I've been buying Pikolinos boots and shoes, since my first purchase back in 2007. Quality mens footwear. A few years ago, I was wearing a pair of Pikolinos boots whilst visiting a chiropodist for insole fitting. The Chiropodist commented that my boots were of very good quality. Customer service is excellent. I recently enquired about replacement coloured laces for a pair of boots and shoes. Replacement laces were sent out free of charge. I've also never purchased a pair of Pikolinos that have caused any blisters or discomfort to my feet.
Arrived late so had to return and had to print return label and take to a DPD drop off not very convenient. Just an update as of 10th June I am still waiting for my refund! Probably the longest delivery and refund process I have experienced online I placed this order at the beginning of May.Further update : My refund has been received many thanks.
I first found Pikolinos in Brugge, Belgium, where I bought from a store. Since then, back in the UK I have purchased a number of pairs online. I am either a size 4.5 UK or 5 UK, and the 4-4.5 Pikolinos size is perfect for me. Their shoes and sandals are the most comfortable I own; the 'Palma' sandal being the most comfortable sandal I have ever owned; I bought them when I was recovering from an Achilles Tendon rupture, and not only do they have the most comfortable (soft, yet supportive) ever, they have the 'heel to toe drop' required so that I don't walk flat. They are also very light. I also have a pair of Nerja trainers for the same above reasons. The quality of Pikolinos is top rate, they are my go-to shoe shop. I can't recommend them highly enough.In terms of delivery to the UK, this is also a smooth process. The shoes are shipped from their warehouse in Spain, and they keep you informed every step of the way.
Pikolinos makes beautiful, quality shoes. There's no doubt about it. But their returns process has left me in serious doubt about whether to risk ordering from them again. I ordered a pair of Vallarta sandals in UK size 4-4.5 on the 22nd April 2025 - order number C00985684. I usually am a size 4 in the UK. Then on 28th April 2025, I requested a return from Pikolinos because the shoes had arrived, but when I tried them on, they were too big for me. I clearly needed the size 3-3.5 instead - note: Pikolinos sizing is not true to size. Pikolinos then gave me a return mailing label which I downloaded off my Pikolinos account online, which I then had to print out and stick on top of the parcel with the shoes inside. On 2nd May 2025, I dropped the parcel off at my local UPS office as per their instructions. The worker scanned the QR code on the return label and then printed me a receipt for as proof of transaction.Today, 13th May 2025, I was wondering why I haven't heard back from Pikolinos about receiving my return parcel, so I decided to check on UPS Tracking to see where it is. So disappointed to see that UPS is saying the parcel is missing a "commercial invoice" and they have contacted Pikolinos about it on the 7th May 2025, which Pikolinos has failed to respond to. And now today 13th May 2025, Pikolinos has not resolved the issue so UPS is going to "return the package back to sender" - that's me! WHAT?!! I followed all the return instructions that Pikolinos has given me, yet now, UPS is returning the shoes back to me! Pikolinos!! Sort it out please! I'm really mad about this. I paid nearly £100 for a pair of shoes that didn't fit because your sizing is way off, and your returns procedure completely failed me. I have also written an email just now to the info at Pikolinos.com email address, with screenshots attached of what I saw on UPS Tracking, as well as a photo of the receipt I got from my local UPS office when I dropped the parcel off. Sadly, I put in an order for another pair of Pikolinos shoes before I found out about this mess, and now am worried that something will go wrong again regarding shoe sizing or returns if I have to do another one again. After such an experience, I would warn anyone against ordering from Pikolinos directly. Their response to my email was basically something like "Sorry but you will have to send the shoes back to us a second time for us to process the return. We will not let this happen again." Well, are they bluffing? Who knows. I will update this review, once this whole situation has or has not been resolved. I know some other retailers sell Pikolinos shoes, like La Redoute. I'd strongly advise you to order from other retailers who have more robust returns procedures in place. I've ordered from La Redoute many times in the past 15 years and have never had a problem with returns. But with Pikolinos website? Already have a problem with my very first order and very first return. With the Pikolinos sizing so off the mark, I would warn anyone from purchasing from their website directly, unless you know exactly which size would fit you, so you never have to make a return.
I love Pikolinos! I have never had any complaints, no matter how minor, with the shoes that I've purchased from Pikolinos,. plus I have an adorable crossbody bag that I love to wear. Pikolinos are comfortable from the first time I wear them, and no break-in period is needed. It's also such a joy to know that the shoes that I buy will fit every time -- there's no variation in size. If I had my heart's desire, it would be a return of the Vergel shoes. I have the booties in both brown and black, and the shoes in black and I love them more than life itself. The shoes are my walking shoes and when I say walking, I mean walking all over Edinburgh, Scotland on vacation, lots of hills and lots and lots of cobblestones, and walking to and from work up and down hills in San Francisco.
No help, no answers.Neither on the Spanish nor on the German telephone number will any one answer. No help whatsoever. Since 5 weeks I have been trying to get help for what I wanted to buy. I wrote several mails too and never got an answer. Does Pikolinos still exist? I sometimes doubt it.
Beautiful boots, incomparable quality.I bought my first pair of boots from Pikolinos 8 years ago, when I first moved to Europe. I loved them so much I wore them absolutely everywhere. When the time finally came to replace them, I looked around but never found anything I liked even half as much. I ended up buying new boots as a birthday present for myself, and also some beautiful leather sneakers, and they're as comfortable and strong as the ones I loved for almost a decade. The packaging was lovely, and I was surprised by how quickly the new pairs arrived- faster than even the shipping estimates. They're high quality, they go with everything, they're comfortable, and they'll last a long time if you care for them properly. Highly recommend this brand.
