A very helpful technican

I thought our sauna-ofen in our holidayhome was not working. We went to the novosol-office in gilleleje and asked for help. The woman there was very helpful and said she would see to it as soon as possible.The next day, a technican (Kim) came to our house and checked the sauna-ofen. After calling the owner, he told to me that I just used the two controller not correctly.Afterwards, he instructed me how to use the both controller to heat up the sauna directly.I'm very happy that we are able to use the sauna as well.

Dirty and a scam

We arrived to Novasols dirty apartment which is crazy because u pay 80 euro for a cleaning when you leave. Floors were unwashed and 1 if the toilets didnt work. There were dirty plates and knives in the kitchen. Lola "Receptionist" was expecting that we will be there at a specific time to meet a technician to fix the toilet, that was out of order. This was not part of our vacation plans, also this is your responsibility as a host. No padel gear included or even possiblety to rent, why not give the info?The main bedroom was promised a extra double sized bed, this was a small bed 140x190 cm for 2 people, like come on..Broken mosqouito net in the living room. Our electresity deposit on 60 euro, didnt reach for our use according to Lola, i asked for some data for proof when she demanded 111 euro. I got a picture but no dates, daily use or even a time period. We were accused of not turning on the air condition but we only used this at night. We did not pay any, because it was a scam. Otherwise we loved the padel tennis court and the swimmingpool, but we can't recommend this booking at all. Also we did send Novasol a complaint, but they dont care. Bad company!

Breathtaking view

This house is magnificent! Lots of space and a breathtaking view. 2 modern bathrooms, 3 WCs, and a state-of-the-art kitchen. The living room and both terraces offer several seating options to get comfortable and relax. It's cosy while being light and airy. We can only imagine how magical it might be in winter, with the dual-access fireplace. We enjoyed listening to our own playlists on the Amadeus sound box. A nice bonus are the sevaral games for all ages, as well as attractive coffee-table books on Danish gastro-culture. Another comfortable detail worth mentioning are slidalbe flyscreens on selected windows to keep insects out while letting in fresh air. The driveway is gravelled, giving direct access to the shielded terrace in front of the house. The only suggestion we might add are including instruction manuals for the ovens. Overall, we enjoyed a wonderful week, and we hope we can come again.

The House is very clean and well…

The House is very clean and well equipped. From the garden you have an awesome view to the sea. The only thing we noticed is That the pillows are slightly yellowish, so a little bit dirty.

English version below – Dutch version first for local readers.Twee keer geannuleerd, beloofde compensatie niet gekregen, toch €500 extra moeten betalen.Een week voor vertrek werd mijn betaalde boeking (9823390, € 3.770) geannuleerd.
Het alternatief dat ik koos werd drie dagen voor vertrek opnieuw geannuleerd.
NOVASOL beloofde 25% coulance maar ik moest alsnog 15% extra (€ 500) betalen
om twee dagen voor vertrek verzekerd te zijn van een huis.Het huis zelf was prima, maar onze vakantievoorpret was twee keer weg.
NOVASOL: houd je aan je beloften. Ik sta open voor een oplossing en
zal mijn review bijwerken als dit wordt hersteld.Cancelled twice + extra chargeCancelled twice, promised 25 % compensation not given, forced to pay €500 extra.One week before departure, my fully paid booking (9823390, € 3,770) was cancelled.
The alternative I chose was cancelled again just three days before departure.
NOVASOL promised 25% goodwill but still charged me 15% extra (€ 500) to secure
a house two days before departure.The house was great, but our holiday anticipation was ruined twice.
I remain open to fair compensation and will update this review if resolved.

Unpersonal arrival

There was nobody at the office of Novasol. It took us some time to find out where to get the ordered linen and towels. The house was clean, no complaints, but the cushions of the sofa’s outside were very wet. I think the bags where they were stored are not good enough protection.

Sommerhouse in Egsmark

The house was great, mostly clean beside the windows in the livingroom - there were handprints all over the window. The outside was fine, except that the grill (2 grills) were coalgrills, old and shabby, and if they were mine, I would have thrown them away. Also the hot tub had not been cleaned, there was sand in the bottom and the water was not clean. The location was great and we had a very good time there.

Still awaiting final compensation for dirty house and problems with check In

Don’t use this company. Still awaiting a refund two months after agreeing compensation because the property was not up to standard. The house was filthy - with food left on the counter top, a bathroom we couldn’t use because it was so dirty and lots of dead flies and cobwebs. This is despite paying a compulsory €200+ cleaning fee as well as an extra cost for bedding and towels.For a rental of about €2,500 I would expect this to be included.The third bedroom was like a cave - extremely dark with a door to the garage and another to a junk room going off it - the pictures on the website are completely inaccurate and could only have been photographed with studio lighting to make it as bright as it was.We had no electricity for the first 15 hours and spent all morning sorting it out with no one answering calls at the France office as they were closed for the weekend (when I imagine a lot of people want to arrive). We were told we had to be booked in by concierge so couldn’t arrive late so we booked an hotel room for the first night. We were rung by concierge that evening to say that they didn’t have time to check us in the the next day and had left the key out for us - so we wasted a nights accommodation.We agreed a sum for compensation which has still not been paid in full despite numerous emails. Certain descriptions and photos of the house on the website do not accurately represent the house. The fair review we left which pointed out the positive as well as negative aspects was taken down after a few weeks so no one can have an accurate review of the house. It seems that the house has no reviews at all so I am assuming they take down anything negative.
