Review Time
This is a follow up from our last review from December 30. In the meantime we made some progress.Cecotec contacted us and we had the machine picked up Wednesday the 22. January. They notify us that they received it and are going to fix it. So that’s good news. I will let you know when I got it back.
Unfortunately I can't recomend this company at all. I ordered a washing machine on the 10th of December, estimated arrival date was 23rd December and one day before I got notified that it was delayed to the 7th January. I waited and the status was not being updated, it was impossible to contact anyone from customer service (I called many times) and finally on the 7th Jan it never arrived, so I cancelled the order. It's a very unreliable company.
Edit: they emailed me, asking me to wait. They still didn’t offer any solution to my problem. I’ve checked, and the first time i emailed them about these replacement parts, it was January 07, a month and a half ago, and still no solution. A simple solution, such as sending me the brush and battery and charging me for it. I’m not asking for favours or anything for free, I want to buy the bloody thing so the product I paid 200€ for can properly work.I don’t want any more contact from this brand. I’m getting rid of their product and never buying from them again. Not worth the headache.-I own a robot Cecotec Conga 8490 Pet. The software isn't great, it has several issues, but mainly, I'm having issues with Cecotec. I'm trying to buy a replacement brush and battery. First, you can't find it online, you need to email the brand. Once you do, they say they'll send it to your home and the deliveryman will charge you. I've been waiting for over a month... Meanwhile, I can't use my robot. This is just ridiculous, I have no time for this. I don't plan on using or buying from this brand again.
Ordered a blanket online 2 weeks ago...still awaiting delivery from MRW, they keep texting me claiming my address in not correct (not true)Cecotec have said they are contacting MRW but still the delivery hasnt arrived. Have asked for a refund but told to turn the delivery away. But obviously im not getting a delivery! Shocking service from them and their chosen delivery company (who you cant speak to)Below they ask me to email, which I have...with no reply. Still havent got the package or a refund (30/12)Update - they have asked MRW to send the package back and will refund me. This package has been sat there for nearly 2 weeks with no attempt at a delivery. CECOTEC you need to use a reliable delivery company, one that allows tracking online and that you are able to speak with. I live in mainland Spain so this should have been very straight forward.
We ordered a freezer on 26/11/24. It has been with MRW for delivery since 29/11/24. As of today 13/12/24 still no delivery phone MRW get told out for delivery and it never arrives. Messaged Cecotec for a refund get told we have to refuse the delivery for it to be returned and then get a refund, how can we do that if they don’t deliver.
Listen to those that have given one starBought a mop and vac robot a year ago... now the one of the base charging post springs has gone bad so unit can't base... I've tried 3 times to contact support for only to spend 45 minute describing the problem, giving my address, them saying they will follow up, then nothing... now when I open a case they don't even respond... maybe they're out of business.BUY YOUR UNIT FROM SOMEONE REPUTABLE!!! Sorry but now I've learned why you should go with big brands from big box stores.
I made the stupid mistake of not checking the reviews before I bought a Cecotec product. I bought a wine fridge from Amazon for my new house but unfortunately the delivery had to go unchecked as it went straight into storage for 2 months.When I opened the package, the glass door was smashed which could have been a delivery issue, but not something I could prove so I approached Cecotec to just purchase a replacement door and happy to pay for it ... which you would think would be very easy.They suggested I went through Amazon which is quite a task in itself, but I would assume that dealing direct with the manufacturer with my willingness to pay for the issue would have been much quicker.This was 2 months ago. The stipulation on the replacement door was that I had to pay CASH to the driver, which I find very odd but I agreed. So, to date I have nothing other than meaningless emails - which of course takes them a week to respond to.Since then, just excuses and fob offs. The support team should rebrand as 'do not care about clients department'.Today I decided to buy a replacement from a more trustworthy manufacturer so I am 550 euro out of pocket and the cooler has to go to recycling. Absolutely shocking customer support - and please do not respond with one of your empty 'hey we will contact you sort this' responses.
