Extremely Poor Service, Unreliable Response Times, and Ongoing Unresolved Issues

As a property manager responsible for hundreds of apartments, I rely heavily on vendors who can provide timely, reliable service — especially for something as essential as laundry equipment. Unfortunately, my experience with CSC ServiceWorks has been consistently disappointing.We have had multiple machines down for long periods of time, some of which were reported weeks to months ago, and they still remain out of service. This has caused ongoing frustration for residents and has created unnecessary work for our management team.Reaching CSC is unnecessarily difficult. Service requests often go unanswered until you call repeatedly and escalate the issue, and even then, the follow-through is unreliable. On the occasions when a technician does arrive, the machines are frequently not properly repaired, leading to repeated failures shortly afterward. The pattern is clear: slow response, inconsistent fixes, and a lack of accountability.As a property manager with years of experience coordinating vendors, I can confidently say that this has been one of the most challenging service providers to work with. The level of service we received does not meet the basic expectations of a multifamily community, let alone a professional partnership.I cannot recommend CSC ServiceWorks based on the service history we've experienced.

CSC ServiceWorks/Appliance Warehouse Leasing is a Nightmare

CSC ServiceWorks/Appliance Warehouse Leasing. To be honest their customer service is a bit of a nightmare. We have been with them for over 10 years and our dryer broke down so we called to set up an appointment to fix it. They couldn't come for 2 weeks. On the day of the service they didn't list an ETA so we contacted them to check in only to find out that they no longer service our area and can't repair the machine. So we schedule a pickup for the washer & dryer for the next Tuesday (the only day they pick up) and we go to Costco and buy a washer and dryer and store their machines in our garage. Tuesday comes, we stay home all day and they haven't shown or contacted us so we call and no one know when or if they are coming so we have to schedule to the next Tuesday. We clear our schedule again for the next week and even though we call multiple times during the day to confirm and try to see if a manager can let us know what is happening they once again don't show and don't contact us. I call the next day and to both work orders and to service and they don't know anything and can't call the department that picks up machines. Even talking to a manager accomplishes nothing, I finally get through to someone who seemed to care in Finance and they wrote the department responsible for pickups while we were on the phone and emphasized they needed to contact us. They didn't. I tried contacting the corporate legal office, but that number just forwards back to the first three choices. So I I'm left with few choices. We have scheduled a pickup for the coming Tuesday. After that our billing cycle renews and they will try to charge us for another month, though it has been a month since we first contacted them. What's left... contacting our Senators, contacting a lawyer? At this point I can truly say this is the worse customer service I have every experienced in over 50 years. Avoid them like the plague!

I live in an apartment building for…

I live in an apartment building for disabled people and this week we were told we cannot put money on our cards because the machine only takes credit cards until someone comes to fix it. I tried my banks debit card and nothing happens. Its been over a week now and still no one has showed up. These people should not have a license, period. Just money grubbing low life's would do this to disabled people.

CSC Service works has finally pushed…

CSC Service works has finally pushed the envelope to far. Virtually owning the truckstop market with the same worn out, tired and unmaintained equipment for years. They have raised prices beyond reason. From now on laundry will be better planned out and will no longer happen were it’s convenient … but rather where the equipment does what it supposed to at the same or more reasonable cost

Terrible service. They never refund the money, even though they never show up to fix their machines, no matter how many tickets you open. Very fraudulent practices.

This company is the bottom of bottom

This company is the bottom of bottom. Constant app malfunctions, machines they offer are terrible, and hardly wash or drying your clothes. If you own an apartment complex and go with this company you are screwing your tenants and making a headache for yourself! This company should be sued for false advertising as well as stealing money from customers like me and possibly you! Customer service is useless, and wish I had the means to drive to their headquarters so I could talk to these scumbags face to face. Absolutely disgusted with this company!!!

After approximately eight phone calls…

After approximately eight phone calls and multiple service tickets, the company promised to call me back immediately. That was five days ago. Each time I speak with someone, I’m told a manager will call—yet no manager ever does. The online service ticket shows that a technician has been notified, but no one actually comes.We’ve been leasing from this company for quite a while, and they certainly have no issue collecting their payments. However, getting someone on the phone or getting a service technician to make necessary repairs is nearly impossible.Currently, one of the washing machines is leaking into a condominium unit. We unplugged the machine, and the technician claimed it was repaired, but the issue persists. The unit remains unplugged, and although they have a key, no technician ever arrives.This company has been extremely difficult to deal with—truly some of the worst communication and customer service I’ve experienced in Charleston, South Carolina.

Terrible! This company should be investigated!

When I attempted to add money to my account on the mobile app, my credit card was charged but no funds went on the account. Next I tried buying a laundry card at the kiosk. Same problem. My card was charged but no funds were added to the card. Without funds on the account I was unable to start the machines. I had already loaded the washers with laundry and added liquid detergent. I had to haul it all back to my apartment and wash my sheets in the bathtub. What an ordeal! I called the company and was put on hold for ages. Once I finally spoke with someone, they weren’t able to resolve the issue of not being able to add funds to my account. They only said they would refund my money. I’ll believe that when I see it! I guess I’ll be going to a laundromat or handwashing my clothes from now on. Sheesh! What a scam.

It's been over a year at Willow lake…

It's been over a year at Willow lake Apts building 624 we have yet to get a working dryer. They tried repairing it several times. Here's a idea replace it. Some people have kids that can't always go to a laundry mat. Will see if management can find a more reliable company.

Takes forever to show up, leaves without fixing.

Machines are always breaking at Ithaca College which is serviced by CSC. The app has never worked properly. They came to update the machines to work with the app last year and caused a flood (why does the app need a water line?). Very often they would come to service a machine but would leave without changing anything except for resetting it. I have never seen them clean a machine, clothes always smell a little musty and the dryers have so much old dried gum on the drum.
