Absolutely no one listens then when the glasses come there wrong, I informed the person I ordered from that the hospital prescription was a prescription for the right eye only as the left cannot have a prescription, the prescription said balance but I made clear not to one not two but three people involved that to not balance the prescription but to only do the prescription for the right eye and the left no absolutely no prescription lense , I paid for thinning to match aesthetically the prescription lense plus paid for tint in uv light , both pair distance / driving , close for reading both to be the same, not one pair came as instructed and ordered, prescription lenses were thinned the no prescription lenses not , absolutely worst of all the none prescription lens on the left specsavers took it on themselves to put a prescription in against hospital instructions passed on by myself? What the problem is they don’t listen and when you point out you told three of them and carefully explained why the hospital had prescribed that way and what for they then turned round and blamed me for not communicating it to them ? My partner was sat with me at time of ordering and I couldn’t of been clearer, they went ahead and did what they wanted not what was correctly instructed to them , she even had in second checked before I paid , no never again will I step foot in Castleford specsavers as when I tried to complain to the manager and informed her I was contacting head office because it had been completely unacceptable all I got was well that complaint will come to me because I’m the manager and we are franchises , I got my money back and will go we’re staff are more experienced and listen,
Staff at reception and initial test friendly and efficient.The optician very sociable and efficient and reassuring when I was apprehensive.Excellent eye test carried out to the highest standard , information given every step of the way.I came away thinking what a pleasant experience it has been .Specsavers could not have improved on the service from beginning to end.Congratulations Specsavers on giving ultimate high standard of excellence.
