Another mediocre corporate experience. Employees are generally courteous and helpful, but to call them a tractor supply store is an oxymoron. If the item is not on sale, pricing is pretty poor. Selection is poor, as well. Bulk pricing is decent, which is the only reason I keep returning. Sad to see them putting better locally owned stores out of business.
Today October 14 I was at the Michigan Tractor Supply store located in Pierson Rd Store number 1814 buying a food for my dog. I could not get it and an employee helped me and told me that they did not have it to order it online and walking to the exit he called me and told me ... here is one I grab it from where it was located very close to the cash registers and I fold it a little and he did not show me where the price tag was and he folded the bag and charged me as any employee would do, but I noticed that the bag had a yellow label of a sale, but I paid 18.01 the regular price and did not say anything. When I got to the car I realized that in reality the price marked on the yellow label said “Only this product… ..Sale 5 $”. I felt cheated and cheated after being a customer of the store. I do not know if I go back to that store for real cheated
Went in looking for a gas line for a lawn mower and was greeted with a friendly smile and the lady took her time to help me and find what I needed, they were out of it but she directed me to another store where I finally found it. thank you for all your time... I felt like her only concern was to help me solve my issue and that kind of customer service is priceless!
Yesterday I purchased an Ohio Steel Lawn Sweeper from Tractor Supply in Atlanta, Texas. Today I hooked it up to my lawnmower---what a joy to use. I was totally amazed!! It was wonderful and it actually worked!! I won't name the brand of my previous lawn sweeper...but I will say it was just awful. Had to get off the lawnmower ever 2 to 3 rounds of the lawn to reset adjustments which wouldn't stay in place. After an hour on that piece of junk I was too tired to complete trying to sweep the lawn. This Ohio Steel never bobbled....just kept on sweeping. I am certainly glad I purchased this piece of equipment...has made my life much easier!!
I honestly feel bad for customer service of this company. It seems they don’t always double check what they sell. Never have I ever thought we will buy a grill which never worked and never turned on! Yet we wasted our 30 days warranty waiting for partial refund for a huge scratch inside the grill we noticed. Then we became waiting all summer in limbo. Tractor Supply reacts and answers but responsibilities where shipped to a manufacturer. We got manufacture contact NEXTGRILL. Took 4 months and we finally got all resolved. Never again!!!
I ordered stuff on line to have shipped to the Bolivar location and when I get there an employee named Justin didn’t even have 2 min to speak with us about our order just kept walking off. We pull around back to pick up 3 items we ordered and they tell us 2 were canceled. We did not cancel. We found out the rude employee Justin had placed our through the wall kit that we ordered and paid and shipped placed it on lay away and did not want to give us the item. Had to call corporate office. Matt an employee that worked very had to get all our items to us saved the sale of over $1400.00. People should not have to be treated that way when they walk into a business. Then have a store employee that was rude place your item on pay away? Something needs to be done about that employee. I bought 20 bags of shavings and noticed they was smaller than last time when I compared them. I called the store and the manager said yes they looked smaller. So he offered a discount which is great. My problem is I called customer solutions to find out if this was a one time mistake or is the product changing. The girl on the phone was absolutely terrible. I asked to speak to anyone higher up than here. She put me on hold for awhile and then cameback and said no one was around. You know that wasnt true. Then she told me I could call the company who they buy the shavings from. I would think there is someone that provides QA and should check into that kind of thing. Once again people just showing up for a paycheck but cant provide service. I was just trying to help out the company by letting them know of an issue and they cant be bothered to take the call.
