I rented a car thru Priceline

I rented a car thru Priceline, when I went to York car rental in San Diego, the guy said I needed to provide a copy of my dmv report plus provide 2 house bills. I’ve never rented a car and had to give any of this kind of information. The attendant became very argumentative and rude. Please don’t waste your time renting a car from them.

STAY AWAY… It was the worst experience…

STAY AWAY… It was the worst experience i had renting a car. They are all foreigners from Turkey. I only got rented from them because it was part of my priceline bundle. STAY AWAY! I got charged 200 extra and was but into a damaged car. I should have paid attention or done research

This place is a joke!!! when you Rent a car through WISECARS, is Goes to these clowns, I rented a jeep Grad cherokee for a week to visit my son in colorado, I needed a car big enough for my grandfathers scooter, when I got to the rental place after landing in Denver airport, Th jeep was out for an oil change, so we were exhausted from our travel, so we took a Dodge durango, 1 day later the oil light came on we are an hour and a half from the rental company, also key fog won't connect to the car!!! I call them, the Russian lady that answers the phone talk me to keep driving it! I told her I have a long trip a few hours away she said its fine!! well i still have 6 days left on my trip! She said its fine, by the way I'm a mechanic, she laughed and said it will be fine! told her when it breaks down she can bring me a new car! so about a 1000 miles later its time to head back home get there early in the am right when they open so I'm not stressed at the airport, same Russian lady is there that i spoke to on the phone I knew her voice,i gave her the fob told her it needs a new battery, it defiantly needs an oil change! she said she will put it out of commission for the day to get the work done, she pulls it around the building out of my site is there for a while, i go looking for her as to i have to go catch my flight, she tells me I have to fill out an incident report,WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?? she tells me the front window is cracked!! this is CRAZY there was a little circle that was there when I rented it! the she proceed to take another 200.00 on top of the 500.00 deposit on my CC, This company is a joke! by the way it has only been open since the end of last yea, that's why they are cheap I was told from 1 of there workers, they are doing any scam thing that can do to stay afloat!!! Do your self a favor pay the extra 100 and go to enterprise, hertz, any other place then this!!!, UPDATE!!! HE IS 88 YEARS OLD IT IS A TINY RIDE ON SCOOTER IT CAN GO IN THE BACK SEAT OF A CAR!!! SO A FLEET VEHICLE WAS NOT NEEDED! I wanted My family to be comfortable!!!!

Garbage! Do not waste your time

The only reason they got 1 star is because i had to select something. I called asking where the shuttle was from DEN, apparently 15 minutes before they closed. We had been waiting for 45 minutes already. The guy on the phone assured me that someone was on the way. Guess who never showed up. We finally hopped onto a real company's shuttle and got the same car for a little more but, we had a car and 24 hour service.

Terrible employees at this place. The policies are horrific. Total scammers. Never EVER use this place for your rental car needs. I hope they lay off their current workforce and replace their policies.

Denver Airport York Car Rental

Denver Airport York Car RentalOffsite, but all rentals are offsite...but is was even further offsite.Had a 1;00 PM pick up. Wife and kids collected luggage while I went to pickup car. Had one person checking cars out as well as in. Was second in line...waiting and waiting and then another person showed. Got checked in and then waited for the car which was NOT ready to rent out. I believe the first person had to clean it.got the car, a Durango, that has had a rougher life. Took my walk around videos (both at pick up and return) and went to pick up the family and got them at 3:15. Unacceptable wait time for a SCHEDULED P/U!Car drove fine, was comfortable, and had good gas milage for a larger SUV...but there were 2 problems:1: A plastic headliner cover in the rear luggage area kept coming loose2. The rear passenger tire kept loosing air from day one and I had to put air in every day. Turns out there was a 3/8th" flange head bolt in the tire. If the car had a puncture and this is how they solved it by screwing a bolt into the tire there should be a significant penalty imposed on them for sending a family of 5 out on the road on that tire. Regardless, of what York's opinion is, It had been screwed into the tire. We had a reinforced patch put on in Granby, CO at the cost of $50.I had called the York DEN office and the guys I spoke with said to take it to Discount Tire and get a replacement. Unfortunately, the closest was in the greater Denver area 2 hours away (5 hours round trip). When I found a tire company who could fix it, I called YORK back and the woman went off on me about how it was my fault and I am responsible.Screw that. It's a trap!Now we got a bill for $500 from York with no explanation as to who, what, when, where, why or how.York, we are contesting the charge. You sent us on the road with damaged goods in harm's way.I dropped the car off, no one seemed to have the sense of urgency I had to catch a plane. I did take a video before I left.AVOID THEM.I guarantee this is based upon my experience with them renting a car 7/13/24 to 7/24/24.

Never, ever, again.

If I could rate this company at a negative 10 I would. It took the shuttle 1 hr plus for them to pick us up from the airport, that was the first step. Then we got to the office there was no one there. Not only did they bait and switch us with the model of the car, they did it to the people before as as well. We were guaranteed a certain kind of vehicle, and the one we got was much smaller. I was so bothered, I told the attendant that I wanted some kind of compensation for the amount of time we had spent waiting to be picked up and for the incorrect model. The manager was the worst. Terrible attitude, curt, rude, couldn’t accomdate anything and even threatened to refuse our rental if we disputed with the third party, Priceline, because the car was not what we had reserved. They ask for a $500 deposit, they charge a $50 ‘administrative fee’ , they wanted to ‘see’ all the coverage la under our insurance plan instead of just the policy number, it was ridiculous and exhausting. Never, ever, again.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. Booked a pickup for 3pm in California, but they marked it was eastern time. Called an hour after the "booked time" and they marked us as a no show, gave our car away and told us we could not be refunded. Terrible customer service. Do not recommend.

Absolute Garbage | Minimum $25/day hidden fees

Absolute garbage. Bait and switch operators. "Lowest Rates" on Priceline, but then require you to have proof personal auto policy or you have to pay $25/day for minimum coverage. Oh, and if you are from outside of the US, your policy doesn't count and you have to pay the extra fee no matter what.Will never use this service again. Was handcuffed by Priceline booking not allowing cancelation.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE poorly run, understaffed, one lady to check in/out/ and returns...and deceptive....be prepared for insurance verification, a minimum $500. deposit ( not disclosed prior to booking) still waiting for my deposit in credit card to be removed after 12 days..they said it would be removed after 3 to 5 days..no damages to car I drove so why the delay?? one shuttle to and from Denver airport...plan ahead or you could miss a flight..
