Frustrating experience with automatic replacements

The service automatically defaults to having the driver choose a replacement when an item is unavailable. If you're not familiar with the app, you might not realize this and end up with items you don't need, all while still having to pay for them. Very disappointing experience.

Frustrating Experience with Order Cancellation

The app does not allow me to cancel an order, even though I just placed it. It keeps instructing me to find a nonexistent button, which is quite annoying. Additionally, I can't upload photos of poor deliveries. For instance, this morning, the delivery person spilled drinks all over my food and simply suggested I request a refund. I ended up talking to the support team and received only £3 back from my ruined £25 order. I'm now considering switching to another service.

I was charged twice on my card, totaling R466 - I need an urgent refund. I have plans tomorrow, and this situation is severely impacting them. This is incredibly frustrating; customers deserve better treatment. I've heard about this authorization issue, which feels like a way to take money from customers and delay refunds for 7-10 days... This is outrageous and takes advantage of customers.

What is happening with delivery drivers in Johannesburg? In my local area, there are numerous drivers parked on the sidewalks—what is their purpose? Is there a lack of work available for them? Are there no facilities provided for their needs? Considering they handle food, how do they maintain hygiene? Just yesterday, we observed over 20 drivers congregated on a sidewalk in one area and another group of about 15 near a park. There are no restroom facilities available on the sidewalks, and it's against the law to occupy the grass verges. What is going on?

Once a reliable service, now a frustrating experience.

I previously relied on the service without any issues. However, after not using it for a while, I attempted to place an order recently. I didn't have my card, so I tried Apple Pay, but it failed twice. Frustrated, I switched to another platform. To my surprise, I found a double charge from the service on my bank statement due to the failed attempts. The customer support number appears to no longer accept calls and directs users to the app for help. Unfortunately, I have no past transactions to select, leaving me unable to get in touch with anyone to resolve this. I had to report it as fraud to my bank, which is incredibly frustrating. They took my money without providing any service, and there's no way to contact support. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

Delivery Issues Persist

I’ve placed a total of 6 orders through the service. The first was sent to a hotel while I was at an apartment, so I had to cancel that order. Since then, in 5 more attempts, they have consistently failed to locate my apartment without me needing to go outside to meet them. This has happened every single time. No other service struggles to find my place, which is quite strange. I won’t be using the app again.

Despite paying through a secure method, my backup card was charged multiple times without my consent. After signing up for a subscription, fraudulent charges appeared the next day, which feels too coincidental. I have robust security measures in place, so I find it hard to believe my details were compromised by anyone other than the service itself. I've closed my account and will advise friends and family against using it, as I believe alternatives offer a better experience. I wish the company luck, but their practices do not align with fair customer treatment.
