After owning my bike for almost a year and riding 2,200 kilometers, it broke down. I contacted customer service, explained the issue, and they promptly informed me that I would receive a new part under warranty within three days. After receiving it and watching their instructional video, I replaced the part myself without any issues. The bike is working like new again. I highly recommend this brand for their reliability and modern, comfortable bikes.
I bought the ENGWE LE20 in October, drawn by its impressive specs and versatility. Unfortunately, the experience hasn’t lived up to the promise.The battery has issues that affect reliability.The mid-drive motor makes noticeable noise, which is frustrating on longer rides.Just days after my purchase, the price dropped by €300 — no warning, no adjustment offered. That felt unfair.For a bike marketed as premium and family-ready, I expected better quality control and customer care. I’ve reached out for support and hope ENGWE takes these concerns seriously. Until then, I can’t recommend this model without reservations.Update:I am currently in contact with ENGWE’s service team, and we are actively working on resolving the problems. I appreciate the ongoing communication and hope that everything will be fully resolved soon. I will update this review again once the situation is completely settled.
P275 Pro an electric bike that doesn't deliver. The automatic gears whilst sounds good change when you don't want them to. The bike can be terrible at going uphill when resistance increases when it should be opposite. it is basically quite unpredictable in how it responds. i can't see it on sale now so i guess it is withdrawn.
I originally purchased an Engwe ep-2 pro from Walmart.com through a third party seller. I honestly love the bike, and had ridden a friend before which is why I purchased my own. It’s been so fun zipping around town on it. After about 7 months the throttle suddenly stopped working, and error 30 popped up on the display. I messaged Engwes customer support and spoke with Raina. They were nothing but helpful with figuring out which controller I needed. It felt a little weird having to PayPal them money rather than purchase something on a site, but it was all very easy and my controller arrived within a week. I installed it and my ep-2 pro now rides like brand new again. Thank you Raina, you were nothing but a joy to speak with everytime we emailed each other. I appreciate your help with placing my order. The controller was very fairly priced as well.
I have been using my Engwe EP-2 Pro, and I am very happy with the bike. The performance, design, and riding comfort are excellent. As a university student, I use it for daily commuting, and it has made my travel much easier and faster.The build quality is solid, the motor is powerful, and the bike feels very stable and comfortable on the road.I also appreciate the Engwe support team — they are helpful, friendly, and always ready to assist whenever needed.Thank you, Engwe, for providing such a great bike and great customer service.Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The bike may be great but the customer service experience is dreadful and they only publish complimentary reviews of products on their own website, so 1 star!Customers demand not only good, efficient and value for money products, but also transparency and morality from the manufacturer.Why don’t you publish the 1 star reviews of products on your website - what are you trying to hide?Accessories bought with the bike are either not fit for purpose (phone holder), or don’t fit the bike (pump). Correspondence with customer services just goes round in circles with them asking for detail, videos and my shoe size before they’ll even think about dealing with the issues.They’ve now offered me a partial refund for these components, but on the requirement that I amend this review - either you want honest feedback or you don’t. Clearly it’s the latter given your obvious deletion of poor reviews on your own website….I wonder what Trading Standards might make of your shenanigans?
My battery just blew up.cMy grandchildren in the house. Luckily it didn't burst into flames, just lots of smoke. I bought the bike directly from Engwe, 3 years ago. It now seems they can not find my purchase. I have has issues before and never got any help. My brake caliper failed and I had to purchase one from ebay. Now I will have to take a chance on a after market battery. Engwe have now reached out. They have offered me a battery at discount. I can not afford it till January though. Three months without my bike. At least they are helping this time. I would have given a higher mark, but I bought this bike brand new and they can not find me.
