Update: Issue has now been resolved - thank you! Had an issue with our dishwasher dispenser so ordered the part through Miele US as Canada office didn't have it. When I got the part we realized it was the European dispenser part which was totally my fault. Ordered the correct part and returned the wrong one for a refund which took a bit of follow up but is now complete.
We paid for a Miele Fixed Price Repair & had a Miele Technician visit to repair our induction hob. After eventually getting the parts & two rearranged visits (rearranged by Miele), the Technician declared the hob was beyond repair. Our electrician came to help us fit a new hob, only to discover the original hob had a lose connection, at the isolator switch. This was tightened & the original hob reset itself. It is now fully serviceable.Miele are still charging us £170 for their call out, where their technician wrote off a perfectly serviceable appliance!Immer Besser. Well done MieleUPDATE "...these experiences do not meet our service standards either"The above review resulted in the Managing Directors office in the UK contacting us. The upshot of their involvement is that Miele Technicians in the UK are not electrically trained. When we checked the manuals and online for the specific fault code (Err 040), the Miele produced advice is to call out a Miele Technician. The original hob is still fully functioning, after the connections were tightened. Miele UK are refusing to increase their offer of a partial refund and are content that Miele's Technician has written off a fully serviceable Hob.Thank you Miele. DO NOT use their Fixed Price Repair, it's a con."...these experiences do not meet our service standards either"
Appalling customer service. Immer Besser strapline couldn't be further from the truth. We are lifetime Miele users for kitchen and laundry. We had one dishwasher repaired and our other dishwasher replaced. However, the new replacement dishwasher was faulty in less than 3 months and needed replacing under warranty. Miele firstly forgot to order the replacement and after weeks of chasing unsuccessfully, I wrote to the MD in UK who failed to respond and then to the CEO in Germany who also failed to respond. Ultimately, Miele admitted that they didn't have any stock, so they refunded me and I sourced a similar Miele product locally from Hughes. However, sourcing an alternative model cost an additional £500.Miele has gone to pot!Avoid at all costs!
My Speed Oven microwave stop working after making noise. It was on October 11. As 10 month ago it was same problem, when called Miele,I specifically requested that technician will take with him Megatron replacement. Yet technician arrive on October 18 without part. Next visit is scheduled for October 30.So We do not have use of microwave for 3 weeks.Miele blocked on my Credit card $500. Otherwise they will not dispatch technician. WarrnatWarranty just expired. But shall be covered for parts replaced 10 months ago.I wonder if any one from Miele Canada is reading review on internet. It is bad!My friends, who have Miele products experienced same Problems.I wish that I read reviews before making big purchases Bob
After waiting almost six weeks, finally, a Miele certified technician from Electro-Expert came, stuck his hand in my Miele washing machine drum and then gave me an estimate for $2380 to repair my hardly used ten year old Miele washing machine. The service call cost me a ridiculous amount of $348.72! Needless to say, I then bought a LG washing machine for a fraction of the above estimate. However, I strongly feel that the service call charge was way too high for the service received. I contacted Miele about this but they couldn’t care less, leaving me out of pocket big time.Customers should not be charged large sums of money for little to no service, nor charged exorbitant repair bills, more than double of most washing machines.I recommend loyal customers vote with their feet and think carefully before spending hard earned money for this kind of “service”, and spend their monies with more customer friendlier companies who manufacture goods without the financially crippling built in obsolescence.
I contacted Miele to report my washing machine had broken down. It just switches off after a few minutes into a cycle, screen goes black. I tried unplugging, waited ten minutes then tried again, no joy.Miele said that my machine is still under warranty as it is under a year old. An appointment for an engineer visit was made for two weeks time. A few days before the visit I received an email from Miele saying that that they had been trying to reach out to me but got no response.Anyway, the email was rescheduling the visit for a further two weeks due to unforeseen circumstances. So now it is going to be four weeks before an engineer visits. This is not good enough Miele, you need to get it sorted. I duly left feedback as the email requested, I also agreed to be contacted about the feedback, I am still waiting for Miele to reach out to me.Oh, and the best part, when you ring them, a recorded message spouts "Always striving for better service" can you imagine what the service would be like if they weren't striving..Update: Thursday 17th October 2024. I have emailed you with the details you requested. I await your colleagues getting in touch with me in order to find a satisfactory resolution for my case.
Don’t buy from this brand! They say the have warranties but then try to trick you into paying it yourself if the machine fails stating it was an maintenance issue even though it was clearly not!!!! This is fraud. The internet is full of reviews like this one. It seems that this company acts systematically.
Very disappointed that my tumble dryer has failed. I bought it under three years ago, it has light usage and it is dangerously shorting out the circuit breaker. Having done some research, I am sure it is a failed motor BUT Miele will no longer sell you parts, so I have to pay an engineer to deal with it. Appalled that such a premium device can fail so quickly. In addition, the Domestic and General insurance option doesn't work as they don't have Miele engineers. I will go back to buying Bosch and Samsung products.-----o-----Quick update for anyone that is interested. The response from Miele asks you to email the 'social' address, which I did. They phoned and were no real help at all, no concessions, just told me to book an engineer. The fault is a known issue with this model with the electrical harness and happens a lot. This model should have been recalled, but Miele has failed to do this, and instead charge customers several hundred pounds.
