Defective Shoes - Combative Return

Had a pair of Kayano 29s bought on 10/01. There was a hole where the big toes sits. For context, I’m 71, walk the dogs (no marathon running here), wear socks and trim my toe nails. Clearly this is unacceptable quality. Corresponded with ASICS.com.au and was told to take them back to place of purchase, outlet centre Canberra. Just to be clear, I really liked these shoes, they were exactly what I wanted, comfortable with an excellent fit. I did as suggested and took the defective shoes back to ASICS outlet Canberra. The sales assistant was somewhat combative.Asked for receipt, asked to see the email from ASIC, I showed hm both.He then told me since it was 5 Months since purchase he could not give a refund only a store credit (which I think is total bullshit - the product was/is defective). We looked at other shoes then I worked out it was only 4 months since purchase. I told him that, then he said well it’s 3 months only can we give a refund. I told him he was making it up as we go along. He eventually agreed to refund.He did not offer another pair of Kayano 29s (I guess they did not have any). He did offer a pair of Kayano 30s if I paid the $50+ extra (there was no goodwill: well we’ll give you a pair of Kayano 30 in exchange).So I eventually got the refund and went and bought a pair of Adidas Ultraboost.Why, when products are obviously faulty and not fit for purpose, don’t stores just do the right thing by their customers. The amount of business you lose by having no customer focus must be staggering. So great customer service, how to keep people coming back.I passed this back to asics who thanked me and said they would pass on the feedback.

Satisfied and earlier arrived

When I read the comments here I was afraid that something would go wrong with the sending of my purchase, but I also read good comments. My purchase arrived like planned (earlier though!) and I payed a fair price for my new tennis! I am very satisfied with the purchase and delivery from de ASICS Outlet in the Netherlands.

I ordered a pair of shoes on the 25th…

I ordered a pair of shoes on the 25th of April and the tracking never updated from "waiting for pickup". I sent an email to ask where they were and got no reply, 2nd email also no reply. Online chat was woeful with no actual people to speak to. Finally called a number for Asics and was told the item actually wasn't available and I'll receive a refund tomorrow. I don't really believe I'll get the refund. No idea what has happened to this company - I've used them for about 6 years with no issues. And now they seem to be terrible. Update: Surprisingly, I did actually get my refund

This company has the worse customer…

This company has the worse customer service in australia. Shoes were faultty and had a hole after a few months. They claimed i was taking off my shoes without untying my laces (whihc i have never done in my life). The lady in service did not even listen or read my mails. Sorry but for such company they are very dissapointing. I bought over the years at least 20 pairs and will now change to anothrf brand and continue to write poor review till somebody in their ivory tower (HQ) wakes up

Unbelievable ripoff!!

Unbelievable ripoff!!! Avoid like the plague.Ordered weeks ago, tracking says sent to courier, they say it was cancelled. They don't answer phone and won't refund my £130. A big part of the Internet ripoff culture.

The customer service at ASICS is… terrible

The customer service at ASICS is astonishingly bad for such a big company. It sounds like they employ people from home to look after the phones, who don't have proper information and who really couldn't care less about your issues. I wanted to buy a pair of shoes and return the old ones afterwards and was told I could get my 10% discount after I bought the new pair - but when I tried to claim it, they said it wasn't possible. Even though I was told over the phone that I could do this. And to have such rigid policies doesn't serve anyone, it's just bad customer service.

Terrible return service no refund

Terrible return service. After returning my products on the 10th March and Post Nord confirming ASICS had received it on the 12th March, I'm still waiting for my full refund. I write to them on the 24th, finally received partial refund of I've of the returned products but no information or acknowledgement about the other returned items. I'm owed over 2000kr and I think it is unreasonable not to have refunded the full amount by the 3rd week when most companies do it with in 3-5 days and without any explanation or apology. They claim to have a free return service but it stinks since they forget to actually refund your money or acknowledge that you even exist as a customer. DO NOT BUY FROM ASICS direct, get your ASICS from other retailers!!

Absolute rubbish service

Absolute rubbish service Mostly from Yodel the delivery company but surely they should sort out the delivery and not expect me to do a 50 mile round trip to collect trainers. No refund as of yet , just awful. Should have read the reviews. No chance of getting the trainers now as they are out of stock … well apart from my one pair that are who knows where now.

Ordered a pair of Nimbus 25 on offer £70 off normal price. Delivered within 3 working days as promised. Couldn’t be happier, great price - great service!!

WARNING ‼️ do not purchase from Asics outlet.

Purchase seven pairs of trainers. To try for a good fit. ( fitness instructor) Choose to keep 3 pairs. Arrange a return. Took the original box with 4pairs to the local “corner shop” Yodel depot. I was turned away, “computers not working” a very intimidating man, I felt uncomfortable in this shop. Tried to contact asics to find a different returns company. No reply for nearly a week. Decided to reduce the sizes of box. And try another Yodel depot (Morrisons) They happily took my parcel in. Meanwhile that day asics in response to my email changed my return label to two so I could return in two packages. It’s too late I had already returned it in one box.No refund so I chased it. Sent my proof of posting receipt and screen shot of yodel delivered to asics. Won’t refund my £401 as I am in violation of returns policy. I’ve tried to get my credit card company to help and they can’t help as I’m in violation of returns policy! Now ASICS outlet will not respond to my emails. I don’t know what I’m ment to do now. I can’t afford to loose this money.
