Just don't use this company. Just don't. I am a rental property owner / landlord and I had the misfortune to buy a building where CSC had machines installed in the laundry room. In the 5 years since I have had nothing but problems. Tenants have lost lots of coins / money to non-functioning machines, coins are rarely collected resulting in jammed coin boxes, service people come only to have machines broken a week or two later and best of all, they didn't pay me the commission owed for almost a year. So CSC was just collecting payments from tenants and not paying the landlord. What a great business for them. This operations is run both incompetently and perhaps too competently, in a manner designed to frustrate customers and keep money for themselves. Horrible all the way around. I am going to buy new laundry machines and just let tenants use them, rather than deal with this nonsense.
I deal with many vendors in my years as a trustee of many HOA, CSC Mac-Gray has to be the worst ever company I have eve faced and there is no equal. Signed new contract with CSC. Six months in and still no words about installation. Excuses. Excuses. Absolutely no communication as all. Blaming all on the manufacturers. Sorry but your competitors have the same brand new machines in stock and ready to go. Should have been wiser and sign with other companies instead.Updated: Still no word on installation six months in. We just contact our attorney to look into legal action. This is abborant.Updated2: 8 months in, and after a barrage of emails, we are promised for a date in December (I wouldn't hold my breathe). I can begin to express the regret we have signing up with them.Updated3: Machines finally came. We have to pay out of our own pocket for the plumber since the CSC plumber wasn't available. But even that is minor lost compared to the reconditioned machines we got: One washer is DOA, persistently on out of order error. And the other washers do not drain or spin properly and all the laundry came out very damp, almost dripping. This is day 2. For all the property managers and condo owners out there, never agree to any used or reconditioned machines from CSC's contract. They came broken or the drains were never cleaned (the first few washes the drain water came out with all kinds of disgusting gunk.)Update 4: One and a half month passed, none of the machines are registered with the customer service. You can't scan/call for service. You can't request a refund. The older dryer will keep spinning even time is up if you take out the laundry early. So dangerous for a gas appliance to run on its own unattended. The nightmare continues.Update 5: Another two weeks went by. Still no resolution. Email the manager: "oh, not my problem", local manager: "oh, I don't know what happened". And in fact it is his sole responsibility to register the machines. The level of bureaucracy and managerial failure is breathtaking.Update 6: Another two weeks, and another two weeks. All the machines are still not registered. No refund. No services. I don't know what else to say about this company. Don't be a fool like me, run as far away as you can from them.Update 7: 3 Months. 3 effing months. Our machines are still not registered. None of them exists in the eyes of the customer service when you scan it. All customer service do is passing the buck. Counting the days, the minutes, the seconds, we get out of the contract....
Appliance Warehouse is absolutely horrible. I used them when I was in college in Cincinnati in 2013 and they were great at the time. Now I live in Phoenix Arizona and I just needed them to move the washer to my new home across town which they request for you to do instead of moving it yourself. I received a call at 9am this morning saying the driver will be at my home to pick up the washer and dryer. My husband took off work to wait for the guy to pick it up. He never showed up. At 1:40pm I tried calling the drivers phone and his voicemail box was conveniently not set up and wouldn’t answer my text asking for an updated ETA. I then call appliance warehouse and they forwarded me to customer service twice and hung up on me mid sentence asking where the driver was (looking at you Bianca). I wasn’t yelling at them or being rude. Just an ETA. So I finally get a kind person on the line after waiting 40min and they stated that the ETa is on the website. I said the ETA is 12pm but it’s now 3pm. The guy said, “oh it doesn’t show an ETA anymore”. I said well not surprised because I’m sure the driver cleared the ETA and isn’t coming to pick it up. The employee told me to wait til end of day. I told him that I have to have these units out today bc the moving truck is coming tomorrow on a Saturday. These workers don’t work on the weekends. He said he’d send an email. So then 5pm rolls around and no luck. My husband calls and the person on the line says that they’ll come on Monday to pick it up. So now we have to hire a company to pick it up because our move out date is tomorrow. Once we move it to our new home I am ending my service with this company. Lost a customer for sure. They won’t care because it’s a typical corporation that clearly doesn’t care about their customers but here’s a review to warn others how terrible this company is and to buy your own washer/dryer or rent from a reputable company.
Wish I could give negative stars I've been trying to report a broken machine for 3 days. Used the web and their own app NO LUCK. It asks for 2 things my zip code and the first 3 numbers of the machines license number PS I'm not and idiot
Zero should be the rating for this company. Two years after being assured my refund would be "escalated" it not only never arrived, but when I called again three weeks ago to request three more new refunds from machines that took money and gave no service, they had no record of the previous request. (that entailed 3 calls, and I have names and dates)So this time I have a claim number, date and name of the agent. Lo and behold! Today I checked their website with the number she gave me, and no record in the system either by claim number or phone number. This company steals from customers this way and they know it.One more thing: Note the canned and nearly identical "answer" from the company to other complaints below mine.
They steal money from me. I have already submitted a complaint to the ftc and the attorney general, but they're cowards because they didn't answer to them. These people are horrible they should be on American Greed for all the money they've stolen from everybody that used their machines.
