My trip to dubai was far more pleasant…

My trip to dubai was far more pleasant due to it being fairly empty and I had 3 seats to myself.. The return was very full and not as nice but the steward called Lokman was extremely helpful and pleasant..

Flew from Bangkok to Tel Aviv v

Flew from Bangkok to Tel Aviv via Dubai. The planes A380 and 777 were comfortable and well equipped. The service was excellent. Also the food. The Emirates app is great. I liked being able to switch seats at checkin even though I had not paid for a seat.

Vegetarian meals requested

Vegetarian meals requested. Food given to another passenger and no alternative was given on whole journey from Dubai to UK. Sent an email even after three months no reply from Emirates airlines. Avoid at all cost.

Insulting offer of compensation.

In May my flight from Bangkok airport to Dubai was delayed for 6 hours causing me to miss my connecting flight to Gatwick.I had paid for my seat which now was taken by someone else and by the time I landed back in England I was 12 hours late. I am self-employed and due to the delay I missed a days work and having to explain to my customers the reason why.I complained to Emirates via their website and received a reply offering me 40000 sky miles as compensation, when I checked out what sky miles was, I was not best pleased with the offer they put forward as I had lost more income than the sky miles was worth. After refusing the offer, I emailed them 2 further times without any reply.I emailed for again on 16th September and stated that if I didn't hear from them within 30 days with a better offer I would be seeking legal advice.over 3 weeks later I got a reply saying "Thank you for your email dated 6th October, but our offer stands and will not be improved."I now have decided that I will never fly with Emirates again.Their attitude towards their customers is shocking, replying to emails only when they think that legal action will be set against them and then getting the date of the email wrong.A truly disgraceful company.

Travelling with baby and visa issues

A few months ago I traveled with family with the Emirates on a very long way. As there was a problem with our visa during check-in, that was actually our problem, we got clear instructions what to do and the Emirates agreed to change the date (we didn't pay much). This helped a lot! 4 days later we were flying with an infant as visa issues had been solved. We got plenty of support from the crew and we could change the place on both flights. Thank you guys. Yes, people usually give bad opinions but you really helped us that day. Hopefully, unless you raise the prices, I will try to go with you on long distances.

Disgraceful experience and rude, unhelpful staff on flight

Flight ServicesComments 1: My sister and I travelled from Dubai to Phuket on 04.05.23 flight number EK378. We checked in and were given seats 39B & 39C on the flight. When we arrived at the seats, there was a very overweight gentleman already sitting in 39A (window seat) and half of 39B. As you can see from the attached photo he was taking up almost 2 seats, making it impossible to sit in the seat we paid for. I pointed out to the flight attendant that I could not physically fit in the seat and to be told she would get the supervisor. The supervisor was busy and meanwhile I was left standing in the aisle. After asking several times the plane started taxiing and I was told to take a seat. Again as I couldn't physically sit in the seat I paid for, I sat in 38D to then be told that if I sat there it would cost me $91. As I was quite happy to sit in the seat I had paid for but couldn't, the supervisor then came and informed me she was unable to ask the gentleman to move or pay for extra room. I was then taken to 27J and told to sit there away from my sister and the seat I paid for or I would be removed from the plane. As you can imagine, this caused an extremely stressful start to my trip, I was made to feel humiliated and that I was the problem, when in fact the gentleman was the problem and should have paid for 2 seats knowing he was overweight and would not fit in a standard seat. I feel he should have been told to move and pay for additional seats, not me. He also wasn't asked to fasten his seat belt or put the armrest down, given his size. I found the staff rude and unhelpful, when I was nothing but polite and accommodating. On arriving in Phuket, I tried to contact Emirates several times, via the online chat and website, I also attempted to call the helpline on 6th, 8th and 10th and was informed they couldn't help me and this was the only route of complaint. Due to the stressful events above, this made me feel extremely anxious about the return journey which ultimately tainted my holiday. I would appreciate your efforts to look into my complaint as soon as possible and to be reviewed efficiently unlike my previous efforts to contact yourselves. Wasn't able to submit as complaint due to an error on your website therefore had to raise as feedback. Please consider this is a formal complaint. Patricia Vincent For reference: sequence numbers for myself and my sister on checking in were: 217 and 218.

Disappointed in emirates customer care…

Disappointed in emirates customer care team after contacting them about a discount code which was applied to my flight and showed as eligible as had the gold mark beside the flights when booking, unfortunately when I book the flights the discount code didn't apply the reduction to my flight. I contacted emirates and explained the situation and that the discount code showed as eligible to my flights but looks like there was an error at their end. I was emailed by emirates saying that unfortunately as the tickets were now purchased nothing could be done. Pretty disappointed as I paid over £2000 for my flights to Australia. I have been loyal to Emirates over the years but judging by the other poor reviews I think that they may not be too interested in customer satisfaction. Shame really but I thought I'd let others know about my poor expierence,

Cruel and cowardly Emirates

Having booked a holiday for our family in the hope that it would help my wife find some solace after unexpectedly losing both her parents in the space of 9 months. Emirates managed to get us to Malaysia but then caused us to miss the short flight to Langkawi by giving us false information, instructing that we had to collect our luggage at Kuala Lumpur as it was a domestic flight (This wasn't even with their their airline). Needless to say the luggage wasn't on the carousel as it had gone straight through. We missed the final connection and were instructed by Emirates that because it was classed as 1 ticket, it would be considered a 'No show 'and to stick the Knife in, all our return flights would be cancelled. My wife broke down in tears at this point. Emirates have stated that they don't concur with my account of events but will not elaborate on which part of my accurate and truthful statement and have ignored my last 2 emails along with a request to make contact by their own customer service department .

Complete lack of care and empathy

You would think that for the extra money you would be getting a better service, which is sadly not the case.Had several issues come up whilst travelling with Emirates, but the thing that stands out more than anything is their complete lack of care. Sadly, they cannot be a company that prides themselves on their wellbeing, and caring for their customers, as their staff sat and watched me have a panic attack from their service desk. I was almost lying on the floor, crying and hyperventilating (I was travelling solo which ended up being very overwhelming as a young girl). I had been speaking to them previously, and they saw me in this situtation and did nothing to help. When i managed to come round slightly and go and try speak to one of their agents to ask for help, I was told to 'stop crying it wont help'.I would never ever ever want anyone to experience what i experienced, so take it from me, do not fly with Emirates.
