Review Time
I ordered some items 2 weeks before a vintage event. The website (co.uk) suggested it is an English company with stock shipped from UK, but in fact it appears to be from China. I soon realised the items won’t arrive on time. I contacted customer service and they said they couldn’t cancel the order but would offer me 10% extra refund (once I returned the items) for the inconvenience. Fair enough I thought. Once the items eventually arrived, I contacted them again to arrange the return (the return instructions are very strict and unnecessarily complicated). They then offered me 50%, and later, a 60% refund if I did not return the items. Because of the hassle of sending the returns I accepted this offer. But it was misleading and disingenuous. I only ever received 10% refund and now have items I can’t return. Customer service then referred me to their returns policy which did not stack up with what they offered. And they made excuses not to pay out. I urge you to review this policy before buying anything. ZAPAKA were not clear, deceive you and lie to you. Avoid.
I made an order of £193.88 with express delivery which is £22.88(3-8 days delivery).They did not send the order and when I send them mail for cancellation and returning my money,as my order didn't arrived on time they told me sorry(which is not helping me at all) but nothing about in how many days the refund will be done.Already passed 4 days from the last email and they didn't replied back.They are not trusty at all.
I went off the measurements on the website, but the dress I bought is way too small. I had to contact them numerous times before getting a response. When they finally responded, they offered me 2 options: 1 - keep the dress and get a 60% refund or return the dress for a full refund minus postage fees. It would have cost more than the 60% refund in postage so I opted for the 60% refund. However, they then stated this would be 30% and claimed that it was me who made up the 60% refund. I sent them evidence of their correspondence stating 60% refund then they ignored all my emails thereafter. I went via my bank to dispute this and recieved the 60% refund. This company is an absolute con and provides disgusting customer service. I would not recommend them and will definitely not be purchasing from them ever again.
I was looking for a versatile strappy dress that I could dress up or down, and this company had the perfect selection. I chose a lovely midi dress with delicate spaghetti straps and a flowy silhouette. The dress can transition from a casual day out to an evening event effortlessly. The quality is exceptional, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. It's now a staple in my wardrobe!
Despite being called "Zapaka UK" and having a co.uk. website, they expect you to pay to return items to China!The dress is cheap, flimsy and much smaller than expected (I ordered an XL as I'm a UK 14 but I couldn't zip it up!)Customer service do everything in their power to stop you returning your dress. Absolute scam - do not buy!
Not a reputable business. I bought an item costing over £100 for my daughter. It was for a particular event and this timescale would be enough time to receive the item. We paid extra for express 3 to 8 days delivery. Alas, the dress hasn't arrived and the event has been and gone. I emailed and got told the order couldn't be cancelled because it was on route. Also, surprisingly given the 3 to 8 working days timescale given when you purchase an item with express delivery. 3 - 8 working days delivery is actually interpreted as 15 to 24 days. This is from the email reply I got: "Total delivery time = Processing time + Shipping time - Processing time: (7-12 days) Shipping time: (8 -12 business days)." I have read many of the genuine reviews and the general impression is that if you return the item to China there is no guarantee you will get any refund. Very depressing, I wish I had googled the company before we ordered but it looks on the surface a reputable website
Simply do not buy anything from this company. UK website, but everything is shipped and must be returned to China.Failed to deliver on time Failed to cancel the order.Agreed a refund, which they did not pay.Then shipped the dress, weeks late and after the prom, now offering minimum refund. I feel like I have been scammed. Just do not buy from this company
