False advertising of item conditions

I have ordered quite a few items from Luxury Promise and overall, am not that impressed to be honest. They need to recheck their item description on website and live streams when advertising a product and give the customer full insight into condition as this is not always the case. One of my items was a YSL blazer and upon receiving, size was totally different than what had been shown and advertised and in one of the pockets was a used hair bobble and a tissue!! Surely this should have been checked before sending out. Second item was an LV toiletry pouch which again was not as advertised and upon receiving, zipper metal tooth was completely rusted and the chrome plating was peeling from the zipper runner and puller resulting in me having to pull out even more money and taking it to a professional luxury bag repair shop and basically having the pouch completely renovated as it was in such a state! Totally unacceptable when I had already paid a high price for it (much more than what a lot of other preloved sellers charge). This was not pointed out on live stream. The third item was a Celine pouch that again had to be taken to get repaired due to the inside condition with tears. This too was not disclosed. The fourth item was a pair of Chanel earrings that had scratches all over them and had clearly been damaged and repaired by whoever previous owner was resulting in non Chanel parts being used to fix them. Yet again, this was not disclosed. And unfortunately because I live out of UK, I was unable to return due to their company policy which I think is disgraceful when customers are paying large amounts of money for very poor quality items and are then having to fork out even more money to get these issues fixed!!! I have even witnessed broken earrings being sold in live streams and then being pointed out by viewers that the earrings were broken, to which the host acted like she was unaware. Are your items not quality checked before selling? Surely this should be standard procedure. This is false advertising and not how a professional company should conduct themselves. I think they charge way over for what they are selling, including adding close to an extra £1000 to their pricing on products being sold through them. I shop preloved items regularly and from other reputable resellers and what they charge is acceptable, but unfortunately this does not apply to Luxury Promise including high international shipping fees which again, other preloved sellers only charge a fraction of that, if not free international shipping. I just feel this company is only out to get as much money as they can and do not care about the customers as much as they claim to! I totally understand companies need to make money to cover business costs etc, but I feel they way overcharge with not so great quality to show for it. Sorry, but I would rather purchase preloved from other professional well known sellers who don’t advertise products falsely and only think of money signs and where you actually get good quality items!!

Horrible customer service

I agree 100% with other reviews on their terrible customer service. I first followed them many years ago when they started their business and purchased a few things, their customer service was great and friendly. But recently when i tried to get some enquiries on an item, i had to chased them SEVERAL TIMES. Bad response rate and still no update (its been months). Why have a whatsapp contact and email when you don't bother responding and make your customer chase? Having a larger team but your customer service is even worse now. For that reason alone, I'm not motivated to purchase from them at all.

They took £10 for them to take 3 days…

They took £10 for them to take 3 days just to dispatch and this is only due to the constant emails I sent- god knows how long they would've took to dispatch without email interference.I received information that it'll arrive next week on Monday. That means it took a grand total of 7 days to receive my package within the same country at a £10 delivery fee. Disgraceful, should've spent another tenner and got it from the original source.

My second time ordering from you, Im extremely happy with both items received, very happy with your choice of products and also the speedy delivery service but my 4 star review comes from my difficulty in getting through to you with queries I had about my most recent purchase. I tried the online / WhatsApp chat service a couple of times and my messages were read but not responded to, I did however finally receive all necessary information via email and proceeded with my purchase😊
