The website clearly stated that the free trial included 10 downloads, but my account was automatically charged €57.34 after downloading EXACTLY 10 files. When I contacted support, they said that the last download triggered the paid subscription, even though the site says you can download up to 10 files. That means the charge happens before you reach the promised limit, which is misleading and feels very deceptive.I wouldn’t have minded paying for a service I intended to use, but the lack of transparency made me feel tricked into a yearly plan I didn’t want. Support was useless and simply repeating automatic information.
I signed up for a free trial on Creative Fabrica that clearly stated it included 10 free downloads. I completed my 10 downloads, believing they were part of the free trial, only to find that I was immediately charged £56 without clear warning or consent. This is very misleading advertising. Being charged for a whole year upon downloading the 10th "free download" is completely contradictory to their website clearly stating 10 free downloads. I contacted their support team requesting a refund, but they have so far not agreed, despite the misleading nature of the offer. I have replied requesting further assistance and currently still have had no further correspondence from them.I would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious when signing up for their “free trial,” as it is not genuinely free. I have raised this with my bank and plan to report it to UK consumer authorities if it is not resolved.
They will offer a free 30 day trial with $3.99 per month after the trial-- but will charge you a full year's subscription when you process the free trial. I was charged $47 before I ever even tried to do or download anything on the website. When reaching out to customer support it is AI and no one gets back to you. I ended up filing a dispute through PayPal but it is unresolved at this time. Once you contact customer service they put your account on "hold" so you are unable to use it, but they still do not refund your money so they're essentially stealing. I would use a paid Canva subscription or buy from Etsy. Consumer beware.
I'm enjoying my subscription, as they have so many files available. And I was surprised to find crochet and knitting patterns. My only issue was accidently hitting the "extend subscription" button. I requested a refund and submitted my receipt, and all was resolved quickly and in a friendly fashion.
I’ve had a great experience using Creative Fabrica. The site is super easy to navigate, and finding what I need takes no time at all. Their customer service is excellent! They are quick, friendly, and really helpful whenever I’ve had a question. On top of that, the variety and quality of resources available are amazing. It’s become one of my go-to places for creative projects. Highly recommend!
No one online answers a question faster than Creative Fabrica--even if it's a very non-important question. And every time they have been helpful and friendly. Everything I get from CF goes into a CF folder, so that I know where I got it. I also keep machine embroidery files in sub-folders by vendor/digitizer, but didn't think to do that for graphics until recently. CF's main flaw is that there is no vendor list or any way to search for a vendor, unless you have a current file by that vendor. If they no longer have it, there is no way to find them. So I asked how I could find what I was looking for and also suggested they add Designer to their search. I wrote CF an email about that on 2025-10-30 15:13 and got a reply on 2025-10-30 15:19. Considering that sometimes I don't get any response to comments or questions from some sites, I found 6 minutes absolutely amazing. My next email on same day (and previous emails) got a form letter back acknowledging receipt of mine, saying they would respond. They did by Nov.1, and always do respond in one or two days. (They addressed each comment and question in the second email, too.)Turns out that I already knew their current search method, but I was told that my suggestion to add Designer to their search was "shared with the relevant team." We'll see if they implement it. I hope so.This was the first time I ever got such a fast reply, but they have always answered, even my lamest questions, promptly and politely. I truly appreciate that.
I was surprised by a unknown charge on my PayPal account. I contacted Creative Fabrica and they were able to figure out that it was a charge by the Michael's Digital division and they put me in contact with Michael's. It turned out that somehow I had signed up for a trial that turned into a membership. I asked for cancellation and refund and was given just that. The agents, who were very friendly, contacted me daily to keep me informed of their efforts to get to the bottom of this matter. It only took a few days to get the money back in my account. It was so refreshing to have the whole interaction feel so kind and helpful rather than the usual adversarial relationship that usually builds when dealing with mistakes and refunds.
I signed up for a years subscription and accidently clicked on the button for another extra year. I contacted customer service and asked for a refund and they obliged very quickly and refunded me. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because it is too easy to click the link and be charged without warning. I suggest C.F. have a warning message come up to ask the user are they sure and then have an option to carry on or not to save any stress it causes like it did for me. Otherwise the company is great to use and recommended.
