I ordered a Uncapped LTE sim from them…

I ordered a Uncapped LTE sim from them they canceled my order on the 23rd May 2024 but they Debited R299 from my account on the 30th May 2024 and now they are refusing to refund me my money. Do not use MWeb as a service provider they have absolute no interest in assisting customers .. very very poor customer service

This has been the most atrocious…

This has been the most atrocious experience I've had. I called MWeb with confidence that they will assist with the WiFi for my apartment. The first guys I spoke to was so helpful. However, when it came to delivering the service and what I ordered, things dropped drastically. Due to the poor service of them not meeting their standards. They postponed the delivery of the router, after they had delayed already. No communication whatsoever. So I decided to just stop or cancel the whole thing, because if I continue with them at this level of service, I will have issues going forward. I cancelled verbally and the lady said they will cancel on their side, however, she asked me why and I explained. I then decided to go with the more expensive provider, but now they will not realise the line, even though the installation was never completed, their router never reached to me. Despite me not receiving nor using the product, I am forced and bullied to pay a cancellation fee of R1700..This company never even sent me a contract, and the cancellation was due to their extreme lack of service, now I must be punished. This is unfair, unethical and definitely not the way to treat people or customers. Why am I being bullied and threatened to pay a cancellation fee of something I never used!!. It has been almost 2 months since I cancelled. And still can't have WiFi because of the line.

ZERO customer backup

ZERO customer backup. Every time I leave the shores of SA my mailboxes are locked. I have to spend hours on the phone (they don't exactly care about international roaming charges) There is NO email contact in the 'Contact Us' section, No Whatsapp connectivity, and, of course, regular office hours... I have spent thousands of Rands trying to get my issues resolved - to no avail. I am still awaiting a phone call promised 2 days ago.. Each consultant gives a different opinion of what they' think' the problem 'might' be.. So who to believe.. Of course everything is blamed on the system.. I have been abroad for a week now with ZERO access to my emails due to a system which works against its customers. Find another provider. This bunch is useless.

Terrible customer service

I made an order for wi-fi service on 13 May 2024 but my service was never activated. I made numerous airtime wasting calls to their sales contact number and had to hold for almost an hour at some point but still couldn't get help. The consultants on the end of the line always said I'd be activated within 48 to 72 hours but that never happened. I then resorted to cancelling the order and requesting a refund but that in itself was a nightmare. I was told I'd be refunded within 5 to 10 business days but here I am today, more than 10 business days later without any refund paid back to me. Their partner Vumatel just refers you back to MWeb as the responsible ISP yet MWeb claims Vumatel is the one responsible for actioning the refund. They just play ball with customers.

If I could give ZERO stars

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I'm here to talk about your real strength: customer service. Wow, just wow.Spent over 45 minutes on the phone, bounced around like a game of hot potato to five different people. Kudos to Dylan, the last guy, who promised a call back in 30 minutes. It’s been two hours still holding my breath!Moved house, paid upfront for a new line. Seven business days later, request canceled with no explanation. But here’s the kicker: you offer me LTE because "there’s no coverage," even though my entire road has fiber. Bravo! You’ve redefined the math—1+1 now equals 9.Dylan, any day now on that miraculous callback?Incredible job, team.The level of sarcasim should hint at my level of frustration.

They are the worst at customer service…

They are the worst at customer service Its been a month without an internet and we've been calling them to assist with the problem but they are have different views on the problem we've been calling them with the same problem but we never get help yet we payed but it's almost like we've been scammed for paying for the internet we don't even have. I am very furious with mweb right now. The only thing they know how to do is put one on hold till you get annoyed. 👎👎👎👎

A useless bunch of morons

A useless bunch of morons. I have been a customer for about 6 or 7 years now. One cannot even get them on a call to assist. You land up waiting for long periods of time to speak to someone and only to then get cut off. This happens constantly!!!

The worst service experience ever in…

The worst service experience ever in the middle of a move to a new home. Multiple attempts to contact them ends in plus hour long waits for he calls to be answered after which they say they are transferring you to another agent - phones ring . If you do get an agent they are incapable of addressing your concerns . So since moving we have received billing but no connection. Now that we want to cancel their service, they suddenly respond with a hefty penalty. Based on the number of negative reviews I see here, this company should be barred from providing a service or reported to an ombudsman. Completely appalling and unbothered by their clients. I will never recommend MWEB

Fault resolution tedious

I find the fault logging procedure very tedious. When you call the tech department you join a que where it seems only 1 person are manning the line. Holding 53 minutes and when I reached nr 1, I was cut off. App is not very helpful or user friendly as well. When you get through though, things go much better.
