DO NOT BUY FROM MIELE

DO NOT BUY FROM MIELE. Bad customer service, bad products. Bought a washing machine 8 months ago, broke in first few weeks repeatedly so I asked for them to take away the machine and refund me. Since then it has continued to break, miele engineers sometimes taking two weeks to come out. I have spent more than the washing machine on paying for washing to be done whilst waiting for engineer appointments and in engineer fees that miele claim we are liable for.Not only that, complaints I have filed have never been responded to, final demands have been sent in regards to engineer costs that I have queried, people on the phone will not escalate to managers, claim not possible due to ‘working from home’. Never again would I buy a miele product, please be warned before you buy what you think is a premium product.

SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM MIELE.I have an on going issue with Miele that has been on going since November 2023 after making over 16 phone calls and 3 seperate visits from 2 x different technicians the fault is still present which is a noisy drain pump this was not diagnosed on the first visit or the second visit with a different tech when the DOS system was replaced under warranty but then on the 3rd visit which incidentally was the same technician that came out first he then decided to tell me that the drain pump that had been making the noise in the first place was not under warranty as there was a piece of glass which was 3 inches long in the pump itself i have all his costings and written diagnosis sent by email and the noise had been caused by this baring in mind that he checked all this on his first visit .The customer service that i have received from them is just diabolicale and they now want to charge me £170.00 call out fee to fit the new drain pump the part is incidentally £52.00.On his quotation /diagnosis he has staed quite clearly that he shard of glass was inside the pump which is completely incorrect as it is a sealed unit this unit has an impellor on it which attached to the base of the filter this filter of cause stops any foreign debris going anywhere near the pump .Miele then have now changed the diagnosis and said that the technician did not find the galss in the pump but in the housing it attached to which again is completley fictisious i am still arguing with Miele to attempt to resolve this issue under the warranty and if i do not i will be taking this further and submitting legal proceedings aginst them .DO NOT PURCHASE FROM MIELE there customer service is absolutley shocking and i dont think from reading other customers experiences i am far from the truth with my experience either .The lady that i am dealing with at Miele has uo to now not replied to my questions by email to explain how any shard of glass can get inside a pump along with numerous other questions and has just provided me with 2 x options i either pay for the call out of £170 and they supply the pump at £52.00 or i pay for the pump and get someone else to fit it.I hope that with reading through my review that someone else at Miele may understand the frustration and shocking customer service that i have received and which i am still encountering still as it has taken up to now 14 days for answers to my questions to be returned i unfortunately would not even give Miele 1 star if i could help it .

Pathetic customer service

Pathetic customer service, after spending what we felt was allot of money on a hoover it broke after 10 months. The battery and a rotating brush function failed. Miele sent a collection box out swiftly but then expect you to wait at home for it to be picked up the following day between 8-6.30! The hoover was returned one week later which is great however it still doesn’t work. Once again we are expected to go through the same inconvenience! On requesting a new Hoover Miele states this is not their policy and will only offer this if the technician can’t fix it. Today we have waited for a box to be delivered so our hoover can be sent back again. After it didn’t turn up we rang Miele who explained that parcel force had changed our delivery day but they didn’t have to take responsibility for that. This wouldn’t be such an issue had we not had to plan another full day waiting in our house! When I explained to the female on the phone I wished to log a complaint she said I could but I would have to ring back at 8am and one of her colleagues would note it. I asked the lady why she couldn’t do it now, she sighed and then hesitantly took the details. I can’t say I am filled with confidence the information has been recorded at all. Surprisingly an awful company to deal with. We won’t be using them again.

Item not delivered for over a month, repeated mistruths told by customer agents

I ordered a dishwasher and front panel dishwasher door from Miele. On installation, the installers (Kaboodle) noted that the front panel dishwasher door had a dent in it and (correctly) refused to install the panel. I rang Miele to arrange for a replacement. I was told that a replacement would be sent out within a few days and a few days after that Kaboodle would be reengaged to install the panel. I never received a replacement front panel door. A week later, I called Miele and they assured me that within a couple of days, I would receive an email from Parcelforce confirming the date of delivery. I received no email, nor a delivery. I called again, same story, same outcome. I have now called five times and have yet to receive the item. I am currently on the phone with Miele and I've suggested that they stop relying on their system telling them about the status of my existing order and I have suggested Miele place a brand new order for me. (It is not my duty to problem-solve on Miele's behalf but the lack of practicality from their end was galling.)I shall update this review if / when there is any notable resolution.

Miele oven hardly used by single person…

Miele oven cover strip with fracture . Oven hardly used by single person . Found the oven cover strip on door cracked when removing to clean for 1st time .It had been noticeable that the door rattled but was unaware of crack. It appears out of Guarantee ... ?Spoken to Miele call centre in Greece who are generic and only read from screen. I will not buy for £180!! for thin piastic to keep in oven glass. I have requested several times for Customer services manager to call but NO reply despite requested over few weeks and logged . I require this part replaced free of charge. The oven cost £873 !!Be aware of Miele now which is not same quality as have bought their appliances always in the past but not the same quality or helpful company .

Just avoid!!!

Where do I start? Bought a Miele W1 washer and T1 dryer and have had nothing but problems. The washer had a twindos leak. Miele replaced the section but the bottom has corroded. The drier has been fixed so many times I’ve lost count. Initially it was the ticking noise which Miele eventually says is a feature. It’s like a form of torture. There’s a design flaw with the drum which means the carbon brushes make a ticking noise every time they go over a joint. It’s the most expensive metronome you will buy. The drier has conveniently stopped drying outside the warranty period. Called them today only told I would have to pay the £280 fee and if it can’t be repaired I can put it towards a new Miele dryer. Why would I buy a dryer that costs over £1000 and breaks down in 3 years? Avoid this company like the plague. The Miele of old is no more.

I have ordered a vacuum machine online last month. However, it was lost in the mail. Upon contacting customer service, they reshipped the vaccum again and it has arrived now. Great customer support service.

Miele dishwasher G 7366 SCVi AutoDos… pump failure

Miele dishwasher G 7366 SCVi AutoDos installed Sep 2022. Circulation pump failure later in 2023 (loud whining noise). $500 for part, $200 labour. Not acceptable for a $3,200 high end dishwasher. Miele not willing to provide any financial relief. I would not recommend Miele based on this service level.

Long standing customer very disappointed

Just a follow up to let Miele know that I submitted all the requested information on 15/3/24. I have not yet received any type of reply and would appreciate acknowledgement of receipt of my email along with all the receipts etc (which took quite some time to put together).I have been a long standing, honest gan of Mile for over 30 years with vacuum cleaners, dishwashers, washing machines, tumble dryers etc I found them fantastic. However I moved home over a year ago and replaced all my products with their new range and now wonder if they have been take over by some inferior company. I have expressed my issues with their Irish head office and had to re send email 3Times (copying their German office in) before I received a reply which was of no help. My new tumble dryer never dries completely and the dial is set incorrectly. My oven is not at the correct temperature (I am a chef). And the dishwasher is definitely smaller than my last one though they said it was same size. Dinner plates will not fit standing in it and wine glasses a no go. Again I emailed them 2 weeks ago with a video but still no response. I'll be looking elsewhere in future
