"I purchased a Tissot watch in Barcelona, Spain, trusting the brand’s 'International Warranty' promise. However, my experience with Swatch Group Turkey has been a total disaster.
My watch has been in their authorized service center for over 20 business days, which exceeds the legal repair limit under Turkish Consumer Law (No. 6502). Despite this, Tissot Global refuses to intervene for a replacement or refund, simply redirecting me to the local distributor who ignores my legal rights.
If you are a traveler or someone who values after-sales support, think twice. Tissot fails to stand behind its global promises when things go wrong locally. I have officially started legal action through the Consumer Arbitration Committee. Extremely disappointed."

This happen long time ago but I am still frustated by Tissot behavior.I bought the first Tissot Touch model in the Middle East upon returning from a mission.I had the watch for over 10 years, and one day the battery needed replacing. I contacted an authorized dealer in France, who sent the watch to Tissot in Switzerland.Tissot's response was this:"We will not change the battery or do anything else to your watch. We had a 10-year legal obligation to maintain these watches, which has now ended. We have decided to take back all the first-series Touch watches. We will keep your watch, and in exchange, we will give you a discount voucher to buy another Touch. But there will be no battery replacement or anything else."I tried to negotiate with them, offering to sign a waiver, stating that only the battery needed changing, etc., etc. Nothing worked. UNACCEPTABLE. How can a watch I bought be exchanged for a discount voucher and kept by the brand?I called them, try to explained that my watch had sentimental value and that I absolutely did not want to part with it... but it was no use.I asked to get my watch back. Later a watchmaker in Switzerland changed the battery but didn't guarantee that the watch was "waterproof" as it was originally, because Tissot equipment is required to do this on this type of watch :( .Never Tissot again..Seiko , Longines etc but this really sucks
If it possible i will give zero rating one even -1 for TISSOT.Recently i purchased new Rockwatch in Milan for 1095 EUR.No comment about new 38mm watch. But during my visit to Launge at Milan airport i forget the box of my new Rockwatch.Contacted TISSOT HQ at LE LOCLE and received system message but without reply.I simply asked to get new box for my numbered Rockwatch (if not free then with payment)but no reply from TISSOT.Maybe TISSOT is over over loaded with complaints about poor quality of their watches and their customer service staff (if exsist) cant respond.Very very bad service from TISSOT.This is for sure my last watch purchased by this brand and for sure my comments will be negative.
Would rate Zero if that option exited.Tissot sold me a defective watch @ Heathrow Airport. The mechanism never worked from day - confirmed by their local appointed agent. Now told - that they are not liable to replace the defective watch and I now have to wait months for them to replace the mechanism. Just not good enough from a top rated international Swiss watch manufacturer.
worst customer service ever!I purchased a TISOT watch in Germany in a very good jewelry shop. Living in Greece , Athens, I went to TISSOT GREECE for a warranty service, because my (quarz) watch stopped working after 3 weeks (!!!).TISSOT GREECE denied to service the watch within warranty frame, because this was not purchased in GREECE!!! Watch out: INTERNATIONAL TISSOT WARRANTY is FAKE!!!! No Warranty, they asked me to pay a fortune for repair! although a replacement of a brand new quarz movement of TISSOT costs max. 30 €!!! TISSOT HELLAS is a shame! stay away!
Things went wrong, and keep going wrong. Very surprised on the poor Customer experience and Customer service of this company, which I viewed as a solid quality Brand.Getting a watch fixed is a nightmare. Since some years Tissot produces watches in a way that only they can repair (and not other independant watchmakers). Aside of that, they can only do so in Brussels (not in The Netherlands).I'm now waiting 3 months.. watch got send.. then send back unrepaired.. then send again (with urgency), but customer care confirms no urgency was requested so will at least take 5 weeks again.. Super frustrating process and, nowhere else to go... Anyone in Customer care/ experience @tissot that can support!!!
I could definitely say that this is the worst customer service I’ve ever received! I am unable to talk to anyone,I’m sent directly to the voicemail. Tried reaching out to the sales manager, who is also not getting back to me!At this point, my phone number has been registered to be sent directly to their voicemail
Very disappointed with Tissot and their customer 'service' in Southampton. I have had a couple of Seiko quartz watches for many years (one since 1982) and they have been excellent timekeepers and worked with no problems. I decided last November that I would purchase a new watch, but the current Seiko designs were not to my taste. In the jewellers saw a Tissot Quartz that looked very smart and bought it. Bad error. The watch stopped working after a couple of months, so I had a new battery fitted at a jewellers. The watch was losing time and continued to do so after the new battery was fitted. I invoked the Tissot guarantee and sent it off to Southampton. After over a month I received a report that the watch had been badly scratched and the battery had been replaced by an unauthorised jeweller and so the guarantee was invalidated.. They wanted almost the price of the watch to service it, including replacing the watch strap, which is stainless steel and in perfect condition. No comment on whether it is actually possible to correct the losing time (which now I doubt). The watch had only been worn three times and spent most of the time in a drawer, in its felt bag. The watch was returned after I refused the quotation and I can see no scratches, even with a magnifying glass. The service technicians at Southampton must have some sort of magic loupes.I feel that the Tissot 2 year guarantee is a scam.
WHILE MY WATCH IS UNDER WARRANTY, THEY ARE BLAMING AN EXTERNAL SCRATCH ( not visible to the naked eye) for the watch fast-forwarding by 5 mins every day! I have to rewind the watch every day ...so the automatic watch is simply not giving me the correct time and they are blaming an external scratch! This is appalling!
