At the moment am giving a 1 star as my husband whom h9oked a holiday on 16 Oct 25. Tenerife. 10 days. He has spent most of the afternoon talking to AI. To no effect of getting a decent response. Money has been payed in full. I would love this to be sorted forthwith . You keep saying please supply is with ID no: sent but you have not sent anything to us. As of today we have had a good respons3 f4om last-minute.com. . They have sent all our info. After having a worrying few days. All came good in the end. Thankyou.
I made a booking for me and my family to Spain and I had to cancel due to a medical emergency which bearing in mind was within the 72 hour period which they state is free cancellation. As I used Klarna to pay all they had to do was transfer money to them but then I had klarna coming to me for the money. Anyways after hundreds of emails I finally said on the phone please a yes or no answer will you give me the money and they said no. Previously they tried to sweet talk their way round it. Worst company ever please do not use these thieves.
Absolute joke of a booking site. That’s twice in 2 years I’ve tried to use it and they just take your money then tell you the booking isn’t confirmed. Then you can’t get a hold of them. If you phone the hotel or airline they have no clue about your booking even if you give them the booking reference provided by last minute . Com. Stay away just use booking . Com or a walk in. And they raise the price of the hotel every 5 minutes on there site so it’s impossible to search for a deal because by the time you go back it will have doubled in price.
Poor customer service. Once the ticket is booked the company offer the worst customer care, relying on chat only with useless people, teams are not competent enough to reply or sort the issue which may be urgent enough to deal with.The airline changed the flight, but last minute agent forgot to issue the ticket 3 months before departure, when I tried to check online 24 hours before departure the carrier confirmed the changed flight was not ticketed, the customer service was useless, helpless, no proof or evidence or apology offered, they amended it just 4 hours before departure. They stressed me out, they are very complacent to issue an urgent issues, No communication among customer service reps, you need to tell the issue each time you contact them, never use again & recommend not to use them again.
So we booked and paid for an all inclusive holiday. On arrival at the hotel we were told by reception that they only serve breakfast. If we want any other meals we need to go to one of their sister hotels. The hotel that we are stating at is not walking distance to these other hotels either, we have to get transfers to these other hotels, although they are provided free. To ad insult to injury the hotel does serve snacks and food, drinks, ice creams- but we were told we would need to purchase these! This is unacceptable. We did not book self catering, we did not book full board or even half board - we booked all inclusive which this isn't!I tried to contact lastminute.com via their online chat to get assistance with this problem immediately and in real time but I had to wait nine minutes for a response and then the response was that they're not going to help me and I need to email them instead. It coyks be days before I get a response to my email. This is completely unacceptable. I do not recommend this company at all for these reasons. You don't get what you pay for and then you can't get any help!
The booking included flights to Barcelona, hotel and flight home. The flight home was PAID for but not actually booked by lastminute.com with the airline. We realised the day before our return flight wasn't showing on the airline app. Last minute blamed the airline, instead of just admitting their mistake and fixing it. The airline said that lastminute are not even authorised to sell flights! We booked and paid again for the flight home. Same flight. A few hours later, our original booking appeared in the airline app. Obviously someone at lastminute realised the mistake and sent the original booking to the airline. That left us with a duplicate flight booking. A total nightmare and extremely expensive. Lastminute will never admit the mistake was theirs. Moreover, when we reached out to them, we received a total brush off email response telling us that because we had SPOKEN to the airline, they were washing their hands of the entire situation. We're trying to get a refund for the duplicate flight. AVOID lastminute like the plague.
