yeah, good morning. when we had the RAIN 101 EXPERIENCE from may 2024 to september 2025, they were simply exceptional. now that he has left with his router, it is time i get one for myself. the service was so brilliant, i became spoilt. now, i want one for myself & my current residung tenants. as of next month, i will call U for setting up my home internet that begins at R650. i thank Utake care, much appreciated. truth be told regardsbaningi shembe
Not happy with Rain got a 60mbps wifi then they say i cant get the rain 101pro router but it comes with the deal and on 60mbps i get 55mbps download and 4.2 upload what a shame i think to cancel and go to afrihost not happy at all 😡😡😡😡😡😡🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔😡😡😡
When you sign up for a new account with them they are super speedy and super happy to help. A year in and we upgrade to the 60mbps line. What a mistake!! The connection is so bad at peak to the point where we can't even watch a youtube video or send emails. This is ridiculous. Calling them is useless. I can never hear the support on the other end of the line and when I can actually hear them, they recommend resetting and moving the router around the house as if I am playing musical wifi. All this for basic internet connection. I will be cancelling my account with them once I find a new internet provider. My speed suddenly picked up to 60mbps after the support call this evening even though I haven't touched the router. Isn't that interesting?
Their service is very poor. The consultants seem very confused, they promise to call back and resolve the problem, but they never do. It's been 6 days without internet, but yet it was paid. I wouldn't recommend Rain South Africa to anyone. Their service is the worst!!!
Rain is unacceptable. I made a payment on the 4 November 2025And now I must make a payment again on the 15 November 2025 They ridiculous and plus it’s not unlimited I must just buy data on the looper everyday as it get quick upI pay insurance also every month and monthly installment twice a month and now they want to charge for returning the item and i only have it for 2 weeks i would never advised anyone to support rain really
We don't have any signal with the rain routers where we live. Both me and my father have been trying to cancel for more than over a month. We have sent multiple emails with no reply. We tried the call centre . We have tried canceling on the rain go but it won't submit as it won't give a pick up point or except any address given to collect the router. I have sent multiple messages to the WhatsApp number. I keep getting a new ticket for the problem but nothing happens. For all the messages I sent I was called twice. I missed the calls as n was on another call. When you call back you get a robotic system that's unable to help. It's extremely easy to get rain but it's the next mission impossible to cancel it. I have never been this frustrated and had this bad customer service. Even home affairs is starting to seem better than rain. If I could give it a 0 I would.
My network was switched off on Sunday morning 5days after i had paid my subscription for the upcoming month only to be sent from pillar to post by Leila on their WhatsApp chat, we sent about 58 massages to each other and i tried to explain do many times to her that i don't owe them they should check their payment transaction history and she kept on sending this'i understand yo frustration but u need to pay again. I spent about 30min trying to explain to a fool who couldn't just go on payment history to figure out when didn't i pay. I was so frustrated i stop preparing for church because how can't a company switch off internet without proper check and to make me spend my time trying to explain my frustrations to someone who doesn't give a damn. I hate Rain with all my heart after what happened on Sunday this will be my last month with them. They can go fool others. Anyway i gave up trying to explain to your billing specialist that i don't owe you only for my network to return by itself after 2 hours, do what happened because i never paid the amount you were insisting i pay. You have spoiled my Sunday i will forever resent this network, especially for being unhelpful and giving us robots to talk to us on weekends
