It took 3 weeks to receive the dress, which did not fit because the measurements were off. I tried to return the dress a week later & they said I had missed the return date by 1 day!!!!!Do not purchase from this company! Horrible return policy, horrible customer service
NEVER EVER BE TEMPTED TO USE THIS COMPANY.. I ordered and paid extra for express delivery. The parcel arrived 3 days later than it should have and was too late for my trip. I was then UNABLE to return it even tho the parcel hadn’t even been opened. I THINK ALL UK COULD SHOULD BOYCOTT THESE CHINESE COMPANIES
Minus 100000 if I could!Following my complaint that I had to pay £55 to return a dress that was terrible quality. Didn't match the picture, didn't match the measurements and was impossible to wear even if I liked it as the sequins cut into your flesh! 4 times I asked how to raise a formal complaint. I have now been told that if I started a law suit then they will not refund me for the dress! Even though I followed their instructions and already paid to return it.Stay away from this company. I am so pleased I have all the emails to back my complaint. They are a last untouched themselves and statutory rights do not apply ALSO they cunningly avoid tax that you have to pay. They ship the dress from China. Then you have to return to America making you liable for the tax. So a £155 dress costs £55 to return then £70 tax Just be aware their terrible reviews are there for a reason I just wish I had seen then before I ordered.
I obviously did not check the reviews for this company or else I wouldn’t have been stupid enough to buy from them. For one they are not based in the uk they do not encourage returns making it cheaper to keep the item and the products they are selling are sold on SHEIN at a fraction of the price with no problem what so ever with returns please do not get caught out do not purchase from this site I wouldn’t have given any stars at all but you had to put one to be able to review
Do not order from here! Took ages to arrive from China, despite representation as a UK company. The dress was not was not worth the £130 , badly fitting and far too long so would require extensive alterations to be wearable.I contacted them to arrange a return within the 7 days as per their policy however was subjected to a ridiculous back and forth exchange over 5 days asking for evidence, photos etc and offering £11 or vouchers etc as others have described, very far from the process within their policy. They have stated that they will deduct "a cost for shipping" and instructions to return to an address in Texas include claiming the item is only worth £15, I explained that the value of the dress, and what I actually paid, minus £9 shipping was £125 and asked for confirmation that they will refund that amount back to the original payment method. After instructing me it will be assessed, and must be received by them within 7 days of the supplying of the return address....They then went quiet....I am yet to find a review that confirms someone got their money back!I am not convinced I will ever see a refund so absolutely not returning it at further cost and now stuck with it! SHOULD Have checked the reviews 🤦🏼♀️
My order took over 3 weeks to arrive. It did not fit in any event. When requesting a refund I was told that it had to be sent to an address in the USA. Of course it would be subject to tariffs and that it had to arrive within 7 days. Pointed out UK law provides for a full refund if returned within 24 days. Now no response. Think they have very questionably business practice. Buy from them at your risk and be prepared to lose your money.
I ordered a dress on 03 September 2025, paying extra for expedited delivery to ensure it arrived in time for an event on 18 September. Not only did the item not arrive on time, but I was told it was still being manufactured — something that was never disclosed at the time of purchase.When I requested a cancellation and refund, the company refused, citing restrictive refund policies that penalise customers based on arbitrary time windows. They “strongly recommended” I continue with the order and seek a refund only after receiving the item.The dress finally arrived on 26 September, long after the event. I didn’t even open the parcel and immediately requested return instructions. What followed was a deliberately obstructive process: repeated demands for photos, SKU numbers, and justifications, followed by offers of partial refunds (£10), coupons (£15), or exchanges at 70% value — all designed to discourage returns.Eventually, I returned the item to a US address at my own cost (£33.20), and despite providing tracking details, the company claimed they couldn’t interpret Royal Mail’s system. I have yet to receive any refund.This company does not comply with UK consumer protection laws, and their practices are misleading and unfair. I strongly advise UK customers to steer clear. It’s a complete scam, and I’ve reported them to Trading Standards.
I ordered several dresses from Zapaka assuming I could return any I didn't like. But the returns process is a scam. They charge you for the return and then an extra 15% charge on each item! I requested to start the return process but customer service have since gone silent on me , so I'm stuck with 4 dresses I'll never wear
