I recently deleted Uber eats because the company is run by complete idiots. They have no class no customer service. Can’t talk to anybody recently ordered from a restaurant for my son which we have ordered plenty of times from there and you would think the app is smart enough to pick the closest location, but it picked the furthest location even though I clicked on a reoccurring order to make it more simple by the time my food came. It was obviously cold when I tried to get a hold of customer service you have to jump through hoops just to talk to someone which is only available by text and they determine that the temperature of the food is not their problem which is totally bogus and the driver stopped at three prior locations to delivering my food so for anybody that wants to use Uber eats don’t waste your time. Crap service crap customer service. They don’t give a shit how your food gets there and a bunch of dummies work there. I hope they go bankrupt. Bunch of

Took over an hour for my delivery. Food was cold by the time I got it. Customer service is 1000% useless. Even when the orders are wrong they fail to compensate. Last time I use this garbage service.
I have used Uber Eats for a while now but will no longer do so. I will be deleting my account as soon as I complete this review. There have been times when I was waiting for my food, it was late and I was unable to drive to get food. I am also a senior citizen and choose not to be out at night, in addition to having issues with Sciatic pain which sometimes made driving difficult. Waiting for food to come, then going in on my phone to see a message stating that the driver ran into trouble and my order could not be delivered. Then I ran into a map issue. I don't know why all of a sudden, there is a problem with the address. One driver called and said he was having problems finding the house. When he explained to me where he was, I told him he was on ____ Place and that he needed to come around the corner to ____ Street. My next order, said DELIVERED, I said I don't know who they delivered it to, but it wasn't me. I ordered food today, and it said DELIVERED.... Not to me! The driver took a picture of the front of the "delivery house", and of course, the house was not mine. When I went in to see how my address was a problem, I saw "previous address", which was correct, and then "Nearby Address", which was the ---- PLACE address. I don't know why my address was changed in their system to "Nearby Address', and of course, there is no live person to talk to for answers, the telephone number given is no longer in use. I will say thatThere was no problem getting the money refunded to my account, nor was there a problem asking for the amount to be credited for future orders.
Placed an order only to realise that the address was incorrect (20km away) when it sent the order to the store near my partner's house. Immediately tried to cancel within the app however cancelling is made almost impossible. So I called the store, explained the situation and cancelled with them directly. They did not start processing the order. When I asked them to cancel it with Uber Eats, they said I would need to do that within the app. Upon trying again, the only way I could see to cancel was to change the address, at which point that app told me I was too far away, and asked if I would like to cancel. Whilst it said I would be charged, there was no other option, so I cancelled, knowing I would need to raise this with customer service (to obtain a refund). Upon doing so, 4-5 times now, I'm given the same cookie-cutter terms and conditions response (aka no) that I took too long to cancel (with zero consideration for it firstly being almost impossible to figure out how to cancel, nor the fact I called and cancelled with the store). I also placed a new order at the correct store so they can see it was an honest mistake and they still made their money. I'd be ok to pay something for my stuff up (like you do for a no-show ubder ride e.g. $10), but not for an entire order that was never prepared and I never received.
Absolutely pathetic and bordering on theft
Wish that I could give the customer support zero stars. Wouldn't refund nor redeliver due to crap policy with the PIN number and don't tell you until after the fact. Will not be using until corporate hires persons that follow customer's request.
Unprofessional. Criminal behaviour. Don’t care about customer. RIPPED ME OFF. i hope restaurants stop using Uber Eats and start doing their own private delivery service. I would pay more if I knew Uber Eats was fkd over. 👍🏼
They falsely advertised 2 for the price of one and customer service claims I didn’t enter the option right and their site has absolutely no directions to do this. ALSO instead of reversing the charge they made me uber eats the overage and price hike over the sub shop prices! A RIP OFF
Ordered some booze for a party. Ended up not needing it. Tried to cancel it and they told me I couldn't. If I cancelled it, I would be charged for it. I explained to them that if I cancelled for it, it would literally be put right back on the shelf and bought by someone else. It is literally illegal under UK law for the same product to be bought by multiple people. But UberEats is happy to violate that law. They will sell and have sold the same products to multiple people.
Just awful, no care for customers. A lot of money wasted time and time again. Most orders placed there were issues with, one time they nearly cheated me out of my money for a £100+ order I made when they only delivered one or two of the items! They were going to get away with it until I kept advising I am willing to take legal action etc. I don’t know who is running this company or app but the treatment I’ve received in countless occasions is extremely shocking and anxiety inducing…which no one expects as the app is supposed to help and make things smoother and convenient when it comes to having your meal delivered. It is very very difficult to use the app to gain a resolution as well and they direct you to the app when you call but it’s almost impossible to get help when you go on the app regardless. I’ve finally stopped wasting my time and money and will be shopping with the many other companies out there including Ocado and Amazon Fresh for healthier options with customer service and care.
Ordered two pizzas from a restaurant. The restaurant called directly to inform me they didn’t have the necessary ingredients to make them, I asked them to cancel the order and they did. I then went on my Uber Eats app to find they charged me $52.48. When I told them that the order was cancelled in agreement with the restaurant, Uber said they will not refund,, that it is policy for them to charge for the ‘restaurant’s compensation for food preparation’ and ‘driver delivery time’. This is completely and utterly outrageous considering the restaurant didn’t make any of the order and no driver had gone to the restaurant yet when the order was cancelled in agreement. I can understand a $10 or even $20 charge but $52 is completely unreasonable and a complete scam when I got absolutely nothing in return. I’ve reported this to the BBB in addition to canceling my Uber One membership. From this point on, I will order direct through the restaurant, or Grubhub or DoorDash for delivery and will use Lyft for rides. I do not recommend Uber for anything at this point.
