want to use their service, and I refuse to pay for a service so useless
Worst, worst, worst. This service has costed me thousands upon thousands of dollars in deliveries per Coronavirus pandemic in which I have preexisting conditions and am vulnerable and also cannot risk my life to get packages out of these unsanitary communal lockers out by a few blocks from me within this apartment complex. Package concierge has given me nightmares, mental panic and anxiety - Not Coronavirus. Package Concierge. Since all supplies goes here and I never can get it. Over thirty packages. It’s a living nightmare and complete and utter breakdown in the supply chain and ultimately, a horrifying, horrifying torturous disaster of a jail cell for any assistance and aid I paid thousands upon thousands to have delivered to me. This is the only thing I hate in the world right now besides this virus, is this service. Bc if Coronavirus doesn’t get me, this will be why I could die during this time.
Courier delivered a package and it did not show up anywhere in the system. I wasted two days tracking it through the courier. Then I had to ask the apartment complex management to open ALL the lockers. My package was there, but again, it had not been logged in anywhere. I contacted Package Concierge support (2 e-mails, 2 calls), no one got back to me. The system is worse than useless - it is detrimental if it allows the couriers to deliver packages without logging them in. This package contained medical supplies including filters for a breathing machine, so it was vital to receive it on time.
In addition to the $5 monthly fee this company charge, they collect huge additional revenue from charging late fees to users that have not picked up their packages within 3 days. If you travel a lot, you can quickly rack up very significant late charges. The company does allow you to turn on a function notifying them that you will be on vacation but the function is not available on the app and is only buried in the fine print of their website. Also, when you are traveling, having to turn the vacation mode on/off is a huge inconvenience & something you are likely to forget, which is what they hope. Along with several other tenants, I am lobbying my apartment complex to stop using package concierge. Greedy company that takes advantage of people
This is the third time I've had issues with package concierge. Packages will be delivered, but they're in incorrect lockers, so I don't have access to retrieve my packages. Customer service says there's nothing they can do, and can't open random lockers to see if my packages are in there. Soooo bye bye to my packages when someone else has access to that locker! DO NOT USE!!
In theory I can understand how this service would be useful. In practice you end up having your packages held hostage by a glorified locker 4 out of 5 times. I legitimately don't understand how such a simple system can so consistently get jammed. The only "fix" they'll offer is for you to go to your leasing office so your property manager can physically unlock it for you... entirely defeating the purpose for this to exist.
They keep accepting my packages into their Package Disaster even though I'm not registered for it (because I don't accept their Terms of Use and their reputation is 0/5). What gives them any right to accept my packages and keep them from me until I have to beg my building's management to retrieve them from the Disaster?NOTE: Watch out for Fake 5-star reviews being generated by this company, they're not below doing anything super-shady. Check out their reputation on GlassDoor and you will see what former employees say about how unscrupulous the management AND employees are. No, thanks, get this sh**ty box out of my apartment complex!
Just moved in to a new apartment complex which uses Package Concierge... This 'service' provided me with the wrong shipping address so after 6 days of re-routing many packages to the correct address, I'm still trying to get refunds for my lost packages bc of my 'non-existing' address. I have yet to experience a successful delivery, meanwhile I'm being charged for using their 'service'. Also their customer service is NOT helpful and they just blame the leasing office.
