Emailed about a return in order to get my money back before the closing date, as the returns portal doesn't work online (or on the app, I tried both). I NEED MY MONEY BACK, but customer service via email won't reply to my pleas to requesting a return!!!
Order number sequence not recognised. It was not compatible with generating the returns label. After several customer service email exchanges, I was sent a link to generate the return label, This was seamless and the additional prompts in the email were useful, Thank you Ariana.Now I have to wait for the refund, but assume this will happen in a reasonable time frame.
I never ever like to leave bad reviews however I have recently had a terrible experience with this company, I purchased two pairs of the miracle jeans, one in blue and one in black, they were lovely except the black jeans had a very very over powering chemical smell, I’ve had this before with black jeans and it usually washes out, so I have constantly washed the jeans and tried to soak them etc etc expecting that it would wash out but I honestly think the smell is getting worse, it makes me feel sick it’s so strong . I contacted customer services to inform them and ask if there is anything I can do to remove the smell, they offered me 20% refund, I then excepted that, I was told the refund was issued and then a week or so later I hadn’t received any money, I contacted them again and was told they won’t be issuing a refund as too much time had passed since purchase, so I had been told I would receive a refund by two different members of staff, then told the refund had in fact been issued and to expect it within 3-5 days (which must have been a complete lie?) and then they changed their mind? It’s just been handled so badly when I purchased a product that will have to be thrown in the bin!
IN THE STYLE ....I ordered an item from your company via Debenhams . Four weeks ago I sent you my return however no refund and klarna still want instalments . What a sham of a company . If you pay by credit card . You can get your money back on section 75 . This company collaborates with klarna and clear pay to make it an affordable way for customers to get items however , Debenhams are using this to deceive potential customers.The illegal returns policies they stand by of taking up 4 weeks to refund is against the law . Maximum 14days .The company is taking advantage of the vulnerable by offering installments .I have two items I have returned . Unfortunately Royal Mail made an error with the tracking numbers . never the less both items were returned and I have proof of the returns . Only for integrity to be questioned by one of their customer service agents .Not only was this lady belligerent but also stated her company would not be refunding for the items I returned Due to a postal error . Thank you Danielle .What kind of company employs staff to abuse the consumers and refused them their refund . To me this is legalised mugging .They then allow klarna and clear pay to take this money . It use to be a great company but now are just scamming their customers .This company deserves no stars 🌟I know this might not be an option for some but it gets results - Sue ...Debenhams through the small claims even if it's a very small amount . It will cost you £70 to apply online however you add this amount to the money your are claiming for and Debenhams will not only have to refund your original sum your claiming for but will have to pay you the £70 application fees . Also , if you've paid them by credit card . Section 75 of the act covers you for false advertising and what they advertise is fake so the credit card will chase them after reimbursing you . In addition to this . Do not return if you've paid by credit card just state to them " The Goods are ready for you collect " it is then Debs who have to arrange collection under the credit card section 75 if the don't . You - have even more leverage to claim money back .
After being a victim of SIM swap fraud, I lost control of not only my phone number but access to my email account. In the style will not change the email address to my account which is utterly pathetic they're up themselves that much. If I can change it with a bank and proper real organisations where there is credit involved, why on earth will ITS not change it? Pathethic excuse of a company to that think they're that important.
I returned items to In the Style on 4th June and have yet to receive my £60 refund. Despite sending multiple emails to customer service, I was told to contact the complaints team who would respond within 72 hours – weeks later, I am still waiting for even an acknowledgement. Extremely poor service. If this is not resolved by the end of the month, I will be forced to take further action.
Absolutely ridiculous! Send returns back 18th August they received 20th August and still nothing. The customer service is now giving me the run around. I sent tracking in first email then they asked for confirmation on what I’d sent back and order number, sent that heard nothing back. Sent another email asking for someone to reply and got can you send tracking and confirmation on what you returned which I have already done!! Thankfully I paid with a credit card so should get my money back but a warning to everyone! Don’t use!!!
I placed an order in May and subsequently returned the whole order due to sizing and quality issues. I received email from the company in June that acknowledged receipt of the returns and that my refund would be with me within 5 working days. The refund didn't arrive and I have been in email correspondence with customer services ever since. I still haven't received the refund. Each email customer service sends just fobs me off. It seems that a lot of people are in the same position..DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
