We initiated an exchange for a different ring size immediately after opening, suspecting they sent us the wrong size vs what we ordered. The ring we got back was the same incorrect size - we had it measured to confirm. When we contacted them about it, not only did they acknowledge they had in fact sent us back the exact same ring, not a different size and still the wrong size from what we ordered, they also would not do anything to make it right because they had already “done an exchange” in their system. So now we are stuck with the wrong size ring that was never actually exchanged in the first place and this company refuses to do anything to fix this. This company is dishonest, does not care about their customer or fixing their mistakes. I do not recommend purchasing from them.
I am deeply disappointed with my experience with Sarah Elise Jewelry. The eternity ring I received was not what was advertised and did not meet basic quality standards. Upon opening the package, I immediately noticed that the gold appeared noticeably thinner than shown, the stones were inconsistent in quality, and there were visible scratches on the ring. It looked worn and poorly finished, not like a new, high-quality piece of fine jewelry. Additionally, the ring was the incorrect size. I know because I measured!I contacted the company immediately after receiving the ring and returned it within a few hours of delivery. I also sent them the return receipt right away so there was a clear record of how quickly the item was sent back.I was told the ring would be “reviewed” and that they would get back to me. That follow-up never happened. Communication stopped entirely, and none of the quality concerns I raised were addressed.Instead, after they received the ring, the company issued a gift card without my consent. I did not request store credit, nor do I want it. I want a refund. At no point did anyone respond to my emails or explain why a gift card was issued in place of addressing the issue. While eternity rings are listed as final sale, final sale should not mean accepting substandard or damaged workmanship. I fully expected to receive a ring that matched the description and imagery on the site, and also a ring that was the right size! Quality issues are not a matter of preference and should not be dismissed under a final-sale policy. To make matters worse, I later learned the company allows only one exchange total. That policy was not clearly communicated upfront and leaves customers with no recourse if a replacement item is also unacceptable. My emails have gone unanswered, and there has been no accountability for the condition of the ring I received. Issuing a gift card instead of resolving the problem feels like an attempt to close the matter without taking responsibility. If you are considering a purchase from Sarah Elise Jewelry, especially a final-sale item, proceed with caution. Once payment is made, support and accountability appear to be extremely limited.
Susie Single Diamond bracelet. I received my Susie diamond bracelet today and was highly disappointed in what I received. The gold links are so incredibly thin and do not resemble the picture on the website. It is totally not worth the $229.90 that I paid so I immediately repackaged it and it is being returned within 10 minutes of me taking it out of my mailbox. I do not want a gift card or any exchange as I now do not trust the quality of their products. I am HOPEFUL to get a credit back to my credit card so I await confirmation that the cheap bracelet has been received back at Sarah Elise, LLC.
I LOVE Sarah Elise Jewelry! I've been an OG fan of theirs (following since around 2020) and they're legit. It's some of the best prices I've been able to find for gold because they make it all themselves. PLUS it's a woman owned small family business! Want to give them their support / flowers because I think some people don't know how to shop for jewelry online (read product descriptions right). I've had them make custom pieces, bought their original designs, everything has been great. They have been SO helpful with me while creating my fine jewelry collection over the years! Love!!!!
I would give this company zero stars if I could. Only reason it has one star is because there was email response and it was condescendingly cordial. This designer offers no refund for “made to order items.” I ordered a beaded platinum ring and a diamond pave initial ring. I’ve ordered from this company before. I could’ve ordered the same thing from anyone else! Jewelry is shit! Flimsy, diamonds don’t shine. The beaded band is flimsy and extremely thin. Not worth the cost. I simply do not like what I ordered and wanted a refund. I would’ve even taken a credit but they kept telling me no returns. Company would not refund my money OR even offer me a credit because I missed the “made to order” tiny print in the ordering process. Email confirmation doesn’t even say the products are made to order. The fact that this brand will not even try to offer a credit for return of their shitty product is ridiculous. I had issues with my diamond ring from diamonds direct and I was still offered many options of refund, apologies, credits, etc. why in the world would an unknown company like this just found in a search engine not offer a better return policy. For as cheap as the jewelry is, they can afford it. It’s all principle now! All I kept getting through email was a condescending no. Not an I’m sorry you don’t like the product. Nothing. Just no returns! So yeah! Bet your ass I’m pulling a Karen right now!
Ordered custom pieces, never given any pic mock-up or anything but we went over what I was looking for in emails. Once my order came in- I loved it and emailed asking to get another made just like it. Same spiel. 9” 18k emerald bezel chain.. how can that go wrong?Welp. …even though the orders were placed mere weeks apart, and with the expressed written intent for Sarah Elise to deliver a second chain just like the first- using the same email thread and all - when the second one arrived: it was not the same as the first. The spacing was different, the branding beads were different. They apologized, sent a shipping label to me, and told me to send it back for them to adjust.. however sadly…even though emails were exchanged and they let me mail it back to “correct” the differences… They did not correct to match the first. They ignored half the problem, swapped the “wrong” branding bead out of the end of the chain - and now I am the unhappy owner of two chains with different amounts of bezels, different spacing in between bezels.. and for all the detail and pics sent for ASKING for the same chain twice - they did not apply themselves diligently to match the pieces. Here I sit, ultimate disappointment. Having bought two chains to be identical and the jeweler now tells me I was probably never going to end up with that because: handmade. ????Get out of here w that! what kind of customer service does that !?It is still two items that do not match. Suddenly “it’s handmade” and “such pieces will always vary”Ummm.. HOW is that allowed when what I paid for was for them NOT to vary ? When I detail “there are different amounts of jump rings between the bezels and they do not match”Now, if I want these 18k chains to match (like I THOUGHT i already paid for!) they say it’s on me to Mail them both back together at my expense.. so disappointed. Skip these people if you want something different; but for the basic stuff it’s cute enough.. just not worth the hassle of being made to feel unimportant as the customer, as if their Sarah Elise vision and ethos somehow outweighs a custom commission EXPRESSLY written to be two chains that match. I tell ya boy this was a disappointment for all of that. Way to make a girl feel welcome to shop. 🤷♀️ who needs it ha
I received a ring from them recently, and while it’s okay overall, I was a bit disappointed with the quality. The prongs holding the main stone appear squashed and uneven, and some of the finer details, especially in harder-to-reach areas, feel unfinished or rough, lacking proper polishing. I did consider returning it, but with international shipping, it feels like more hassle than it’s worth.
Horrible customer service - plain rude! I am writing this to warn others of the poor quality of this jewelry at an expensive price point. The cuff ring I purchase bent open at a small tug and finally snapped in half - they could have cared less!!! They told me this is “normal wear and tear.” SCAM COMPANY
