Review Time
Absolutely useless, don’t waste your time trying to send anything by Collect+ ever! I went to 3 different shops to try and post my return and they wouldn’t accept it. Different excuses from lying about the machine being broken, telling me to come back on different days and saying no room in the bag (it’s a box so it will never fit in the bag). Contacted customer service to receive an absolutely rubbish response, that the store is uniquely aware of how much space they have. No action taken against stores who are lying about the machine or saying to come back on a different day when it’s more convenient for them. It’s such a terrible customer experience to have to keep driving to different locations to try and post a package. Collect+ couldn’t care less.
So in response to my review collect plus reply with a contact number no longer in service. Wow…. What a company!!!!!Furthermore to there response to which they have now given the correct number they still fail where they can. Useless is a mild way to describe collect+
Still not enough space for amount of parcels being sent. Get some extra bags to the drop off shops. Complained about this 4 months agoThey also don`t like taking medium sized boxes that are within the guidelines as per website as they fill up the bags and they only get paid per parcel.Evri drop off shops are far better. Don`t bother saying send a private message as you know it is impossible to do it.This is my 2nd complaint about this
On 11th April, 2023 I attended at the Collect + drop off shop "Lochee News Plus, High Street, Lochee, Dundee, DD2 3BZ. I was carrying a medium sized boxed parcel. As soon as the shop assistant saw me with the box, they stated" the printer is down". I advised him that I had already printed 2 labels off and affixed them to the box. I was then told "I will accept the parcel at this time, but this box is too big, I only have limited storage space".It would appear to me from the second I walked in the store he didn't want to take my parcel, since it was a medium sized box. If the store does not have the storage space, then maybe they shouldn't take any Parcels. This was the 1st time I had used this store and will certainly be my last. Not a good advertisement for Collect +.Size of parcel was approximately 40cm x 40cm x 50cm and weight was 4.5kg.About 0905hrs, Friday 14th April, 2023 I contacted the customer service department on 0344 755 0117 and gave the size and weight to Mahmood.I will now await an update.
Been to a couple of collection points lately local to me and the systems always seem to be down so you can’t drop off or collect parcels the people working in the store says it’s best to come back in the morning and t might be working then this has been happening the past week the problem persists
Had a purchase from ebay sent to my local collect+ (Foxhole stores Paignton) via Royal Mail, upon checking the tracking I saw the delivery had been refused, I called them up and asked why, they bluntly told me that they rufuse all large parcels on the spot as they "just haven't got the room" and that that was the end of it, they couldn't care less...... just for some perspective the "Large Parcel" they refused was a car wing mirror! ! it is now the 19th of April, Royal Mail have sent it to the National returns centre and I have no idea when it will be returned to the seller so they can send it again I am absolulty fuming! , what is the point of advertising a service if this is going to happen? never again
Any other collect+ drop off point I’ve used is always great so it really pains me to give a 1* review but AM PM F&J Newscentre in Buckley, North Wales should not be offering this service if they want to treat your customers as badly as me and my friend were treated tonight. After approaching the colleague behind the counter, I said I had a parcel to send. The colleague rolled her eyes and huffed at me as she went to get the scanner. I apologised as I felt this had now become an inconvenience and I shouldn’t be there. To then have labels and receipts thrown across the desk, the parcel snatched up and for her to then ask if I was actually going to be purchasing anything to which I replied “not tonight sorry” and the colleague shrugging her shoulders and turning her back on me just made me feel like a massive inconvenience. This store just shouldn’t be offering this service as they’re doing collect+ a massive injustice with their “customer service”.

Collect+ is all about the instore experience, we no longer provide end to end parcel services. We are now the entry and exit point for parcels and all queries or comments regarding your parcel journey should be directed to the carrier in the first instance please.
Last year PayPoint acquired Yodel’s 50% stake in Collect+ making it the sole owner of the UK’s largest parcel shop network working with a range of partners: Amazon, DHL, eBay, FedEx, Parcel2Go and Yodel. The Collect+ brand is going through some operational changes which will be of benefit to our customers and our retailers. Any parcel queries from before 1 October 2020 should be referred to Yodel.
The Collect+ store network is made up of 10,000 newsagents, convenience stores, supermarkets and petrol stations, so wherever you are, there’s a good chance that a Collect+ Point is nearby. The majority of Collect+ Points are open 7-days a week, early ’til late, so collecting and sending parcels is easy and convenient.See more
