Frustrating Experience with the Delivery Service

I wish I could rate the service with zero stars. Almost every time I place an order, something goes wrong. The driver takes hours to arrive, and there have been instances where the food was either taken or misplaced, leading to refunds. The company seems aware of the issues but lacks a customer support line, clearly avoiding complaints. It's best to avoid this service if you want timely deliveries; nobody wants soggy or cold food.

Terrible support experience.

Extremely poor customer support. I attempted to discuss a complaint regarding my order, and they addressed the issue by offering a £0 refund. When I inquired further, they claimed the issue was resolved but ignored my response. They seem unable to handle complaints effectively.

Disappointing Experience with the Service

I tried the service four times. The first time, the food arrived an hour late and was cold. On the second attempt, the restaurant couldn't locate my order, and after I canceled with the service, the food finally showed up 2 1/2 hours later. The third time, just after the driver picked up the food, I received a message that my order was canceled due to 'unable to deliver.' Today, I decided to give the service another shot. Once more, after receiving a message from the driver that he was on his way, the order was canceled, citing it was not deliverable. In conclusion, I would advise against using this service as it has proven to be a waste of both time and money.

Terrible Experience

Extremely disappointing. They do not provide refunds when food arrives damaged or cold. On my last order, a piece of chicken was missing from the meal. There was no effort to offer compensation, just a dismissive attitude. It's better to order directly from the restaurant if possible, as this service feels like a scam.

Consistently disappointing experience with missing items

This isn't the first instance where I've lost money due to missing items—whether it’s from fast food places or sandwich shops, there's almost always something left out of my order. Customer service used to be decent and would issue refunds for missing items, but lately, it has taken a turn for the worse. Now, they simply brush off the issue and expect you to accept it. I keep losing money because of errors that aren't my fault. The so-called “support” feels entirely automated. The representatives clearly aren’t even reading the messages—they just send the same generic responses until the chat ends. It’s frustrating, dismissive, and frankly insulting as a paying customer. After being ignored multiple times and losing money once more, I’ve had enough. Membership cancelled, and I won’t be using the service again. Unreliable and poor customer support. Stay away.

Concerns Over Driver Behavior and Hiring Practices

We have recently noted a rise in rude and aggressive conduct from certain drivers. Unfortunately, it seems that the company does not adequately screen its drivers, allowing almost anyone to join without proper evaluations to assess their fitness for the role. This lack of oversight adversely affects the reputation of restaurants, as some drivers confuse orders or, in some instances, even remove items from them. We firmly believe that the company should adopt a more comprehensive hiring process, including interviews and background checks, to ensure that drivers uphold professional standards.

Extremely disappointed with this delivery service.

I am truly appalled by this delivery service. I placed an order and they simply left the food at my hotel entrance. Now, they have the audacity to offer me a mere refund after spending a significant amount. I will pursue this matter until the end. They will not take my money unjustly. Very disappointing service.

Extremely disappointing customer service

Extremely disappointing customer service; the driver handed the food to a random person on the street, claiming it was theirs, and marked it as delivered in the app. When we contacted customer support, they stated they couldn't assist us since the app indicated it was delivered. The delivery person even suggested we check with neighbors, as he no longer knew who he had given the food to and felt no responsibility. To make matters worse, the customer service representative blamed us for selecting the 'leave at our door' option, leaving us without a refund or our food.

No driver available, took my money and poor service.

They didn't have a driver ready but still charged me. After waiting over two and a half hours, I attempted to cancel, but they wouldn't allow it without losing my money. So, I had no choice but to keep waiting. The order wasn't inexpensive. When the food finally arrived, it was freezing cold, with some parts soggy and others rock hard. I tried to reach out to the support team but only encountered an automated response. They refunded me a small amount, which was less than a fifth of my total spend. When I raised a complaint, all I received was an apology, despite being a member of their loyalty program. This isn't the first time this has happened. Previously, my food wasn't delivered, and I received no refund, just another apology. I had hoped things would improve, but they haven't. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. STEER CLEAR!

Frustration with Order Availability in Rural Areas

Why offer options in rural areas if drivers refuse the orders? Once again, we waited nearly 2 HOURS for a driver. Eventually, I had to cancel the order as it was getting late and we needed to find dinner, only to be CHARGED £40.50 for the cancellation. Are you serious? That's unacceptable! I won't be using this service again for a while. Furious.
