Royal Mail - Could it get any worse?

Royal Mail’s service is well down the slippery slope of total decline. Yet again, we get an email telling us that a parcel will be delivered; followed later in the day with an email saying that they couldn’t deliver as we were out. Wrong - we were in, and our doorbell video shows that no attempt was made to deliver the parcel. We were told that a further attempt would be made today. I spoke to the postman who just shrugged his shoulders and walked away.Someone needs to put Royal Mail out of its misery. Like many institutions in this Country it has outlived its usefulness and it needs to be replaced by a service that actually cares about its customers.

Royal mail lying scum bags waited all day for parcel supposedly to be delivered am then got email saying 4 till 7.30 then got message saying attempted delivery NO ONE BEEN TO MY HOUSE LYING SCUM BAGS I HAVE VIDEO DOORBELL AND SECURITY CAMERAS SO WHY LIE TO CUSTOMERS NO WOUNDER CRAP FEEDBACK

What a joke. Used 48 hour tracked service. Parcel had to be ‘rerouted’ - no explanation why and no tracking updates beyond 9.30am this morning. God knows when it will arrive

100% Delivery failure rate

Royal Mail/Parcel Force (Nb. Alnwick, Northumberland. Delivery Address NE66 1DA. Tracking No. PT541569461GB)The informal policy of pushing pre written "Sorry we missed you" cards is carried out locally. I always ensure I'm doing work immediately next to the front door and/or 5 seconds away from it, next to the kitchen sink. With £650+ orders due yesterday and today, had no issues with 2 No. Yodel, 1 No. EVRI, 1 No. Federal Express and 1 No. unknown suppliers. Last delivery was Yodel, had the door open prior to the delivery person knocking/ringing the bell.Royal Mail/Parcel Force. Don't even have have ten seconds to get to the door, prior to "we can't deliver" type card etc, etcReceived the delivery, 11 days post order. Another supplier have confirmed in writing, that they won't use Royal Mail (Parcel Force), so that orders been left open

I have been directed by royal mail that my parcel will arrive after 1pm which I had to come from work 12:30The delivery turned around 11am missed my delivery cos of it I can get my delivery for more than 3 days after. Bad guys

Absolute disgraceful service from Royal…

Absolute disgraceful service from Royal Mail. Sending tracked 24 and tracked 48 service and local depot at Derwentside and Tyneside delivery depots cannot even be bothered to scan in some of the parcels. Customer service telephone lines are horrendous with wait times over 60 mins every flippin time you call them . What has happened to Royal Mail - Service is so bad - Evri has performed way better and delivered faster than this company over last 2 months.

Heartbroken

Heartbroken , I treated myself due to having a little extra cash in my pocket . Only for Royal mail to deliver at wrong address. Raised a case with them with proof of that's not my door !' It's been 72hours and still nothing although the day I enquired they can only apologise stating GPS tracking of the postperson has been located and will attempt to get my parcel redelivered to me with new tracking. Tracking is not updated . My faith in this matter is utter frustration, lack of responsibility and above all very poor customer care i try calling but left waiting for over an hour on the line . Royal mail should owe customers like myself to compensation not that it would restore my faith in them . They really need to train there staff properly about taking extra caution to postal addresses!
