Never book with them at any cost! Air Rubbish

I flew from Gatwick to Fes(Marocco) and on the way backBeware of the hand baggage allowance! They charged me 50 euros for exceeding the maximum of 10kgr just by 3 kgr... and on the same time the flight was almost empty! You couldnt check in from the website or the mobile app ( i dont even know why it existed inthe 1st place). When you tried to put the airport it didnt even show on the screen! So they were actually blackmailing me, without giving me the ticket to board if I i didnt pay for the 50 euros charge. And that was just for 3 kgr more! I think rules are rules but when you know that the flight is not really full and you dont exceed the allowance by 10-20 kgr, I think it should be acceptable that 3kgr wont hurt anyone...I would never recommend anyone book with this airline rather than picking up a more serious one and more professional. Giving more money to a better airline rather than having all this behaviour and attitude is much preferred.

Air Arabia has had a complete makeover, and it is Stunningly Awesome

I booked ticket from Air Arabia and noticed that I entered my Last name “AAA” eventhough i have two surnames, “AAA BBB”. I promptly notified Air Arabia and got a reply in less than 5 hours, to provide my PNR and Passport Copy. I checked the airline website meanwhile and I was shocked to see AED 435 being charged for the inclusion. The Support staff (Reservation) of Air Arabia were so kind enough (for a budget carrier), and readily sent me a new itinerary with my revised name on it. This is such a good gesture, and an indication that the new Air Arabia is no less than any other airline in the category. Will share my travel experience as soon as I travel with them.

AWFUL customer service

I think it’s awful that Air Arabia refused to give me an extra 10kg’s of luggage to take clothes for the children in a local orphanage in Agadir. It would have cost them nothing and meant so much to the children. I have payed for it myself now so the children don’t miss out, but where is the compassion? It’s seriously disappointing from an airline I travel with frequently

Worst customer service experience

Worst customer service experience. Charging the laptop as extra in hand carry baggage. And that too without any prior notice or information. Have to pay 100 AED extra for my laptop. Not in any other airline, out of my 10 tied ones, laptop is considered in hand baggage. Only Air Arabia is a worst exeption. Moreover, they want to book my hand baggage as checked-in baggage, when I asked for fragile tag. They were not having it. Pathetic.

Never had a single issue with them

Never had a single issue with them, smooth ticket purchase, comfortable planes and on time mostly. The service is great, especially the branch on Zerktouni avenue in Casablanca, the call center helped me a lot also.

Air Arabia - Never Again

We recently flew with Air Arabia from Fez to Gatwick and experienced a nine hour delay. I wrote to the company to ask if they were awarding any compensation, their response was that the flight was delayed for "reasons beyond their control". We were advised by staff at the airport that the scheduled plane could not take off because several attempts to repair it had failed. Eventually a replacement plane was flown in and we were able to get away. Whilst problems such as acts of God or civil unrest are generally accepted as "reasons beyond the control" of an operator" breakdowns are not. Therefore the excuse that the flight was delayed for "reasons beyond their control" is invalid and represents a shocking lack of responsibility on the part of Air Arabia. Nine hours over night with nowhere to lay down except the bare floor of the departure area and absolutely no offer of any compensation, what dreadful customer care, better to stick to EU airlines that are controlled and legally responsible for their delays.

Myself and my 16 year old son checked…

Myself and my 16 year old son checked in at Marrakesh. As a treat we purchased extra leg room seats over the exit. We checked that this was OK as we'd flown out on Easy Jet with extra legroom and 16+ was fine. Once we were on the plane and comfortably seated the air stewardess said this was not allowed and he had to move. Said she'd write it in her flight report and then we'd get a refund.I contacted the company via their website portal and I've heard absolutely nothing at all, Ive emailed them once a week since the middle of January.Pretty rubbish id say and i would NOT recommend this airline to anyone!!

I rarely write reviews but must warn others to this type of business and service

I rarely write reviews, but this airlines should have their business practice publicised for being worse than bad. Flight from Agadir to Copenhagen today was the worst ever flight experience and I have traveled a lot on flights. It all started with buying the tickets, when the website automatically applies check-in bagage, although you have ticked off that you don't want the check-in bagage, twice. So be careful when paying and check an extra time if your add-ons is correct at the final payment page. The airline did not want to refund the extra amount paid, but they would issue a voucher or I could use it on check-in luggage or food on the flight. Around 1 hour into the flight, my daughter wanted water, so I went to the back of the flight to get water. It costed 1.5€ but they only accepted cash. So I paid with a 2€ coin. However they did not have coins to give change, but they would give it later they said. The staff went missing around 2.5-3 hours into to flight in both ends, during which time I pressed the 'service please button'. Nobody reacted for good 10-15minutes, so I decided to knock the pilots cabin. Only after 5 minutes and several knocks did the pilots cabin respond. On top of that I got scolded for knocking the pilots cabin, although I was explaining that no stewardess was around and nobody reacted on the button. I wanted the food I ordered for my wife, daughter and myself and the stewardess made a big fuss as to the order was not on their list. Only after I showed her my printed reservation did she come with the food. Obviously it was crap quality and cold like ice. After 3 hours they only started serving food/drinks to the other passengers (horrible quality and service). At this point, I asked for my change back as a matter of principle. They still didn't have change at that point, and when walking away with the rolling bar trolley with food and drinks, my wife accidentally turned her head around to see the stewardess rolling her eyes after my request. She came with the change after 10 minutes. If I could give zero stars, I would have done it

Awfull customer service

Our flight was affected by the disruptions in Gatwick airport caused by drones. Understandable that unpredictable situations occur, but the way the airline company treated us was awfull leaving us waiting on the plain for 7 hours without any water !!Later and in the absense of any information we received an email from the company asking us to phone them. More than an hour on the phone at a charge of more than £50 and noone picked up!! On top of that despite the company's representative informing us that we could get refund for the cost of the flight if we didn't fly with them and chose other means, the company now refuses to do so!!

Avoid this airline whatever you do and…

Avoid this airline whatever you do and book with a reputable one instead! Booked 6 tickets with luggage and food to travel from Manchester to Agadir in December 2018.Returning flight was then cancelled and changed to another date, this meant I had to book extended hotel accommodation for 6 persons for one night which cost me extra. Then to add to the misery the outgoing flight was delayed by 4.5 hrs. Due to the delay and time difference we ended up at our destination the next morning, once again having paid for the previous nights accommodation that we didn't use - again another nights cost! On the return flight we checked in at Agadir airport only to be told that we had only booked 1 piece of 20kg luggage, we tried to explain that we actually had 6 pieces of 20kg luggage that we originally came with, why would we bring baggage one way when we are on holiday. The check in attendants and staff refuse to give there names and are rude and aggressive pushing the blame to us even though we told them to check the system with our flight reservation numbers. We were then told to pay for the luggage which we refused, then they started threatening closing the check in, eventually after insisting they check the computer system after nearly 20 mins of arguing they agreed and checked us in.We also noticed that other passengers were being forced to pay extra for standard cabin bags which they claimed were over sized - this I find absolutely disgusting!.Finally when we did board the flight we didn't receive any food on the flight as the staff stated that our names were not on the food list, we then insisted that we would like to purchase food by card so we can get a receipt to reclaim afterwards, we are then told the machine is not working. We then offer to pay cash and would like a receipt, we are told they have no paperwork to issue a receipt. In the end we ended up paying £35 for food we had already paid for. The in flight staff are as rude as the check in staff. One word of advice pay more and travel with a reputable airline, we will NEVER be travelling with this poor airline again, do yourself a favour and avoid all the above and more!
