Had a cruise with princess and my…

Had a cruise with princess and my flight was delayed by jet blue. Arrived at the airport and contacted princess immediatlybecause I missed my transfer.was told to uber which I did I arrived at the pier and was told they would send someone from the ship to get me but I was refused entrance by princess. The ship was still in the port. Was told to contact aon so I did. After numerous emails asking for additional info including documentation that the flight was late they denied my claim saying a late flight did not qualify for reimbursement under their plan.that was not the reason I didn’t get on the ship princess refused to let me on and kept all my money both princess cruise and aon are the worst possible carriers and insurance I have ever encountered in my life and I have cruised alot

Horrible..

Horrible... I had to have surgery the day before the cruise. And they would not give me any money back... I fought and fought. Even my travel agent tried and nothing. The worst insurance company I have ever dealt with.

AON Denied refund due to Military Duty

Booked a cruise on Virgin Voyages and was subsequently called to military duty for 12 months. I canceled the cruise and Virgin informed me to request refund through AON Travel Insurance. AON denied my refund and stated "Military duty is not a valid reason for cancellation." If called to duty to defend the United States is not a good reason to get a refund I don't know what is!! As the previous consumer stated, this is a SCAM and military beware!!!

Aon Travel Insurance Guess I've been scammed too

Guess I've been scammed too. This insurance was offered through the cruise company, for a trip to the Bahamas. My husband had a nedical emergency with vertigo that produces the uncomfortable spinning or whirling sensation. Filed a CLAIM last Februrary, still fighting with them. the latest was they sent a letter to my husband (as if he were the Doctor, asking the doctor to provide information on himself, as the patient

Avoid AON Travel Insurance – Endless Delays & Excuses!

I filed a legitimate travel insurance claim after my flight was delayed and automatically rebooked by the airline, causing me to miss part of my prepaid trip. Three weeks later, AON is still stalling.Despite providing every required document, they keep asking for more—including demanding that I personally investigate and provide the airline’s reason for the delay. That is not my job as the traveler! They also forced me to secure airline verification myself—something they could have done.I was promised resolution by a set date—still nothing. I have now escalated my complaint to the California Department of Insurance for bad-faith claim handling.

SCAM Get insurance through your credit card

Get insurance through your credit card. Aon is simply not a trust worthy company and will take months to respond to your claim, ultimately denying it. Our trip was impacted by travel delays from the airline who sent a verification letter promptly. That is a cut and dry reason as to why people purchase insurance, and they scam their way out of paying for any reasoning.

Don’t buy

Don’t buy, it’s a waste of money. First of all the benefits are insufficient and they are not customer friendly. Don’t buy from them on their website because they won’t return your money if you try to cancel after 10 days of purchasing it.

AON travel insurance no star review

My husband and I are in our 70's and bought aon insurance for a cruise. We received devastating news from family that my husbands sister was hospitalized and if we wanted to see her come now. So we canceled our cruise, and has been a nightmare for us trying to get our refund back from them. We have emailed documents signed from the doctors twice stating sisters incurable disease. Now they are asking for more records dating back to August 2024. It is very stressful fighting with Aon for almost 2 months and we see no ending in sight. Please choose your travel insurance wisely, which we have learned through this horrible experience.
